In my practical bachelor's thesis, for which I have chosen the format of a radio documentary, I focus on the education program at the Faculty of Social Sciences of Charles University - the Summer and Winter School of Journalism. In the radio documentary, I delve into its history and current state, from its inception to the most recent event in the summer of 2023. Due to the format of the document, I have decided to primarily convey this topic through the examination of archival materials. In addition to tracing the development, I also aim to depict the atmosphere of the Summer and Winter School of Journalism during the specific time period. The length of the radio documentary is 26 minutes, 55 seconds. In the theoretical part, I will then explore the format of the radio documentary itself. I will analyze this format, its history and current state, its specific characteristics, who the notable Czech radio documentarists are, and how this genre is represented in our country. In the second part, I will focus on the specific tools and methods that I used in creating the radio documentary. Additionally, I will include the complete script of the entire documentary. Developing children's emotional intelligence through a story (from the point of view of parents and teachers)

This master's thesis titled Developing children's emotional intelligence through a story (from the point of view of parents and teachers). For a proper understanding, in the first two chapters of the theoretical part I summarized where emotions come from, what their function is and characterized the emotional development of the child according to psychologist Marie Vágnerová. In chapter three, I first use relevant literature to present the development of the views on emotional intelligence, compare it to rational intelligence, and then describe its importance for a successful life. The fourth chapter of the theoretical part focuses on the concept of storytelling and its role in the preschool period, especially in the development of emotional skills. I provide reasons why storytelling is an appropriate way to develop emotional intelligence and also include insights into how to work with storytelling in preschool children to effectively develop emotional skills. In the practical part, using a descriptive case study, I examine how this topic is anchored among parents of preschool children and kindergarten teachers and how its knowledge is used in the education of children. demo story of the damn things is a text “material“ and a long-term experiment in a form of an internet story. for me, it's a space to explore a narrative in all its possible aspects – definitions and standards of a book, different forms and media of storytelling, writing methods and the author's relationship to the text itself. the story works with a timeline, plot, linguistic and typographic variability. it deconstructs and redesigns language, creates its own grammar, works with nonlinearity, conscious incompleteness, imperfection and unreadability. and it does this to figure out how to write as honestly as possible. the story is a decision – to write things as they are and as one likes them. by taking inspiration in teen literature, diary novels, internet forums, blogs and automatic writing, a kind of "parody" of the book is created. and it does so by the demontration narrative about friendship, educational system, mental health, searching for a home, escaping into the wild and fitting into the social system

Use of clothing in games (alternative uses of clothing in games, clothing as a narrator)

The thesis focuses on the use of clothing and dressing up as one of the key game mechanics in digital games. The textual part of the work explores existing possibilities of using clothes and dressing up, looks for unusual uses, analyzes the correlation between clothes and other game mechanics or the game world. Based on this research, proposes an alternative solution in the form of a practical part of the thesis. Which focuses on the creation of a game prototype that integrates clothes and dressing up as the main game mechanic. The game prototype is intended to provide players with an unusual experience that influences the meaning and interaction with clothing in the real world into the game environment. The work aims to show a different perspective on the use of clothing in games through a game prototype.

Water element in an illustrated story for preschool children.

The bachelor thesis focuses on exploring the significance of water in early child-hood education and its potential for developing children's perception and un-derstanding. The aim is to introduce children to the importance of water and its role in our lives through an original storybook about a water droplet and to veri-fy this book in practice. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part focuses on the importance of water from an ecological perspective, its connection to cultures and art, and the incorporation of the water theme into the Frame-work Educational Program for Preschool Age. Furthermore, the thesis examines selected literary works for children that address the theme of water. The practical part of the thesis includes a description of the author's book and proposed edu-cational activities associated with it, aimed at expanding children's knowledge about water and developing their aesthetic perception of this elemental compo-nent. The thesis is focused on linking theory with practical outputs and explores the effectiveness of educational methods in the area of perceiving and un-derstanding water in the educational process of preschool children.

A Journey to Prehistory

The topic of my bachelors degree is closely linked to the movie shot by Karel Zeman. It is a story about four boys who decide to travel to the beginning of the time. The whole complex is connected to the opening scene of the movie, when the boys float through the cave into prehistory. This scene became symbolic and also the motif of the "journey" is present nearly in all the paintings. Journey to the beginning of time is a metaphor to study of prehistory. It is a mental travel to the history, travel that helpes us to understand the forgotten reality.

WATER+TOWN AQUADOMOS river story

The result of design is architectural and urban design of unused area in Brno - Pisárky. This area was own by Water works company Brno. The area is situated next to the river Svratka. New research, information and exhibition center is designed on this place. The whole design was created in the context of river Svratka. The building which was designed there is called Aquadomos. This building consists of free pavilions. Each has a different use. The middle one contains main entrance, multipurpose recture halls, exhibitions areas, cash desk, information point and cafe. The largest pavilion contains exhibition area which is devided into six parts. The smallest pavilion which is situated close to the river contains administration department and laboratories. The external form, shape of building, is inspirated by river, waves, shape of landscape. Park is designed in the rest of parcel. In the park there are terraces to the river for easy access closer to the river Svratka. One of the main idea was to bring life closer to the river, to rediscover river in the structure of Brno.

As my diploma thesis I created a series of expresive figurative paintings. The series tells fragments of stories from romantic fantazy sceneries combined with contemporary subcultural and life style motives. My inspiration comes from a strong game play experience and a deep emotional bond with the central european landscape. The story is situated somewhere between a fairy talish past and a dystopic future.

Tato práce se zaměřuje na identifikaci rozdílů stejně jako nalezení podobností v prvcích designu role-playing videoher. Rozdíly mezi západními a japonskými role-playing hrami ilustrují, jak kulturní aspekty ovlivňují proces vývoje her. Teoretická sekce práce se zaměřuje na základní principy japonského umění, jeho formy a estetiku, což jsou faktory, které stojí za současnou japonskou herní tvorbou. Je popsán jedinečný charakter japonských her ve srovnání s hrami v západním stylu, stejně jako důvody vedoucí k těmto rozdílům. Tři RPG herní tituly jsou porovnány z hlediska uživatelského rozhraní, grafického designu a vlastností postav.

The thesis deals with the design of the Holocaust Documentation Centre in Moravia. Currently, there are several museums dealing with the Holocaust in our country, but none of them provides comprehensive documentation of the Holocaust. The proposal therefore seeks to create a museum that will be able to report on the Holocaust in a broader context and at the same time will be an attractive environment, especially for visitors living in the multimedia world of the 21st century.
