The influence of social media on adolescents

This bachelor's thesis focuses on young teenagers and their relationship with social media and how social media affects their lives and what impact it has on them. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. In the theoretical part, the first topic is approached in more detail is the topic of adolescence and its phases, the next topic is the internet and social networks, where the risks of possible addiction to these networks and the Internet are described. The last chapter focuses on the issue of cyberbullying, its forms and manifestations. The empirical part is dedicated to practical research. I chose case studies as a form of research. The case studies are further analyzed through open coding. I used semi-structured interviews to collect data for this empirical research. The goal of this bachelor's thesis is to present social media and anylyze the relationship of adolescents to these social networks and further reveal how these networks influence the lives of today's adolescents.
Social media in a group of children aged 9-11

This thesis focuses on the research of the influence of social networks on relationships in a group of children aged 9-11 years. The theoretical part examines the development of social networks, the psychological development of children at this age and the risks associated with their use. The empirical part is based on qualitative research conducted through in-depth interviews with children and their parents. Analysis of the data using the method of interpretive phenomenological analysis revealed that children in the mentioned age range actively use social networks, despite the fact that there are age restrictions set by platforms. For them, social networks are mainly a means of communication and connection with peers, which can have a positive effect on bonds in the team and maintaining contacts outside the school environment. However, serious risks, such as cyberbullying, social exclusion and envy, have been identified as associated with children's social media activities. The results of this work can serve as a starting point for further research in this area and as a support for the development of appropriate preventive measures.
Digital technology in the life of Czech schools

The bachelor thesis examines the perspectives of pedagogues and parents towards the growing trend of strengthening digital competencies among pupils and teachers at the primary level of elementary education. The theoretical segment of the thesis delves into the historical progression in gradual penetration of recognizing the significance of technology in education as reflected in legislative frameworks governing schools, alongside an elucidation of emerging concepts frequently discussed in the context of technology in education during the recent decade of digitalization in Czech education. The practical component of the research employs qualitative methodology, conducting semi-structured interviews within both regular elementary school environments and schools with alternative profiles.
Cyberbullying

This is work deals with the creation of the questionnaire, it’s purpose is to prevent threats in cyberspace largely focus on cyberbullying and also should act preemptively to selected ages from parents, pupils from primary school to secondary school students. The questionnaire is to determine the Police of the Czech Republic not only by the District Department, as well as all police officers, criminologists for occupy in the prevention, detection and analysis of cyberbullying.

The bachelor's thesis deals with bullying in high school and its prevention. The work is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part defines terms such as bullying and cyberbullying. Classifies types of bullying and stages of bullying. It also deals with the individual actors of bullying, such as the aggressor and the victim, and the effects of bullying on the aggressor and sacrifice. The work points to the reasons, means and, above all, the strategy of investigating bullying. The conclusion of the theoretical part belongs to prevention and the preventive measures themselves. The practical part is devoted to the presentation of the re-sults of the own questionnaire survey, which aimed to find out what experiences students of selected secondary schools have with bullying and cyberbullying. All data from the carried out own research are compared with theoretical knowledge and research results that have already been interpreted on this topic.

The main topic of this thesis is focused on the issue of cyberbullying among secondary schools’ students. The idea of the work is to know, describe and interpretate the problem of cyberbullying at secondary schools. This thesis is divided into two parts – theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part are described information and communication technology, online security, social networks with describe, describe of bullying. Next and main section is about phenomenon of cyberbullying, which is described, divided and reader gets to know about the characters of cyberbullying. As well as protection and coping strategies, prevention programmes. At last, but not least the differences between traditional bullying and cyberbullying. In the practical part the author tries to get know if secondary schools’ students are threatened with cyberbullying, if they know what cyberbullying really is, how is wide, if they actively particulate in this phenomenon and who they let know (if so). End of the questionnaire is focused on their relationship with social networks. The questionnaire was distributed online and physically.
(Un)safe social media as perceived by children

This thesis is devoted to the safety of children on social networks from the perspective of their own experiences and their perception. Using interpretive phenomenological analysis, it tries to provide the lived experience of these participants with an emphasis on the sensitivity of the topic. The results were used using semi-structured interviews with 7 participants aged 13 from Lutín Primary School. The individual interviews were recorded and subsequently interpreted according to the individual procedures of the chosen methods of analysis.
Cyberbullying awareness in adolescence

This thesis examines awareness of cyberbullying in adolescent children. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. In part one, the reader is introduced to the basic concepts related to bullying and cyberbullying, including the types, forms and platforms on which cyberbullying can take place. It then describes who is involved in the whole process of cyberbullying and also outlines the legislative provisions. The paper also focuses on prevention and sources of help for victims of cyberbullying. Adolescents' attitudes towards cyberbullying, their awareness of cyberbullying and their level of condemnation of cyberbullying are described. In the second, practical part, the level of awareness of adolescents was investigated by means of a quantitative questionnaire survey in three main areas: the adolescents' knowledge of basic concepts, their knowledge of cyberbullying prevention and their level of cyberbullying condemnation. A total of 116 questionnaires were used for the subsequent evaluation, where the average age of the respondents was 13.1 years. The results showed that the most familiar form of cyberbullying for students is cyberstalking and that they get most of their information about cyberbullying from school.
