Benefits of the project Erasmus+ for the primary school's pedagogical staff

This bachelor thesis deals with the positive benefits, negative impacts and possible barriers that could ensue during the implementation of the project Erasmus+ for the primary school's pedagogical staff. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. Primarily, the theoretical part deals with definitions of basic terms related with the further education of the pedagogical staff and its consolidation in the legislation. Furthermore, this theoretical part describes current forms and methods of the further education of the pedagogical staff of the primary school. Finally, this part deals with the motivation of the pedagogical staff to their own further education. This part closely focuses on the project Erasmus+ as the one of the ways in the further education of the pedagogical staff, its general and specific goals, its structure, advantages and disadvantages, benefits for the pedagogical staff of the primary school and thus also for the primary school as the educational institution. Digital technology in the life of Czech schools

The bachelor thesis examines the perspectives of pedagogues and parents towards the growing trend of strengthening digital competencies among pupils and teachers at the primary level of elementary education. The theoretical segment of the thesis delves into the historical progression in gradual penetration of recognizing the significance of technology in education as reflected in legislative frameworks governing schools, alongside an elucidation of emerging concepts frequently discussed in the context of technology in education during the recent decade of digitalization in Czech education. The practical component of the research employs qualitative methodology, conducting semi-structured interviews within both regular elementary school environments and schools with alternative profiles.
The influence of the principal on further education of teaching staff

The bachelor's thesis deals with the influence of the school principal on the further education of teaching staff. The main goal is to find out and evaluate what influence the school principal has on the further education of teaching staff. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical parts. The theoretical part defines the concept of a school principal, describes his/her functions and roles, and determines the competences of a primary school principal. It also deals with further education of teaching staff. The basic terms related to further education of teaching staff, legal anchoring and strategic documents related to the issue are clarified. The division of continuing training of teaching staff and current methods of educational events is indicated. The work also describes the activities of the director in the process of further education of teaching staff at the school. The practical part presents a research investigation, which, based on interviews with school principals and a questionnaire for teaching staff, describes how principals create a further education plan. Communication between teaching staff and management at a particular primary school.

This thesis focuses on communication in a primary school between management and teaching staff. The theoretical part defines the concepts of communication, spoken communication, i.e. face-to-face meetings, telephone calls, meetings and written communication, i.e. e-mail communication. Furthermore, the concepts of school management and teaching staff are defined. The practical part describes the research sample of the selected primary school and further consists of a questionnaire survey to find out the type of communication prevalent in the school, its frequency and the preferences of the type of communication among the management and teaching staff. This was supplemented by semi-structured interviews, these were conducted with one respondent each from the respondent group i.e. one first grade teacher, one second grade teacher, one teaching assistant and one representative from the management. The survey revealed that the most preferred and also dominant form of communication was email communication, then face-to-face meeting was preferred, on the contrary, telephone call was not the preferred type of communication and there was a disagreement between the management and teaching assistants who were more comfortable with this type of communication with first and second grade teachers.
