The impact of an interventional movement program on the development of muscle flexibility in the hip joint area in young and middle school-aged football players
Slavíková, Anna ; Malíř, Roman (advisor) ; Chrudimský, Jan (referee)
Title: Influence of the interventional exercise program on the flexibility development muscles in the hip joint area in football players of early and middle school age. Objectives: The aim of this work is to investigate the effect of an intervention containing typical gymnastic exercises on hip joint muscles flexibility in football players of early and middle school age. Methods: This study is a quasi-experimental, quantitative work. It involved twenty-nine soccer players from different age categories (µ = 9.9, SD = 1.6). The players underwent baseline measurements before participating in a 3-month interventional exercise program, which focused on gymnastic exercises to improve hip joint muscle flexibility through static and dynamic exercises. After 3 months, the players completed outcome measures, which included exercises: side leg lift, extend leg forward, and extend leg backward. The measurement data was obtained using Kinovea. Data analysis methods included paired t-tests, Wilcoxon paired tests, and sensitivity analysis. Results: The paired t-test and Wilcoxon paired test showed us a low p-value of p < 0.001 for all measurements, confirming that the differences in pre-test and post-test for side leg lift, extend leg forward, and extend leg backward are statistically significant. From the paired...
Effects of phosphate on the mobility of arsenic in contaminated areas
Stubbe, Petra ; Drahota, Petr (advisor) ; Hiller, Edgar (referee) ; Courtin-Nomade, Alexandra (referee)
Arsenic and phosphorus are chemical analogues, and it is proposed that they have similar chemical behaviors in environmental systems. To gain a better understanding of the geochemical processes that control the mobility and stability of arsenic and its phases exposed to low phosphate levels, a variety of environmental matrices was studied using different experimental approaches. Among the samples studied were contaminated agricultural soils, mine waste materials, streambed sediments and river waters from a contaminated fluvial system, and synthetic arsenate phases. A number of common methods and techniques used for geochemical and mineralogical investigations were chosen, such as XRD, Raman spectroscopy, ATR-FTIR, ICP-OES, or EPMA. The results obtained during my doctoral studies are presented in the form of three manuscripts. The first study explores the long-term impact of continuous input of relatively low phosphate discharged from a small- capacity wastewater treatment plant on arsenic mobility within a small fluvial system located in a natural arsenic anomaly. Here, we document a significant decrease in total arsenic concentrations and sequestration of phosphorus in sediments downstream of a treatment plant. This part of the research highlights the past and ongoing mobilization of arsenic from...
Temporality in Bikesharing in Urban Mobility: The Case of the City of Písek
Kučera, Ondřej ; Marada, Miroslav (advisor) ; Květoň, Tomáš (referee)
Shared cycling mobility has positive impacts on urban environments. However, the functioning of bike-sharing systems in medium-sized cities remains relatively underexplored. This thesis focuses on analysing the rhythms and temporality of bike rentals in the city of Písek across different timeframes. The study examines the differences between weekdays and weekends, as well as between the school year and summer holidays. The analytical approach is based on geolocation data provided by the service provider. Through spatial analysis, analysis of flows between different types of stations, and analysis of rhythms at selected stations, the author identifies differences in the mobility patterns of the population. Institutional constraints, such as school schedules or service opening hours, have a significant influence on the mobility patterns of residents, with the most noticeable differences observed between weekdays and weekends. The results suggest that the differences between weekends during the school year and holidays are not significant, while differences between weekdays during the school year and holidays primarily involve the activity of students. During the school year, students are constrained by school attendance, while during holidays, they tend to travel for recreation or sports activities....

Mobile IPv6 in OPNET Modeler
Žáček, Martin ; Růčka, Lukáš (referee) ; Skořepa, Michal (advisor)
Master’s thesis includes knowledges about mobility support in IPv4 networks and studies abilities for mobility support in IPv6 networks. Describes protocols for mobility support, their functions and topologies like MIPv6 (RFC 3775), FMIPv6 (RFC 5568), HMIPv6 (RFC 5380) and F-HMIPv6. The thesis contains a design of the simulation MIPv6 in the OPNET Modeler program and the measured results are explained. There are analysis of source code for mobility support in MIPv6 too, which were used for design a new protocol according to FMIPv6 in the OPNET. The following parts of the proposal have been successfully resolved. The link-layer events detection, which triggers FMIPv6 protocol and implementation of two new types of messages, RtSolPr and PrRtAdv. Knowledges from this thesis could be used for next development of FMIPv6 in the OPNET. But could be used for generaly development new protocols working at network-layer too.
