Prevention of Burnout Syndrome in a Selected Company

The thesis focuses on the prevention of burnout syndrome with regard to reducing employee turnover in a selected organization. The theoretical part includes individual concepts explaining this topic. The analytical part will include an analysis of the current state of the selected organization and through research, any gaps will be identified. Based on the identified gaps, suggestions will be recommended to the selected company to reduce employee turnover and avoid burnout syndrome.
Burnout Syndrome among Social Workers in Low Threshold Facilities in the South Bohemia Region

The bachelor thesis deals with the burnout syndrome among social workers in low threshold facilities for children and youth in the South Bohemia Region. The aim of the thesis is to find out the frequency of burnout syndrome and what is the prevention of burnout syndrome in social workers in NZDM. The thesis is divided into several chapters. In the first chapter of the theoretical part, the burnout syndrome itself is characterized, the symptoms, the stages, which persons are most at risk of burnout syndrome, what is the prevention, and finally its treatment. In the second part, low-threshold facilities for children and youth are characterized, what are their goals, target group and methods, as well as what competences the social worker has in the facility and what activities he/she performs. The practical part presents the results of quantitative research conducted in the form of a questionnaire survey, which aimed to determine the frequency of burnout syndrome and to find out what is the prevention of burnout syndrome among social workers in low-threshold facilities in the South Bohemia region.
Supervision as a prevention of burnout syndrome in professional staff of the Prison Service of the Czech Republic

According to their specific professional orientation, the professional staff of the Prison Service of the Czech Republic provides comprehensive care for convicts. The aim is to complete their treatment programs and achieve success in the rehabilitation process of prisoners so that they can return to normal life in society without committing any crimes after serving their sentences. Assisting workers who are in close contact with convicts is professionally and mentally demanding for them. Supervision is a valuable tool in supporting the quality of the services they provide, especially when it comes to mental health. The qualitative research of this diploma thesis summarizes data on the effectiveness of supervision in the prevention of burnout syndrome in the professional staff of the Prison Service of the Czech Republic. It analyzes what support staff perceives as the most emotionally demanding in their work with prisoners. in english The Master's thesis deals with burnout syndrome which is a frequently discussed topic in helping professions. Specifically, the syndrome is being inspected in workers of facilities for children requiring immediate help. In the theoretical part, the interpretation of the term burnout syndrome, its symptoms and preventive measures are defined. The practical part conducts a survey (with use of questionnaire)of situation in which the workers of facilities for children requiring immediate help in connection with the burnout syndrome are. Likewise, some leading workers of these facilities are given the floor in form of interviews to clarify which preventive measures they choose in order to avoid the burnout syndrome in their workers.

This diploma thesis deals with significant factors of burnout prevention and burnout causes out of the perspective of a person that is in danger of burnout and out of the perspective of one's surroundings. The aim of this thesis is to describe the influence of family background as a key component of one's social support. The thesis deals specifically with function of original and newly set family in burnout prevention and finds different aspects that can be crucial for prevention of burnout. Preventing burnout directors of kindergartens

The bachelor's thesis deals with the topic of burnout syndrome among kindergarten directors and the possibilities of its prevention. The first part provides theoretical background of burnout, specifies its symptoms and phases. It describes both risk and protective factors of burnout and presents long-, mid- and short-term preventive measures. Furthermore, it describes the workload of kindergarten director in the roles of leader, manager and executor of the teaching process. The practical part of the thesis aims to establish the extent of burnout among kindergarten directors, it examines its connection with the basic job responsibilities and it monitors the activities used by kindergarten directors at work and in their personal lives in order to prevent burnout.

Burnot syndrome prevention among teachers of pupils with intelectual disability

The Master's Thesis addresses prevention of the burnout syndrome in regards to teachers at special needs primary schools. These teachers work with pupils with moderate to severe intellectual disabilities, multiple disabilities and autism spectrum disorders. The theoretical part of the paper deals with the causes, risk factors, and prevention possibilities of the burnout syndrome. It deals with the burnout syndrome as a general phenomenon which affects the entire population. It furthermore addresses the risk of a burnout in teachers and the risk-factor specifics of this group. Furthermore, it outlines the specifics of education at primary schools for pupils with special needs. This part provides needed foundation for the actual research. The practical part of the thesis contains an analysis of a research conducted at a specific primary special school. For the research, I used the qualitative design method in the form of interviews. The risk of burnout among employees who directly care for the mentally disabled persons.

The major objective of this thesis is to determine the burnout risk of social services staff who care for mentally disabled people. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part defines the basic notions of burnout syndrome. It focuses on describing all symptoms, risk factors and stages of burnout syndrome. It also defines occupations where burnout syndrome is most prevalent and examines procedures and diagnosis methods, as well preventative measures and treatments for burnout syndrome. The second part of the thesis applies theoretical knowledge to determine risk and the factors of burnout syndrome within the target group, namely social service staff. It also provides feedback from an interview with the head of the target group. The results show burnout levels of social service staff and provides support mechanisms for effective leadership within the researched group of social service staff.
The Burn-out Syndrome from the Perspective of Social Services Workers

This thesis deals with the issue of the burn-out syndrome of social services workers and its prevention. The goal was to find out how these workers perceive the burn-out syndrome and what prevention they themselves consider to be effective. The thesis has a theoretical and an empirical part. The first chapter of the theoretical part defines the burn-out syndrome, its phases, symptoms and risk factors. The second chapter of the theoretical part focuses on prevention of the burn-out syndrome. The next part deals with social services, it specifies who can perform the job of a social services worker and describes the job of a personal assistant. The practical part defines the goal of the thesis and the main research question, namely "How do social services workers perceive the burn-out syndrome and what prevention do they consider to be effective?" The following text describes the method used, the target group and the course of the research which had the form of qualitative research using semi-structured interviews. The respondents were selected from the non-profit organisation Hewerz.s.using the intentional selection method. Based on the selected methodology, the criteria for the selection of respondents were their willingness to take part in the research and at least one year of employment at Hewerz.s. The empirical part of the submitted bachelor's thesis analyses and interprets the knowledge obtained from the interviews with the social services workers from Hewerz.s. The conclusion of the thesis sums up the findings and answers the main research question.
