Class Management as Teacher's Managerial Activity

The topic of the thesis is class management as teacher'smanagerial activity. The aim of the thesis is, based on the perused documents, and the interview analysis made with three primary classteachers and three secondary classteachers, to draw a set and description of all manager competition and class management related activities. The thesis is supposed to become the source material for a comprehensive meta analysis of managerialcompetence in a teacher's professiography. Within the theoretical part, the thesis focuses on the comparisonof a teacher and a manager. There search section, using qualitative approach, deals with the issue of class management as managerial activity. The half-structured interview with six respondents have been used as a method, which are further analysed and the conclusion of the thesis has been elicited based on them.
Competency of a Manager in a Multicultural Environment of the INVIA.CZ, Ltd.

Master´s thesis is focused on managerial competence issue in travel agency INVIA.CZ, Ltd. This company has recently expanded into new markets in Poland, Hungary and Romania. All these subsidiaries are managed from the Czech parent entity. Aim is to identify how the managers´ competence is influenced by this expansion and to propose an improvement of their managing style.
The competence profile of volunteers coordinator in a sport event

Title: The competency profile of the coordinator of volunteers at a sports event Objectives: The main aim of this thesis is to create the competency profile of the coordinator of volunteers, primarily from the perspective of volunteers, for the needs of organizers of sports events especially in the Labe aréna Račice. The secondary tasks are to create the same profile from the perspective of managers, then from the perspective of volunteers and managers and to compare those particular perspectives. Methods: The thesis combines qualitative and quantitative methods. Based on expert literature studies and interviews with the coordinators of volunteers and other managers of sports events a list of competencies necessary for the effective work of the coordinator of volunteers was created. Then the importance of individual competencies was evaluated by written questioning of volunteers at the 2019 Junior and U23 Canoe Sprint European Championships. Results: The created competency profile includes 20 competencies that were evaluated by volunteers as the most important ones. These are competencies falling into the competency group personal characteristics: positive, trustworthy, responsible, diligent, friendly, mentally resistant, with natural authority, rational and calm. Managerial Competencies of Women

The bachelor thesis focuses on challenges that women face in leadership positions. The work outlines a conceptual framework by defining management, management styles as well as essential managerial skills. It also explains key concepts such as differences in the way women and men behave, the issue of discrimination and entry barriers. Furthermore delivers qualitative analysis of interviews conducted with a sample of selected women. The survey method used is a semi-structured interview in which views, ideas and experience of female managers are expressed. The interviews deal with challenging situations related to their working environment, with the differences between female and male colleagues and with the future role of women in the workplace. The aim of the thesis is propose changes in the approach of companies to female managers and at the same time to find measures to support women applying for management positions.

Title: Identification of sport manager's role and creation of the type position of a sport manager in the Czech Republic and Germany Objectives: The main objective of the primary survey is to examine the job-side situation of "Sports Manager" on the labour market on the Czech Republic and Germany. Compare the differences between demands for sports managers and use the results of empirical research to introduce a sports manager. The partial goals, comments and recommendations were formulated as follows: 1) Determine which knowledge and skills are relevant to HR department (human recources department) and quantify them. 2) Verify that HR department requires education and practice, and specify the type of education, length and type of practice. The bachelor thesis is focused on the analysis of managerial competences of the students of the Faculty of Economics of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice who study program Management and Business Economics with a proposal how to develop core competences to increase their competitiveness in the labour market. The results are based on the questionnaire survey of the students and managers of companies, focusing on the soft skills established by the Central Database of Competences.

Time Management as one of the managerial competencies

This diploma thesis deals with the topic of time management as one of the managerial competencies needed to successfully perform managerial work. The diploma thesis shows a theoretical point of this theme, its application in practice and empirici research. The main aim of diploma thesis is to show to managers the possibilities of such self- assessment may be carried out in the field of time management, discover their strengths and weaknesses in this area and find potential opportunities for development. To develop the empirical part of diploma thesis I chose technique of management shadowing, method of 360degree feedback and Competency Based Interview. Into the research I have included three manager women of non-profit and profit organizations. The research resulted serious and less serious individual shortcomings in the theme of in time management. The most serious shortcomings may include reluctance to delegate tasks, which is due to a lack of confidence in the ability of colleagues and subordinates managers, and inability to reject the request due to a sense of guilt against the applicant.
