Specifické poruchy učení u žáků středních škol
Křivánková, Sára
The bachelor's thesis deals with the education of pupils with special learning disabilities in secondary schools. The theoretical part consists of the definition of terminology and clarification of individual learning disorders. It also includes diagnosis and re-education of specific learning disabilities. The theoretical part is processed on the basis of information from professional sources on the studied issue. The practical part consists of an exploratory investigation focused on individuals with a specific learning disability. It uses a qualitative approach and contains the elaboration of three case studies. The exploratory investigation is based on the method of semi-structured in-depth interview and observation. The survey also draws on individual documents of the respondent, such as an individual educational plan or recommendations from pedagogical and psychological counselling services. The main goal is to find out how students with a specific learning disability manage the demands of their studies. Another area of interest is finding out what helps students in their studies and what, on the contrary, burdens them. We also find out how do teachers help them and how do they perceive their specific learning disability. Furthermore we examined what are the pupils' relationships with their classmates and how did they perceive the transition from primary to secondary school.
Validation of the Developmental Coordination Disorder Questionnaire for children aged 6 -10 years in the Czech Republic
Vlasáková, Nikol ; Čepička, Ladislav (advisor) ; Dvořáková, Hana (referee) ; Mess, Filip (referee)
Problem: A specific developmental disorder of motor function affects up to one in 12 people. Neither the prevalence of DCD nor its diagnosis is completely uniform. According to some authors, even given the difficulty of existing tests and test batteries, a "gold standard" for diagnosing DCD is still being sought that would most effectively diagnose its prevalence. In Canada, a standardized screening method, the Developmental Coordination Disorder Questionnaire (DCDQ), has been developed as an auxiliary diagnostic tool to help detect DCD in children. It is an exploratory method that uses a questionnaire technique designed primarily for parents and teachers of children to diagnose the prevalence of this disorder. We believe that by using the DCDQ questionnaire, which according to Schoemaker is a "coarse screen" in identifying children with DCD, we will single out children with DCD and suspected DCD. Studies emphasize the importance of early identification of children with developmental coordination disorder (DCD), not only as a prevention of secondary academic, emotional, and social manifestations of the disorder. The questionnaire allows screening of children with motor difficulties. The DCDQ has not been validated in the Czech Republic and this is the aim of this study so that it can be used for the...

This bachelor thesis focuses on the subject of difficulties with specific learning disabilities. The goal is to find out the opinions on teachers with learning disabilities. Thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part focuses on the definition of specific learning disabilities and it´s division, expression and opportunities of education for children, adolescents and adults. A fundamental thing here is the chapter on specific learning disabilities at university, where the problems and possible reeducation at university are described. The goal of the practical part is to find out the opinions of students, who studies teaching, on teachers with learning disabilities. For the survey I apply quantitative research – query methods – questionnaire method. The respondents of the survey are university students of teaching education. The results are evaluated using descriptive statistics.

Vítová, Hana
The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to discuss the issue of specific learning disabilities, with primary focus on upper secondary school students and their education. The theoretical part provides clarification of the individual disabilities as well as their classification into categories. The important factors leading to the development of learning disabilities at young age are explained in this part of thesis. Particular emphasis is placed on the methods of diagnostics of individual learning difficulties, on investigation of re- educational activities and remedial measures. The question of appropriate assessment of students with specific disorders is discussed in depth. In addition, the current system of professional counselling for students with specific learning needs and the forms of individual learning plans already put in praxis will be introduced. The theoretical part will be based on using of scientific methods of primary and secondary sources´analysis and synhesis. The qualitative research conducted on the upper secondary schools located in the South Moravian region will constitute the empirical part of the thesis. School surveys will be distributed to sample teachers with the aim to gather data related to the practical aspects of education. The main focus will be put on collecting opionions, practical approaches and values held by teachers concerning working with students facing learning disabilities. The outcome of the research will be a set of comprehensive recommendations to improve pedagogical work and to increase learning opportunities for young people with learing difficulties.

Mielniková, Renáta ; Housarová, Blanka (advisor) ; Štěpáníková, Alena (referee)
Final work "Interaction between speech and motion of a schoolgirl with developmental dysphasia" is focusing on finding in which way are speech and movement skill interacting specifically in the case of a school-girl with serious developmental dysphasia. In its theoretical part I'm focusing at first on the term disturbed communication ability, development dysphasia, its symptomatology and then at the term verbal development dyspraxia. Important information concerning this dilemma are also listed in second chapter which focuses on the problem of reading, process of mastering of reading and writing with understanding. The third chapter of the theoretical part is focusing on characteristics of terms as movement, motoric acts, coordination and also dyspraxia. I based the practical part on testing of children of the third grade at usual basic school as well as at the basic logopaedia school, which is attended also by the school-girl with serious development dysphasia I've been observing and monitoring. I created two different tests. First about reading with understanding and then second one about movement abilities. Their goal was to find in which way are reading and movement abilities interacting. In the end of my work I'm summarizing all the gathered findings, I'm also comparing results of testing...
Assessment of motor activity in children with autism by inertial sensors - Method of measurement and its utilization in diagnostic
Nývltová, Lucie ; Komárek, Vladimír (advisor) ; Zounková, Irena (referee)
Autism belongs to developmental pervasive disorders. Primary symptoms of autism include failure in communication, social interaction and imagination. Other symptoms are abnormalities in physical activity manifested by delays in motor development, stereotyped movements, postural instability, impaired in imitation and dyspraxia. These symptoms already come up in the first years of life. The first diagnosis of autism used to be made between 2nd and 3rd year of life, however if the diagnosis could be based on physical symptoms, it would be possible to establish the diagnosis earlier. The work presents a method of measurement by inertial sensors that could be used to assess physical activity of autistic children.

Bibliographic identification NOVOTNÁ, Anna. Comparison of level of motor skills in competition and fitness swimming children. Prague: Charles University, 2nd Faculty of Medicine, Department of Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine, 2021. 92 p. Supervisor MUDr. Josef Kraus, CSc. Abstract The theoretical part of this thesis provides an overview of the knowledge about the developmental coordination disease (DCD), its relationship to physical activities and findings concerning swimming styles with emphasis on the freestyle stroke. The practical part summarizes and evaluates the results of the MABC-2 test, the d2 attention test as well as the survey that have all been performed on a group of swimmers from the TJ Slovan Karlovy Vary swimming club. Another aim was to compare adherence to physical activity as well as participation in such activities between the groups. The last goal was to compare the correlation between the observed level of motor skills and the current level of attention. The level of motor skills differed between the competitive swimmers and the leisure swimmers groups. Both groups of swimming children demonstrated worse...
