Information system audit in a wholesale company

The thesis deals with information system audit in a company. The main goal is to compile the final report of information system audit in the small company which is engaged in wholesale distribution of goods. The necessary elements for the fulfillment of the main goal are collecting knowledges about available methods and procedures of auditing, planning and processing the audit. The final audit report contains a number of identified deficiencies with recommendations for their elimination. The benefit of this thesis is a list of these recommendations that could be applied by the company to get the working processes more effective.

This master's thesis deals with modeling of processes of the selected framework for complex management of business informatics using ARIS Designer tool. The reader is introduced into problematics of process approach to business management and process modeling. The next part of this master's thesis introduces some notations and approaches to process modeling and then closer describes the ARIS methodics and tools. The next part of this document focuses on a few frameworks for business IT management and closer describes the ITIL framework and its processes. The second half of this master's thesis describes creation of the model of ITIL framework processes.
ITIL and COBIT Implementation in ARIS Toolset

This master's thesis explores the topic of guidance for the COBIT framework and ITIL library in the context of business process management. It encompasses various process modelling languages and diagrams for companies active in information and communication technologies. Through the selected ARIS tool set and the mapping of all 64 processes, the establishment of individual processes can now be achieved, which is explained by modelling a total of 101 diagrams. The thesis also contains an example of process deployment for a selected company, which is accompanied by an implementation of a dashboard application that monitors the ticket flow of service operation processes.

Security and Risk Analysis in Practice

This thesis describes issues of risk analysis and security of company assets. Theoretical part of the thesis looks into the terminology of the topic with closer familiarization of procedures that are commonly used in risk analysis solutions and in company information security. Practical part of the thesis is focused on application of risk analysis using ISO/IEC 27005 methods on a concrete company, which is focused on distribution and consultation in the field of audio and video technology business. In risk analysis qualitative methods of valuation are used. An output of the analysis could be seen in added annex. The output of this thesis should be a treatment that shall prevent creation of risks, which had been found in previously defined area. Scope of the study is focused on purchase and sale.
A proposal of controls for identity and access management system

Nowadays, the focus of IT security is increasingly concerned with the safety of the identities of employees and users of information systems. This phenomenon is even more compounded by the rapidly growing number of cloud services. This thesis briefly explains the basic concepts of access control and identity management. The thesis also contains identification of requirements and implications of risks on identity and access management system. The main objective is the general design of controls for identity and access management system, which has been designed to match legislative requirements, regulations, standards or frameworks commonly used in enterprise IT practice. For describing of the controls, mainly Cobit framework and IT Assurance Guide were used. The thesis also contains a suggestion how to adjust proposed controls in a cloud environment.
