E-communication in a Small Company Using ICT Processes

This thesis is focused on information and communication technologies (ICT) in conditions and with limits typical for small companies. The goal of this work is to improve competitive advantage in the market and to create an effective cooperation in the team of this company. The Solution of the thesis suggests how to design such an information strategy in service and marketing company and how to implement ERP system in future.
Methodology of Competitive Strategy Creation of ICT Firms Implying the Clusters Membership

The dissertation thesis is focused on the creation of the competitive strategy involving the cooperation with other subjects on the market. It has been chosen the concrete industry of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). The specifics of this industry have been defined. Those specifics are highly determining factors for successful companies. ICT is extremely globalized and has interdisciplinary characteristics. It is the fastest developing industry with the lowest language barrier. This combination makes the ICT industry as a greatly potential world-wide expansion industry. The communication technologies became common part of information technologies and all together enter into other fields, such as energy, banking, health etc. The market is globalized and only one company has very small power. This is why the cooperation between companies is preferring form of gaining a number of strategic goals, e.g. entering new markets, collective R&D. The current state of competitive strategies and strategic alliances mapping is also the key part of the work. The clusters form of cooperation is described in more detail, because this platform of collaboration has been chosen as the most suitable one according the ICT industry specifics. Based on theoretical research the further research has been done. The collected data has been proceed with statistic methods used the MS Excel or STATISTICA software. The outputs show the key activities and factors of competitive cluster, together with potential risks and the benefits for the clusters members. All the above mentioned has been implied into the methodology of competitive strategy creation including the clusters membership. This methodology is the main goal of the dissertation thesis.
Information System Assessment and Proposal of ICT Modification

The bachelor thesis deals with the assessment of information systems in the selected company. An insight into the issue is given by the characteristics of key concepts and theoretical background. The thesis includes an analysis of the current state of the company. The shortages arising from analytical part are solved in the last part of the thesis as a proposal for changes that will lead to the improvement of the present situation.
Srovnání konceptu Smart cities ve vybraných evropských metropolích

This master's thesis focuses on the implementation of the Smart City concept in three selected European cities – Vienna, Prague, and Berlin. The work analyzes and compares the strategies and plans of these cities for implementing smart solutions, evaluating their impact, and motivations for their introduction. Based on this analysis, the strengths and weaknesses of each city were identified, and recommendations for further development were proposed. The results show that despite certain differences in the approach and focus of each city, there are common motivations and goals that reflect global trends in urbanism and technology.

The bachelor thesis deals with the implementation of the Smart City concept in Moravský Krumlov. The main goal of the thesis is to analyze the level of implementation of the Smart City concept in Moravský Krumlov and, based on this analysis, identify possibilities for further development. The theoretical part characterizes individual areas of the concept, terms that are inherently associated with inteligent cities, and the topic of implementing smart cities in the Czech Republic. The practical part includes an analysis of the current level of implementation of the Smart City concept projects in Moravský Krumlov. Based on the results, possibilities for further development were proposed with regard to the city's development strategy.
Construct a methodology for creating a digital lecturer platform

This thesis is devoted to mapping and analysing the current situation of digital lecturer platforms in the Czech Republic and the rules for lectures that educate adults. It offers a brief insight into the subject of adult education, mentions the current legislative situation about adult education in the Czech Republic, offers a concise example of embedding adult education in the entire educational system in Norway, deals with the creation and use of information and communication technologies in education and, above all, the personality of the adult educator. The introductory parts of the thesis provide an overview of the things that are related to adult education and somehow influence it, which leads to an awareness of the complexity and overall difficulty of preparing, implementing, and evaluating such an event. The methodology defines the place where the client could choose a lecturer for the education event. The platform offers a place to search for educational courses, evaluate quality, enter a request for and personalised event, or request a development plan. The role of the teaching assistant in distance learning

The aim of this diploma thesis is to find out what functions teaching assistants facilitated during distance learning. The thesis is divided into two parts: a theoretical and a practical one. The theoretical part is based on the contemporary literature and focuses on two key concepts required for it - the teaching assistant and the distance learning. The first chapter is devoted to a subject of the teaching assistant and focuses on the historical development of this profession in the Czech republic, the teaching assistant in inclusive education, his/her prerequisites and the scope of work. The end of the first chapter is dedicated to cooperation and communication of the teaching assistant with teachers and legal representatives of pupils with special educational needs. The second chapter of the theoretical part is focused on distance learning, its historical development, specifics and e-learning. The end of this chapter and the entire theoretical part addresses the distance learning as a phenomenon of the Coronavirus period. The practical part is based on a quantitative research, which uses a method of questioning. The aim of the practical part is to identify different roles and activities of the teaching assistants during the distance learning.
Digital divides in aspect of gender

This diploma thesis Digital gender gap deals with the issue of the digital divide in connection with one of the aspect that can affect it. The thesis outlines the concept of the digital divide as a problem of modern globalized society and presents the basic theories for understanding the issue. The digital divide is related to several social factors that are outlined in this work, but the main focus is on the gender aspect. Even in the modern world, it is not possible to completely close the gap in this context just yet. Thus, the characteristics of the problem in connection with the gender factor are outlined. Today, rather than the problem of the primary digital divide, it is the problem of unequal skills and the way in which information and communication technologies are used in our society is being talked about. After defining the basic concepts and this phenomenon, the work presents several foreign studies to create a comprehensive overview of the issue and also data from the Český statistický úřad are presented. The second part of this work is a methodological part, which was inspired by foreign study from 2014, which monitors the digital literacy of respondents.
