Design of footbridge over the river Svratka in Brno
Konečný, Štěpán ; Marván, David (referee) ; Nečesal, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to project and analyze a footbridge for pedestrians and cyclists over the Svratka river in Brno. The footbridge is single- spanned with a span of 64,7 m. Load-bearing structure is made of truss structure with upper deck. The bridge deck consists of floor beams and composite panels. Elements of the structure are made out of steel S355. The structure was designed in Scia Engineer 19.
Alternative use of Szondi test as a diagnostic tool
Pokorná, Martina ; Bahbouh, Radvan (referee) ; Niederlová, Markéta (referee)
The rigorous thesis analyzes the Szondi test and its theory in the light of current knowledge. Its aim is to examine the potential of this diagnostic method and to consider the possibilities of its application. On the basis of the free-association research, the direction of interest has divided into three studies. The first of them verifies the relationship of Szondi's theory with personality characteristics, that are attributed to individual photos (stimulus material) on the scale of the semantic differential. In most cases, the results confirm significant differences between the factors. In the second study, the narrative approach is selected, it means "telling stories" method will be used for discover the projective potential. Qualitative analysis indicates, that stories have some similarities - in the context of given factors, however, they almost never follow Szondi's assumptions. The data does suggest, that Szondi test has a potencial to insight into the important topics of the respondent's life. The third study examines the relationship between the Szondi test and selected personality characteristics measured by Szondi test. The research confirmed the connection between a choice of photographs and some of detected personality qualities. KEY WORDS: Szondi test, projection, face perception,...
Spatial Augmented Reality for Robotic Workplace
Krupica, Petr ; Bambušek, Daniel (referee) ; Materna, Zdeněk (advisor)
This work focuses on the development of a projected user interface and the calibration of a system composed of a camera and a projector. The user interface complements the AREditor application for programming collaborative robots in the ARCOR2 system. This interface allows the user to place objects in the scene more accurately by projecting the outlines of objects directly onto the work surface. To ensure the accuracy of projection, a SLSCalib calibration method was used. This method determined the position and rotation of the projector relative to the camera and the projection matrix, which is later used to calculate the position of virtual objects in the projection plane. The user interface was implemented in the Unity game engine. The resulting application improves the efficiency of working with the AREditor application and enhances the user experience in managing the robotic workspace.
Blended learning for teaching radiology subjects
PELIKÁN, Jiří
The objective of my bachelor's thesis on Blended learning for teaching Radiology subjects, was to create a clear list of basic skiagraphic projections in radiodiagnostics, written instructions added to them, photographic documentation for easier understanding of the projection and teaching program in the Moodle ZSF JU environment. In the theoretical part of the work I dealt with the origin of X-rays, its properties and possibilities of use. I also mentioned the risks of its use, the need for proper radiation protection, and I analyzed the parts of the X-ray machine and the systems used in skiagraphy. In the practical part I created a list of standardly used skiagraphic projections. Using professional scripts, instructions, standards and experience of radiological staff of the Kyjov Hospital, I subsequently created a text manual for them, supplemented by photographic documentation of individual projections on a model. Subsequently, I created a tutorial in the Moodle ZSF JU environment, supplemented by a database of exam questions.
Motivation to help the profession of social worker
KUBEŠOVÁ, Kristýna
The bachelor's thesis deals with the motivation that leads social workers to choose a helping profession and stay in it. The theoretical part of the work is devoted to grasping the basic concepts and different approaches to motivation in connection with the exercise of the profession of social worker. The practical part deals with the analysis of the so called professional collage of 9 respondents from helping professions. Professional collages are created by social workers who already have some experience in this field. The practical part is also supplemented by interviews with social workers. The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to reveal the hidden motives of social workers for the performance of their profession and to compare with the conscious ones (presented, for example, in an interview). The potential offered by occupational collage can also be used to prevent a possible burnout syndrome, which is a risk in helping professions.
Current state and perspectives of development of residential social services capacities for the elderly in MEP administrative districts of the Vysočina Region
Havelková, Tereza ; Šídlo, Luděk (advisor) ; Kučera, Tomáš (referee)
Current state and perspectives of development of residential social services capacities for the elderly in MEP administrative discricts of the Vysočina Region Abstract The thesis deals with the evaluation of the current capacities of residential social services for seniors in the administrative discricts of municipalities with extended powers (AD MEP) of the Vysočina Region and an outline of their possible future development. First, a projection of the population in MEP administrative discricts was created on the basis of the projection of the population of the Vysočina Region and the demographic characteristics of the given administrative districts. Data on the current capacities of homes for the elderly and homes with a special regime in individual MEP administrative discricts were obtained from the Register of Social Service Providers. Based on our projection of the population and the current capacities of residential social services, model estimates of the capacities of these facilities in the administrative districts of the Vysočina Region were calculated. It was found that in order to maintain the current availability of residential services, capacities should increase by more than a third by 2050. The highest relative increase in capacity should occur in AD MEP Velké Meziříčí and AD MEP Jihlava,...
Augmented reality and its use
Ibehej, David ; Holoubek, Tomáš (referee) ; Hůlka, Tomáš (advisor)
Augmented reality is one of the most developed technological areas. It corresponds with the fact, that we hear more and more about it and therefore it needs to be considered for the future. This bachelor thesis attempts to provide brief research in topics of its definition, history, current usage, shortcomings and options in the field of game engines and developer tools. In second part it demonstrates possible utilization in industry providing the solution of mechanical component projection and interaction.
Comparison of pension systems in Czechia and Denmark
Janda, Martin ; Šídlo, Luděk (advisor) ; Klapková, Michaela (referee)
Comparison of pension systems in Czechia and Denmark Abstract The main of thesis is to contribute to discussion on pension systems and their reforms with a focus on Czechia and Denmark. The Danish pension system is considered as the best in the world, that means it could serve as a model for the reform of the Czech pension system. The paper describes the general types of pension systems used worldwide and in more detail Czech and Danish pension systems. The second part introduces the expected population development of both countries in 2080 according to the projection EUROPOP 2013. In the analytical part of the paper are used two different models to calculated potential numbers of pensioners in 2075 and subsequently old dependency ratio. Both of models suggest a higher old dependency ratio in Czechia than Denmark.
