External Human Resources Consultancy

This diploma thesis deals with the subject of external human resource consultancy. It introduces the comprehensive view on consultancy process and describes in detail the range of human resources agendas associated with consultancy. The entire document links theoretical findings with business practice and demonstrates how the external consultancy can be applied in organizations. It reflects common problems in companies with emphasis on extended description of human resource outsourcing. Empirical part of the thesis looks into on-line offers of consultancy services in human resource management. This topic is subject of qualitative survey aimed at describing contemporary human resources consultancy market in Czech Republic. Survey findings present structure of consultancy services. Recruitment agencies and their activities seen by job applicants

This thesis deals with the most common HR service which is usually outsourced - recruitment agencies. The first, theoretical part is to introduce the agenda and it consists of several chapters: outsourcing in HR (what do companies outsource and why), and furthermore recruiting agencies (what kind of agencies can be found in the Czech republic, their legal background, what kind of services do they offer), how can these agencies help agencies and job applicants, their pros and cons. The second part, which is based on interviews with job applicants, describes how people perceive recruitment agencies - what do they expect, what are their experiences, whether they use the service that agencies offer, what are their opinion about recruitment consultants etc. The research concludes with several suggestions for job applicants and for recruitment consultants. The research focus was based primarily on the fact, that the author worked in the reference field as human resources consultant. This perspective enabled to focus on description and perception of everyday activities ongoing in the company in relation to its clients and candidates, from the headhunter's point of view. The data collected during the course of participant observation have been analysing with the use of Michel Callon's studies of economization and commodification in major part, and through the Ronald S. Burt's theory of structural holes in minor part. The theoretical part describes the field of personnel policy, focusing on the issue of finding employees. The Master´s thesis is focused on the work headhunting companies in comparison with the work of employment agencies. The aim of my work is verify possibility to determine the situations in which it is more efficient to use the method of direct systematic search and when the classical method of recruitment. In my work I analyze not only the management of human resources but also the functioning of the personnel departments of companies with reference to personal marketing. Analysis of Marketing Mix Tools of a chosen Company

The subject of this bachelor's thesis is the analysis of the marketing mix of a company operating on the service market. This work consists of two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part of the thesis gives the basis for the practical part. It introduces the different perspectives in defining the terms services and marketing, looks closely at the specifics of marketing on the service market and contemplates the extended marketing mix. The practical part is devoted to personnel consulting in B2B markets and gives the characteristics of the company PŘEDVÝBĚR.CZ, including its marketing strategy. This part is focused on the detailed analysis of PŘEDVYBER.CZ's marketing mix. The aim of this study is to analyze the current marketing mix of PŘEDVÝBĚR.CZ and give the company recommendations for the possible further work with tactical marketing tools.
The analysis of Executive Search company in the context of Czech labor market

The theoretical part of this thesis describes internal and external ways that can be of use while appointing employees. The thesis is focused on using direct systematic search (Executive Search) in the environment of consulting company CSP Partners Ltd. and its aim is to show the specific features of this method usually used to appoint specialists or managers. Commercial and executive processes of the company are depicted within the text. Using analytical tools this thesis examines the whole HR consulting industry in the context of Czech labor market. Historical development and recent trends are included, ethical dimension as well as motivation of candidates approached using this method are described as well. Many practical notes are involved and the final part describes one of CSP Partners' Ltd. projects in detail.
