Activation of sponsoring in softball club in Prague

Title: Activation of sponsorship in softball club in Prague Objectives: The aim of this work is to activate sponsorship in a softball club in Prague by creating four personalised sponsoring offers for the preselected companies. These offers will be created based on analysis of current state of the club sponsorship and possible benefits the club could offer. Methods: The paper will use qualitative research methods. Firstly, the paper will be focused on analysis of the current state of sponsorship in the club using a qualitative interview with the general manager of the club and short interviews with the current sponsoring companies about their satisfaction. Afterwards, a list of possible benefits for the sponsors will be provided using data from an interview with a sponsoring specialist and the interviews with sponsors. Based on the list and the information collected during the interviews the personalised sponsorship offers will be designed. Results: Results from the executed research and the analysis of current state of the sponsorship in the club provided starting points for the creation of personalised sponsorship activation offers for chosen companies. Circumstances for drop out of youth in chosen ice hockey club

Title: Circumstances for drop out of youth in chosen ice hockey club Objectives: The main objective of this thesis is to find out the main reasons that led to the players leaving the selected hockey club. The case study focuses on all players aged 15 to 20 who have left the club in the last five years. Methods: A combination of quantitative and qualitative methods was used in this work. Specifically, electronic questionnaires and semi-structured interviews were used to collect data. Individual questions were developed based on existing studies that address this issue as well as the supervisor's expert advice. Results: The main reason for players leaving the club was insufficient technical facilities. The least important reasons were serious injuries, which prevented the continuation of sports activities and interest in other sports. Of the ten most important reasons, six are intrapersonal, two interpersonal and two structural. Title: Comparison of sports systems in the Czech Republic and Finland Objectives: The main goal of the thesis is to compare sports systems in the Czech Republic and Finland based on eight specified aspects. Methods: Analysis of secondary documents, primarily documents issued by ministries and sports associations, and the comparative method were the two main methods used for the thesis. Results: The thesis revealed significant differences between the sports systems in the Czech Republic and Finland. The differences were found primarily in budget allocation, talent development and sports funding. The Finnish sports system is more advanced in most of the analysed aspects. Financial demands in preparation of tennis players from various performance levels

Title: Financial demands in preparation of tennis players from various performance levels. Objectives: The aim of this work is to find out a financial demands in preparation of tennis players from various performance levels. Methods: In this thesis was used a quantitative and qualitative methods. The main method, who was used, was a questionnaire survey, which was conducted electronically with parents of children who play tennis and are registered under the Czech Tennis Association. The quantitative method was supplemented by interviews with the parents of children from selected tennis clubs. Results: The results show that the financial demands in preparation of tennis players are significantly higher for players who are in the top 100 of the national ranking. Among the remaining players of the republic ranking, the differences are no longer too significant. It was alsou found that the financial demands in preparation of tennis players vary depending on their age category. The most finncially demanding preparation is in the category under 18 and category under 12 is right next to it. In the category under 14, the preparation costs are a bit lower. Title: Use of grants for development of the field hockey sports club Slavia Praha Objectives: The main purpose of this thesis was to set up preferred goals for the field hockey sports club Slavia Praha to ensure its successfull development, with an emphasis on the use of grants provided by the City of Prague. Another goal is to create a list of available grant programs for sports clubs in Prague. Methods: Two analysis methods were applied in this study. The first one was based on the analysis of the documents related to the application for available grants. Thanks to this method the overview of the available grants opportunities was created. The second method was SWOT analysis regarding the field hockey sports club Slavia Praha which contributed to the setting up of new partial and strategic task for the positive development of the club. Results: The field hockey sports club in Prague, which own or long term lease the sports real properties, can apply to the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports for grants. The other field hockey sports clubs can apply for grants of the Prague City Hall or its town disctricts. Title: Comparison of subsidies in sport and physical education in Pardubice and Hradec Kralove in 2014 Objectives: The main aim of this diploma thesis verifies the functioning of the redistribution mechanisms, which redistribute public funds in the sport field, as one of the areas to which funds from public budgets are directing. The partial aim of the thesis makes the financial expenditures and the structure in sport and physical education out of the public budgets in the Czech Republic in 2014 clear. Title: The role of the region in sport development - Case study of Liberec region Objectives: The main objective of this thesis is set to analyse the role of the region bodies of authority in sport development illustrated by a concrete example of the Liberec region. A partial objective is to describe and analyse tools of the regional sport policy and to analyse regional budget sport financing. Methods: There was used the case study design in the diploma thesis to find out the situation of sport policy in Liberec region. Informations were collected from the documents, which are available in public and from internal documents. For data collection there was also used a method of semi - structured interview. Content analysis of documents and interviews was used for the evaluation. Then the SWOT analysis was worked up. Results: In the thesis, the most important tools of the Liberec region sport policy were described. The regional budget was allocated to sport the most funds in 2008, when the amount exceeds 120 million CZK. This fact was affected by organizing international sport events in the Liberec region. Title: Funding of sport in the Czech Republic with application to the cycling environment Objectives: The main goal of this thesis is to analyze financial management of the Czech Cycling Federation followed with analysis of the gathered data, and revelation of its shortcomings along with a proposal of its operational improvements. Methods: Methods of Qualitative character were used in this thesis; methods of descriptive analysis and an interview. Descriptive analysis was used to evaluate the technical literature for this issue, the Ministry of education, youth and sports materials, and internal documents of the Czech Cycling Federation. The fundamental data was acquired through informal interviews and interviews from a predefined outline with the main officers of the Czech Cycling Federation. Results: The thesis describes the system of financing of sport, with a focus on cycling. It dissects the activity of the federation and redistribution of available funds. The last part contains a recommendation for creating a marketing department to help facilitate communication between sponsors, management of private funds and ensure the increasing popularity of the sport. Financial support of sport in the town Louny

Title: Financial support of sport by the town of Louny Objectives: The main aim of the thesis is to provide a comprehensive overview of the financing and organization of sport in Louny, with greater emphasis on the financing of sport by the town of Louny. Another object is to find out, what the leaders of sports organizations in the town think about the financial support by the town of Louny. Methods: In this thesis a method of descriptive analysis and interview was used. Descriptive analysis was applied to evaluate the internal materials of the Municipal Office Louny. Information in these materials was supplemented by informal interviews with staff of the Municipal Office Louny. Structured interviews were conducted with the representatives of sports organizations in Louny in order to assess the financial support of sport by the town of Louny. Results: The thesis describes the organization of sport in the frame of the Municipal Office Louny, the methodology of allocating of financial support for sport and it displays specific sums of money intended for sport in Louny. Title: Current Issues promoting sport in Cerveny Kostelec Objectives: The aim of this document is to analyze and evaluate the current management of sport in Cerveny Kostelec. Attention is paid to the financing of sport activities and facilities. Part of this thesis is dedicated to providing an overview of sports facilities, their condition and a comparison with urban standards. Further parts are dedicated to analyzing current funding of sport in the community, analyzing the financing of sport in other towns and a new possible funding of sport in the town. Methods: This is a case study which is based on an analysis of primary and secondary data about Cerveny Kostelec and similar towns. Secondary data was collected from the information available on the Internet and internal town documents. The primary data was obtained from interviews with the people who deal with this issue. To evaluate the information obtained, descriptive, contextual and comparative analysis was used. Results: There is a complete list of sports facilities in the observed community. It was also found that the total area for sports in Cerveny Kostelec is sufficient, but the sub-area for school PE is small when compared with urban standards.
