Identification and evaluation of educational needs of vocational subjects teachers at secondary schools of agriculture

The diploma thesis deals with the teachers educational needs of vocational subjects at secondary agricultural schools in the field of continuing professional education. The main goal of the work is to identify, characterize and evaluate these educational needs. The theoretical part of the final thesis is devoted to teachers in the world of education, introduces the further of pedagogical staff and describes the specifics of adult education. The profession of a teacher, pitfalls, pros and cons of the teaching profession is detailed here. The work does not neglect the view of education in various departments of the government and describes, in particular, specific activities implemented in the department of the Ministry of Agriculture in relation to vocational subjects teachers at secondary agricultural schools. The research part is based on the questionnaire survey method, the respondents are teachers of vocational subjects at secondary agricultural schools. The research part is supplemented by interviews with departmental agricultural organizations representatives. This Bachelor Thesis analyses the financial relationships between the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Finance, the EU Budget and Agricultural Companies. The concepts of Agriculture and Agricultural Companies are defined in this The-sis. It also introduces selected subsidies for Agriculture. Basic financial concepts are clarified and the monetary development is described as well. In the practical part, financial positions of particular subjects are introduced. The transformation of milk into a dairy product is described too. Lastly, the selected indexes, describing the development of the Czech Agricultural Production, are analysed.
Forest management of the Dominican order in the Mimoň region

This thesis deals with the forest management of the Dominican Order in Mimoň area. Specifically, it focuses mainly on the area of Hamr nad Jezerem, in the years 1931-1938 and the last years of the active duty of the Directorate of the Dominican forest management in 1945-1950. The emphasis of the thesis is based on the description of the previously uncharted historical chapter of the Dominican order in this area, especially with regard to the economic activity of the forest administration in this given period and legal aspects of the whole issue with the acquisition, loss and subsequent efforts to return these properties. The Fund no. 37 in the Archive of the Dominican order, deposited in the 1st Department of the National archive in Prague, was used as the main source, subsequently supplemented by specialized and professional literature, an interview with the legal representative of the Dominican order in Prague in the case of restitution and also by few internet resources. The animal experiments seem to be current theme of these days. This thesis is focused on using animals, especially rodents, in the Czech Republic for the last ten years. There is also emphasis on the legal principles of animal protection and observance of three "R" principles. In this study there were used data from available sources about using laboratory animals in the Czech Republic. Also there was prepared a questionnaire research in different scientific institutions which use animal models in their researches. There were found out from available sources that the amount of experimental animals is on the same level (about 230 000) during the years 2006-2015. There were no deflection. Also this fact is the same for using rodents (about 120 000) as biomodels. Further there was found out that the laboratory mouse (Mus musculus var. alba) is the most used experimental model. 66,7% of questioned respondents considered the laboratory mouse the most common used laboratory animal and 60% of questioned respondents supposed that the number of used laboratoty animals was decreasing.
Establishing a Marketing fund in the Czech Republic to support the agricultural and food sector

The thesis deals in its theoretical part of the Czech food market - their promotions and opportunities for improvement in the context of establishing the Marketing fund with the insipration taken from the Austrian and German models. It shows some of the proven mechanisms of applied Wine Fund of the Czech Republic. A separate chapter is devoted to the Federation of the Food and Drink Industries of the Czech Republic, which its 20 years of history inseparable part of the food market and one of the main promoters of establishing a Marketing fund in the Czech Republic. Other chapters are devoted to the Austrian model of Marketing fund (Agramarkt austriacus AMA) which works flawlessly since Austria's entry to the European Union and analysis of implementation of the Fund in the Czech environment.
Open data in the agrarian sector

This Master's Thesis Open Data in the Agrarian Sector is interested in the usage of open data in the particular sector of the national economy. The aim of the search is to approach the theoretical background of the issue. The emphasis is predominantly put on the definition of open data and other related subjects. The practical part covers the use of open data in the Czech agrarian sector. The main goal is to analyze the contemporary state of open data use of its selected institutions. After the analysis outcomes, there follows the practical demonstration of selected data opening in this sector (Grant Recipient List). The project prototype is focused on the transfer of selected data in the open format, its publication and visualization possibilities. The last part deals with the suggestion for the possibility of opening data for Czech agrarian institutions; its evaluation from some of the perspectives is also included. The conclusion provides the general evaluation of the contemporary open data use and the summary of the given suggestion on their spread.
Marketing Activities of the Ministry of Agriculture to support domestic food and their effects

Due to the liberalization of the international trade, there is an increase in food imports to the Czech Republic. However, many producers are not able to face this competition and are forced to end up their business. This leads to the decrease in the production of agricultural commodities and foodstuffs which also reduces the food self-sufficiency of the Czech Republic. Therefore the Ministry of Agriculture (MA) runs activities in order to promote domestic food and the competition "Regionální potravina" is one of those activities. The related campaigns are aimed at both the producers and consumers. The aims of this thesis are to find out how producers perceive the competition Regionální potravina and activities of the MA and whether producers observe that competition and activities of MA have some positive effects. Another aim is to find out whether consumers know the competition Regionální potravina and activities of MA, whether they buy this food and whether they prefer to buy Czech food. The theoretical part concerns especially marketing and legislation related to the promotion of domestic food. The practical part is based on a survey among producers and consumers. Based on the results of this survey, the recommendations for the Ministry of Agriculture are set out.
