The Contemporary Family and the Moral Development of Pre-School Children
Veselá, Jana ; Havlová, Jana (advisor) ; Kropáčková, Jana (referee)
The dissertation focuses on contemporary family and on development of pre-school child as regards teaching moral values. It observes undergoing changes in family environment and their influence on raising a child after epochal democratic changes in society. It focuses on examining and finding differences in two distinct groups of families (agnostic and worshipping) in the Czech Republic. Several years of practice and experience in both traditional and clerical nursery schools are also reflected in the dissertation. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Tracking the Wintering Places of Long-Eared Owls and Their Feeding
Veselá, Jana ; Řezníček, Jan (advisor) ; Andreska, Jan (referee)
This graduation theses is focused on research winter roosting sites of the Long-eared Owls in some Czech and Moravian sites, on possibilities of the prey choice and their way of life. The chapter also processes the information about feeding habit of the Long - eared Owl in the above mentioned locations, which is analyzed and compared with previous studies. There is a part which targets the methods of the pellets analysis with regard to a variance in different locations. There is also a review and per cent figures of the small mammal species in pellets, which where found by analysis. Small mammals identification key is a part of this work. This key identification was used in the school lessons during the presentation of this subject matter. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Phylogenetic, morphological and ecological context of microevolution in pennate diatoms
Veselá, Jana ; Neustupa, Jiří (advisor) ; Řeháková, Klára (referee) ; Vanormelingen, Pieter (referee)
Visual assessment of discontinuities in the morphological features of diatom cells has been widely used in the discovery and delimitation of diatom species. However, a multidisciplinary approach to species-level taxonomy has revealed hidden diversity within the traditional diatom morphospecies. Consequently, this work examined both the natural and clonal populations of diatoms by diverse traditional and modern approaches, in order to assess the diversity, ecology, and distribution of diatom species. Although a detailed investigation of natural diatom samples was confounded by uncertain morphological boundaries between the traditional diatom species, it recognized that the diversity was relatively high; even one new diatom species was described using the morphological species concept. The multivariate statistical analyses showed that the variation of natural communities of traditional diatom morphospecies reflected differences in the local environmental conditions, as well as microhabitat heterogenity within a region. Since each diatom morphospecies is most likely a complex of sibling species, the two model traditional morphospecies were investigated, in order to assess morphological variation, genetic diversity, and/or the reproductive compatibility of monoclonal cultures. Even though isolated...
The attitude of the Generation Z to the "indoorisation of outdoor sports"
Veselá, Jana ; Voráček, Josef (advisor) ; Opelík, Daniel (referee)
Title: The attitude of the Generation Z to the "indoorization of outdoor sports" Objectives: The main aim of my bachelor thesis is to clarify the attitude of the generation Z to the growing offer of outdoor sports in artificial, safe, and controlled conditions. Clarification of attitudes would lead to a better understanding of the wishes and preferences of the various participants belonging to the generation Z. Methods: The thesis uses the method of quantitative research, namely electronic questioning, which aims to determine the attitudes and motivation of at least 150 respondents, belonging to the Z generation. The set of respondents was thus determined by a partially influenced selection. Results: The result of the thesis can generally be formulated so that generation Z has a positive attitude to the indoorization of outdoor (lifestyle) sports. Generation Z appreciates the characteristics of both the indoor world and the natural environment. However, we can observe the tendency to prioritize indoor centres mainly on the basis of practical reasons, such as time and distance availability, better training efficiency, or the possibility of sports all year round, even in bad weather. The results showed that the respondents representing the generation Z are more active in an indoor environment in...
Coxarthrosis therapy through posture optimalization
Krausová, Eliška ; Veselá, Jana (advisor) ; Valouchová, Petra (referee)
v anglickém jazyce This thesis strives to find relationship between human posture and the origin and progression of coxarthrosis. The main idea is built on the fact that the degenerative joint disease often arises on the basis of the chronical overload in the functional decentered position. The theoretical section is focused on trunk and hip muscles coordination that is defined in the ontogenesis. Moreover, the information about joint loading and stabilization is mentioned. The practical part consists of two case studies, which are observing subjective and objective changes after therapy. There are no local techniques in this therapy.
Study of Electric and Thermal Properties of Building Materials with Conductive Additives
Veselá, Jana ; Krouská, Jitka (referee) ; Zmeškal, Oldřich (advisor)
This work focuses on study of electric, dielectric and thermal properties of composite electrically conductive building materials composed of magnesium oxychloride cement and small amount of graphene and graphite admixtures. The aim of this work was to determine thermal properties of materials and create a model of electric current conduction mechanism in material. Electric and dielectric properties were determined with using of transient direct current measurement of resistivity and impedance spectroscopy. Thermal properties were investigated using transient step-wise method and fractal analysis of thermocamera data. Electrical resistivities of materials are determined from the direct current measurements. Model of transport of electrical charge carriers was evaluated by fitting impedance data to an equivalent electrical circuit model. Thermal conductivities and thermal capacities were determined by means of thermal measurements. The presented properties for example can be used for assessment of suitability for specific construction applications.
Strategies for Ensuring OSH of Employees in Emergency Events
Velcová, Karolína ; Veselá, Jana Holá (referee) ; Popelová, Barbora (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on the issue of occupational safety and health on case of emergency. The analysis of the current state in the area of potential risk of selected emergencies was performed. The attention was focused mainly on the current epidemiological situation, specifically on the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic and employees work in the office. The questionnaire survey was conducted, the results of which served as a basis of risk analysis by selected methods. Based on the obtained results, measures were proposed incl. financial evaluation.
Use of spectral analysis for the treatment of paroxysmal or persistent atrial fibrillation
Veselá, Jana ; Rosina, Jozef (advisor) ; Hána, Karel (referee) ; Vančura, Vlastimil (referee)
Introduction: Atrial fibrillation is most common sustained cardiac arrhythmia characterized by rapid, unorganized atrial electrical activation. Its incidence in- creases with age and comorbidities. The presence of AF has been demonstrated to be independently associated with increased morbidity and mortality. The tre- atment of AF remains challenging. The aim of the present work is to use the analysis of heart rate variability in prediction of AF occurrence, and during tre- atment procedures of AF for better understanding of physiology of AF. Results of time-, frequency- and non-linear analyses were used in two present studies. The first study was study of patients undergoing hybrid ablation of atrial fib- rillation. Hybrid ablation consists of surgical epicardial thoracoscopic procedure, followed by electrophysiological catheter ablation. The second part is done 1-3 months after the surgical part. The aim was to establish the coincidental damage of ganglionated plex during the first, surgical procedure, using the analysis of heart rate variability during the electrophysiological procedure. The aim of the second study was the prediction of post-operative AF in pa- tients undergoing open-chest cardiac surgery, using the pre-operative heart rate variability analysis. Methods: Study 1: Patients with...
