Title: Innovativ ways to affect overweight and obesity (use of the machine Body - Space VacuTherm). Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to evaluate if walking on Vacutherme encourages and accelerate body fat loss and figure forming as advertisements claim. Based on my own measurements of the clients of our clinic MS Clinic in Slaný I will examine body weight loss, particularly body fat loss, decrease of centimeters of those areas that are exposed to vacuum and change in body composition. I compare the results of clients enrolled in group used to weight reduction only VacuTherm lesson in the machine, with clients of the second group, which combine lessons in the machine with another physical activity attending at least 2 times a week for longer period of time. Methods: To get results important for bachelor thesis I chose only measurement method. For data processing, this method is most accurate. I used two forms of measurement. With one presentation helped me body analyzer Tanita BC-1000, which provided me with information that can not be measured by conventional methods. The second option is a common way of measuring the circumference of lots tracked to within one centimeter. Title: Possibilities of influencing overweight and fitness in volleyball players. Objective: To determine whether women playing volleyball competitively, overweight and lack of physical prowess, will be fundamental changes in body weight and physical fitness ment based on the intervention program, which consisted of dietary modifications and exercise aimed at increasing physical fitness. Method: For the study were selected twelve women who competed pays the third highest league in volleyball. These women suffer from mild overweight and poor fitness levels. The women are aged between 19-29 years. The probands were selected on the basis of observation and subjective evaluation. This study should demonstrate that the probands if they focus more on activities promoting physical fitness and acquire new habits in the diet, there is a positive change in the body and there will be a success and satisfaction on the playing field and in personal life. Title Diagnosis of the nutritional status focused on overweight and obese population. The aim of the work The aim of thesis is to summarize and describe the methods that are used for determining the nutritional status of overweight and obese individuals. Methodology The thesis is a theoretical work with a search character. The main method in the creation of this type of work is a critical content analysis of available resources for the work, and the subsequent comparison of selected findings about diagnosis of nutritional status of overweight and obese population. Results Review article shows that in the clinical practices of identifying a person's nutritional status of overweight or obese at the first contact with the examined using BMI. The orientation index is also used index WHR. Due to the approximate nature of these indexes, however, provides for additional precise examinations body composition, which are for example caliper measurements or bioimpedance. Essential components of a diagnosis of nutritional status are also constitutional typology, family and personal history, immunological examination, biochemical tests and monitoring dietary habits. Eating Habits of High School Students

(in English) Aims: The aim of the diploma thesis was to monitor the eating habits of students from chosen high school which is located in Prague. These habits were taken into consideration with regards to social aspects of food and the causes of overweight and obesity. Methods: Qualitative research was used as the default method to determine the objective of the thesis. Based on literature review the survey was created. The respondents subjectively evaluated a set of questions relating to food and eating habits. Results: According to the findings, a major impact on eating habits of high school students has a family in general or household, in which students live. Cooking trend at home plays an important role, even when talking about boom in eating at restaurants and fast foods. Regardless of household income, students are used to really eat most often at home (breakfast and dinner) and at school (lunch). As for eating habits, respondents, from the vast majority, do not pay any attention to this process. And even if the results of the research showed that a large majority of students think they eat healthily, then less than half of them is not satisfied with own weight. ABSTRACT: This thesis deals with the obesity of older school age children and their dependence on eating and exercising habits. The theoretical part summarizes knowledge regarding overweight and obesity, disease diagnosis, epidemiological trends and complications related to obesity. Emphasis is put on the evaluation of reasons to why this problem occurs, such as disease prevention, dietary and exercise recommendations, its therapy and inclusion of the issue with the secondary school curriculum. Lifestyle as a determinant of overweight and obesity

Diploma thesis "Lifestyle as a determinant of overweight and obesity" focuses on risk factors determination which influences overweight and obesity in population in regards to failure of programmes dealing with this topic. Main goal of this thesis is to understand current lifestyle of chosen group of people because traditional understanding for reasons of overweight and obesity - higher energy income than outcome - seems to be insufficient. Further target is current Czech policy analysis, especially part of policy dealing with overweight and obesity prevention and its connection with European Union. In the first part of the thesis reader takes up with overweight and obesity as itself. This is followed by targets and research questions definition. Primary method is qualitative research. There is no generally accepted definition for this kind of research and therefore this method is briefly described here. Method used for policy analysis is content analysis. Designing eating plans for women and men suffering from obesity.

Title: Designing eating plans for women and men suffering from overweight. Objectives: Show an importance of lifestyle changes, a modification of diet habits and an inclusion of physical activities in overweight or obesity therapy. Find which aspects made positive influence to the state. Methods: The study selected five women and five men suffering from overweight. None of them did not operate or operate professionally or competitively any sports. Selected men and women would like to change your lifestyle and this study they had to be developed. I put probands and their questions about their past activities, health and relationship with food. In addition, I measured using bioelectrical impedance and tailoring meter. The last parameter that interested me was the weight, which I measured using scales. Based on all the identified model parameters was compiled weekly individual eating plan and recommended physical activity. The study lasted six months, during which I attended probands and continuously measured them. After 180 days was made final assessment of the impact of changes in eating habits to influence overweight and obesity. Obesity of young school - age children

The thesis deals with problematic of obesity of school-aged children, focuses on different points of view, tries to find out reasons leading to obesity and effects of obesity on the health and psyche of children. Obesity is defined as excess adipose tissue above optimal limits. Obesity mechanically burdens static strain and musculoskeletal system and makes worst physiological functions. The thesis is composed of a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part deals with causes of obesity, with prevention, effects of overweight and compares opinions of Czech and world authors. The practical part is based on measuring weight and height of sample of children from schools in Pribram. The results of questionnaires filled by children attending 4th grade of primary schools are examined. Children answered questions related to their eating habits and their leisure time. Due to the fact that the number of obese children is increasing continually, it is necessary to be more focused on prevention and helping overweight children and their families.
