Cultural heritage education in selected programmes of the Archeoskanzen Březno

The thesis focuses on the development of a concrete proposal for categorizing the objectives of the activities that take place within the educational program of the Archeoskanzen Březno Living Prehistory. This proposal is preceded by the definition of those areas of pedagogy in which we classify museums in general and the educational programmes of archaeoskanzens in particular. An integral part of this work is also a general categorisation of educational objectives in terms of the framework educational programmes, their cross-cutting themes and educational areas, and in terms of taxonomies of objectives. In the proposed categorization of objectives, the objectives from these areas are categorized and defined in order to make the educational programs of the institution clearer for primary school teachers and to set appropriate conditions for the evaluation of these programs in the context of regular teaching. The thesis also includes an analysis of the submitted proposal, which was created in order to further clarify the expected objectives of the educational programs and to find areas with the potential to improve or increase the educational impact of the educational programs on primary school students.
Financial literacy on high schools

The bachelor thesis will introduce the basic concepts which related to financial literacy. At the same time, I will try to outline the current state of how this topic is discussed in the secondary schools. In the practical part, it will be made several worksheets and materials for lessons which will include financial literacy targed. At the same time, this material will be given for assessment by teachers who could realize financial literacy in their subjects. The method of semi-structured interview will be used as the main method of my research.
The impact of social disadvantaged family on children school education

The bachelor thesis entitled The influence of socially disadvantaged family background for education of children focuses on the possibilities and access of these children to education. One of the most important factors in this area is the family, where the child was born and its attitude to education. There are specified parental duties, which according the law, are connected to education and also the importance of pre-school education. The thesis also deals with other factors, which influence the issue, such as economical situation of family, lack of quality accommodation or cultural, language or ethnical differences. The casuistries in the empirical part describe the chosen problems.
Educating about financial literacy at primary schools

This master's thesis focuses on the teaching of financial literacy at lower secondary schools in the Czech Republic. The main goal was to characterize and evaluate a selection of internet based programs that specialize in financial literacy in order to gain insight on how the users view the issue at hand and how they interact with these programs. The thesis employs a qualitative research method. The first section is devoted to the theoretical introduction to finance, its definition, characteristics and the components of financial literacy. A special focus was also put on the development of financial literacy in the Czech Republic and the main documents in which it is grounded. The need for implementation of financial literacy into secondary schools' curriculums was based on surveys about the level of financial literacy among students and public. The practical part of this thesis consists of two closely interrelated sections. Firstly, it outlines and examines three different online programs created to help teachers design their financial literacy courses more effectively. Secondly, the thesis presents a methodological research using structured interviews with open questions and concludes by demonstrating the results. In my thesis, I aim to analyze the representation of body in the Czech scholarly texts dealing with physical education published in the early 20th century in the journal Výchova tělesná. I work on the anthropological assumption that understanding and interpretation of body changes along with the historical, social, cultural and ideological contexts. There are many areas of knowledge that define the correctness and naturalness of a physical appearance, behavior and conduct. The theory of school physical education, which since the 2nd half of the 19th century prescribes norms of physical fitness as a prerequisite for success in the national, economic and social life, is one of those areas. The interpretation starts with the analysis of descriptions of physical exercises, which is the most original part of discourse of the physical education, and analysis of texts that thematise the body in relation to mind. At this level, I explain what meanings are related to a pre-understanding of the body. In the second, principal part of the thesis, I interpret the process of construction of norms of appropriate body and show what techniques are required to implement them and how they are legitimized. Czech and French concept of swimming lessons in school

Title: Czech and French concept of swimming lessons in school. Objectives: The objective of the study is to provide basic information about the concepts and management of swimming training at elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, universities and clubs in France. At the same time, use available resources to outline the functioning of swimming lessons in the Czech Republic and compare both of these systems. Methods: The method of analysis and synthesis was used to process the collected information. The obtained information about the Czech and French concept of swimming lessons in schools and clubs was subsequently compared. Results: Based on a comparison of the concepts of both countries, we found that these systems differ significantly. Although under the auspices of the same body, in France the Ministry of Education has much greater competence and the result is a very well-organized concept of swimming instruction. In comparison with the Czech Republic, it then appears that no institution managing the function is properly performed and significant shortcomings are found in the organization of swimming lessons within compulsory school attendance. In its first part, I will compare formal and informal education. I will look for similarity and difference and, above all, the contribution of non- formal education to formal education. Specifically, I will focus on the non-profit organization The Woodcraft League. At the end of this part, I will compare the formal education and lifelong education of the examined children's organization. The practical part is specifically focused on the village school and the children's tribe that I lead. Using the observation method and interviews with teachers and pupils visiting the examined club, I will look for the benefit of the children's tribe for pupils in the village elementary school. Apart from that, I organize thematic units at school that expect the possibility of using out-of.school experiences of children in school education. The Education of Athletically Gifted Students

My thesis focuses on the subject of 'education of athletically talented students' on a theoretical and empirical level. The theoretical part describes 'talent' on a general basis followed by a specific description of a 'sporting talent'. It considers the conditions of education of talented students without a particular focus and subsequently discusses the subject of school education of athletically talented students. It introduces the specific aspects of an athlete as a pupil, the factors that influence his/her educational path and the problem of 'dual career'. It also characterizes the conditions of education of athletes in Europe and the system of education in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part is the resource for conducting the empirical part, where the results show how athletes themselves describe and evaluate the conditions of school education. The reaserch of investigated topic whilst using thorough interviews concludes the way athletes perceive this issue.
Financial Education and its Position in School Education

This Master's thesis deals with financial education and its place in school education. The thesis is separated into four main parts. The first chapter defines the concept of financial literacy, historical evolution of financial education in pedagogical reflection and factors affecting individuals in the process of financial education. The second chapter deals with the place of financial education in school education, which is an analysis of selected education policy documents of the Czech Republic and the activities of the actors involved in the development of financial literacy of the population of the Czech Republic. The theme of the third chapter is defining areas of financial education in school education in the private sector. The fourth chapter discusses the role of the teacher in the process of financial education and presents some recommendations.
