The swinging segment of the slope lawnmower

This bachelor thesis deals with the design of the swinging segment of the Spider 2SGS slope lawn mower. The issue of maintenance of hard-to-reach areas, e.g. around load-bearing structures of solar power plants, is currently not sufficiently addressed or discussed. The optimal solution to this issue is to design an additional mower for an existing mower. Therefore, a search was carried out on the market of available swinging segments and the purpose of their use. Furthermore, three prototypes of structures designed by the company DVOŘÁK - slope mowers and the selection of the most suitable one based on the given parameters - were described. The parameters of the V-belt and toothed belt used and the durability of the bearings used were verified on the basis of the design calculations performed, drawing documentation of all components, sub-assemblies and assemblies and 3D models of the swing segment assembly and the overall model of the equipment on the mower were created. On the basis of the calculations and drawing documentation, a prototype was assembled, which will be used for subsequent testing in real conditions.

This bachelor thesis focuses on the design of a crane trolley with a capacity of 20,000 kg. The work includes the design of the lifting mechanism, such as the design and inspection of the rope, the design of the dimensions of pulleys and the rope drum. Furthermore, the thesis includes a strength check of the rope drum, design of the lifting drive, calculation of the running gear, and a basic strength check of the crane trolley frame.
Modular firefighting superstructure for timber trailer

This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the design of a modular firefighting attachment for forwarding trailers. The research part is focused on existing firefighting attachments, structural characteristics of trailers, types of firefighting pumps, structural characteristics of tanks and types of attachment exchanges. The outcome of the thesis is a complete 3D model of the attachment assembly. The thesis includes calculations of profile deflection, strength calculations of connecting components and buckling check of supports. The result of the work is a full drawing of entire attachment assembly.
Carried plant lifter of forest tree seedlings

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is the design of a carried plant lifter of forest tree seedlings for a tractor in the performance class up to 160 kW. In the introductory part of the thesis, there is research on the topic of forest nurseries, forest restoration and planting material. In the construction part, there is a complete design of the assembly of the carried plant lifter using a CAD program. The work includes the calculation required for the propulsion of the lifter and determination of the propulsion type of the vibrating grate. Furthermore, the work contains strength calculations of selected structural elements. The result of this work is a complete assembly of the carried plant lifter with drawing documentation.
Belt conveyor for brick rubble

This bachelor's thesis deals with the design of a belt conveyor for transporting brick rubble. The main objective of the thesis is to create an efficient conveyor system that meets the specific requirements of the brick industry. The work includes the classification of belt conveyors, analysis of structural elements, and selection of suitable components. Furthermore, detailed calculations are performed concerning the supporting stations, required motor power, and belt dimensions. The thesis also provides an overview of major belt conveyor manufacturers and describes various types of tensioning and cleaning devices. The result is a design of a belt conveyor that ensures reliable and efficient transportation of brick rubble.

This bachelor's thesis focuses on dynamic mills, i.e., devices designed for crushing materials. It contains a theoretical part discussing their classification, construction, principles of operation, and areas of application. The theoretical part is followed by a research section describing global manufacturers of dynamic mills and the specifications of the machines they offer. Subsequently, the practical section presents diagrams that integrate the entire process of selecting a mill from the customer's perspective. The final part of the thesis is devoted to the simulation of grinding. It describes the essence of the specific software's functionality and the practical implementation of the simulation on a particular machine.
Disc trencher for mechanical soil preparation before to afforestation

This bachelor thesis deals with the complex design of a disc trencher carried by a tractor, power class up to 110 kW. The initial research presented methods of mechanical soil preparation prior to afforestation, examples of disc cutters available on the market and the machine design concept. In the next section, a complete CAD model of the entire disc trencher was presented, followed by a more detailed design of the individual components. The work also includes calculations to determine the power required to drive the machine and the choice of drive type for the disc wheels themselves. Strength calculations and subsequent checks were performed on the selected components. The result of this work is a complete assembly of the disc trencher and its drawing documentation.
Design of grain conveyor

This bachelor's thesis deals with the design and structural solution of a conveyor for transporting agricultural grain. This thesis presents an analysis of the transported material, the choice of a conveyor and its design solution. This thesis also consists of calculation of the main parameters of the selected conveyor, design of the drive unit, control of the transported quantity by the conveyor, strength and operational calculations of the main parts. At the end of the thesis, transport in two locations of the conveyor is simulated using DEM. This thesis consists of a technical report and drawing documentation. The drawing documentation contains drawing of the assembly, drawing of the screw, drawing of the shaft hub and drawing of th connecting pin.
Handling equipment for metal sheets

This bachelor thesis focuses on the design and construction of sheet metal handling equipment. In this thesis, research, analysis and evaluation of various alternative solutions and the actual design of the manipulator with strength analyses using FEA is carried out. The important structural elements of the manipulator are calculated and strength checked using FEA method. This work consists of a technical report and drawings. The drawing documentation shows in 2D, a drawing of the overall assembly and detailed drawings of the components.
