Relationships among children of younger school age

v anglickém jazyce This thesis focuses on relationships among school age children and particularly among a class of 3rd graders. The first section of the thesis examines characteristics of individual growing and evolving profiles of eight year old children. The second part of the thesis describes the attributes of a small social group, its social positioning, structures and social roles. The final section of the paper deals with the methods, diagnosis of social positions especially among friends and a description of the research itself. The goal of this thesis is to provide an analysis of the relationships, positions and social status of a particular group of children, including research results and final summary. Music Therapy with pre-school children

Following study is about music therapy processes within group of preschoolers attending music therapy sessions. The study is directed on group dynamics processes in small group. The main research question is: "Which phenomenons occur in group dynamic process of group integrity and group de-integrity?" these concepts of deintegrity and integrity are linked theoretically with concept of cohesion and tension. The concept of cohesion and tension leads the group into two group states. The first one can be characterized as "cohesiveness" and the following is characterized as "moving apart". The results of study outline what kinds of factors can be found for cohesion and tension for small group of preschoolers in music therapy sessions.

Analysis of the causes of school suspension in the regional investigation context

The purpose of this thesis was to identify the most common causes of school suspension within a regional survey in comparison with the views of parents, elementary and kindergarten teachers. In connection with this theme the author dealt with pre-school child characteristics focusing on school maturity diagnosis and school suspension problematics. The main reasearch was realised i Pedagogical-psychological advice centre in Kladno in 3 selected years ranging from 1999 to 2010. The method of analysis has been used to collect the data. A survey in a form of an anonymous questionnaire clearified opinions of selected respondents. On the basis of this observation a casuistry of a school suspended child with specific needs has been made. This casuistry demonstrates further development of a child after starting it's school attendence. Submitted results of the thesis confirmed the opinions of experts in this field as well as conclusions of researches focusing on school suspension issues. It has been found out, that the most common causes of school suspension in the examined lokality are the issues of speech, visual and hearing perception, graphmotorics and school work maturity. Stimulative program focused on a development of communicative skills of preschool children

This bachelor thesis is focused on issue of communicative competence in relation with readiness of preschool children. The content of the theoretical part explains the basic terms on the field of communication and similar areas as language, speech, verbal and nonverbal communication etc., following by the topic of influence of speech on a development of thinking and satisfaction of the basic children needs. The influence of social environment on communicative competence is the issue of the third chapter and in subchapters, there are information concerning a readiness of preschool children and the General educational program, which defines aims and resources in the area of personal development depending on institutional education. The empirical part of the bachelor thesis contains a suggestion of the special stimulative program for communicative skills development and its following realization in the Petrklíč kindergarten, where only those children, who met the specific criteria (age and communication problems), joined the project. With their help, it was possible to completely assess the effectivity and meaningfulness of the above-mentioned program.

Use of experiential pedagogic methods in systematic work with pupil's group The goal of this paper was to create and realize a supportive stimulative program for a group of elementary students with specific learning disabilities focused on support of positive self-concept and self-evaluation, which have been decreased in case of school unsuccessfulness and on development of student's social ability. The supportive and stimulating program comes from theoretical findings in the area of experiential education, social psychology and psychology of personality.
