(in English): The assessment is an important part of the educational process. When assessing pupils, it is essential that the teacher uses correct and appropriate methods to develop the individuality of the pupil. Self-assessment should not be forgotten as it helps to the pupil to develop a healthy self-esteem and a healthy perception of himself/herself. In a after-school club, where the groups of children are diverse in terms of age and gender, assessment are used differently. The educator, like the teacher, is a role model for a the pupil regard to assessment. The educator's assessment is equally important as assessment of a teacher. This thesis focuses on the types, methods, and forms of assessment within after-school club. It is divided into theoretical and research part. The theoretical part first of all describes after-school club as an school facility, The functions and activities of after-school club are mentioned there. The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on home education of second grade primary school pupils

The Master's thesis is based on a topical subject, which is education and distance learning at a time when schooling in the Czech Republic was restricted due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The thesis specifically focuses on upper primary school pupils who have often had to be educated individually at home through distance education. The theoretical part of the introduction focuses on second grade students and their developmental specificities. It then focuses on general information regarding the Covid-19 pandemic and it is impact on the school environment, the differences between teaching in a regular school setting and teaching during a pandemic. Then also on distance education as such and learning with the help of modern, simultaneously used technologies, advantages and disadvantages of distance education. The research section includes research on the influence of home preparation of upper primary school students on home-based distance learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The aim is to find out under what conditions, in what environment and whether the majority of pupils are capable of independent school preparation without school-based support.
Distance learning from the perspective of primary school pupils

Kristýna Schusserová, Distanční výuka z pohledu žáků 1. stupně Abstract The diploma thesis deals with the current problem of distance education for pupils in the first grade of primary school. The main focus of this thesis is on the pupils' own evaluation of distance education during the period of the Covid-19 pandemic. The theoretical part of the thesis characterizes both the period of the Covid-19 pandemic and the impact of the existence of this virus on the acceptance of restrictions within the school curriculum. Thus, the basic principles of distance education (teaching) are also described in the next part of the thesis. Different aspects of distance education are studied, including the history, characteristics, forms, advantages and disadvantages of distance education. The practical part consists of a research on the opinions of the pupils themselves of the first grade of primary school in two different schools. The aim of the thesis is to identify the advantages and disadvantages and to evaluate the pupils of distance education as direct participants.
Possibilities of Children's Reading Development in the Context of the Cultural Mission of the School

(in English) The diploma thesis deals with contemporary children's reading as one of the ways of cultural mission of the school and the possibilities of development of children's reading. The theoretical part shows the school as an environment for cultural and value education, points out the importance of transmitting the values of society and cultural heritage. In the context of reading, it discusses the factors influencing children's reading. It highlights the influence of the family, the school environment or the personality of teachers and ways of motivating reading, as well as the influence of peer groups and modern technology. It provides an overview of current book projects, annual reading awards in the field of children's literature, and presents the results of selected current research on reading and literacy. This diploma thesis is conceived as a theoretical-empirical thesis. For the empirical part, a qualitative research strategy using structured interviews is chosen. The empirical investigation is aimed at finding out the opinion of pedagogical staff and the informed public of Dobříš region on selected aspects of contemporary children's reading. (in English) The aim of the work was to find out what challenges teachers face in the 21st century and how they themselves perceive these challenges. The work describes the theoretical starting points in this area, which the teacher may perceive as challenges, and then these theoretical starting points were verified using empirical research in the practical part of the work. For the purposes of the research investigation, teachers were the main source, due to the chosen issue, I used a qualitative research method with the help of semi-structured interviews.
Elementary school approach to the theme of death and dying

This diploma thesis aims to describe the approaches elementary schools currently take regarding the topic of death and dying based on academic literature and current research studies. Furthermore, it provides an overview of legal documents which focus on teaching about death and demarcate the role of school in the instances of their pupils' significant losses. The thesis introduces a knowledge base necessary for covering the topic of death in elementary school. The thesis focuses both on teaching about death as well as dealing with situations associated with a death of a person in relation to school. The thesis also provides a design proposal for a teacher's course focusing on these topics based on the theoretical knowledge and the needs articulated in contemporary research studies.

Bachelor thesis "Possibilities and limits of inclusion from teacher's point of view" deals with inclusion in Czech schools. It defines the concept of inclusion education and examines the possibilities and limits of teachers profession performance. Thesis examines pupil inclusion rate with special educational needs in basic teaching. Thesis deals with avaliable support system for special educational needs pupil. Another part of this bachelor thesis is research "Teacher's view of inclusion". Through this research we find out teacher's point of view. The questionnaries reveal the opportunities that inclusive education opens up. On the other hand it puts some obstacles for teachers in educational process. Strategies for inclusive education in selected European countries

(in English): There are many attitudes towards inclusive education in society today, which are unfortunately in many cases based on unverified sources. Because of a misunderstanding of the term, people overlook its core values, which we all strive for in our hearts, namely to create a society that respects differences, in which everyone has the opportunity to develop their potential and foster quality relationships. In this thesis, space is devoted to the definition of the concept of inclusion and its theoretical foundations. The inclusive school is characterized including the cause and strategies for its implementation. Possible obstacles to this process are mentioned. Space is devoted to the attitudes of the pedagogical and non-educational environment, especially the presence of fears of inclusion. The research focuses on inclusive education strategies in selected European countries, looking at whether the vision of inclusion in education is being achieved and through what methods. The aim of this work is to make a comparison of these strategies. Passages from current inclusive strategy documents or reports of selected countries are analysed and interpreted. School Walks and Trips to Places of Interests in Kladno region on the First Grade of Elementary Schools

The aim of the diploma thesis is to create seven educational school walks in Kladno area, which can be used by first grade General Science and Natural History teachers. In the theoretical part, significant historical places in Kladno area are described and famous historical figures and personalities are mentioned. Fixing the topic in the Framework Educational Programme for Basic Education is included, as well as the theoretical worksheet making delimitation. School walks and worksheet templates should cover the educational dimension of Human and World, Human and Nature, Human and Society and, not least, Human and Health. Within the practical part, school walks will initially be made and subsequently implemented and reflected.
Education of the Scout Leaders

This thesis addresses the question of how and in what form a future Scout leader is educated. The theoretical part of the thesis presents the definition, function and meaning of leisure, leisure pedagogy as a science and institutions of leisure. Furthermore, it presents Scouting as an organization belonging to leisure activities, its importance and vision. It points out the organization Junák - český skaut, z.s. in terms of organizational structure, Scout educational methods and presents the competency model of the leader. Methods of Scout leader education reveal the personality of the Scout leader and the importance of the volunteer profession. The empirical part is developed in the form of qualitative research. Interviews with prospective Scout leaders is the first part, followed by a summary of information obtained through written interviews with a key staff member at Junák's headquarters who deals with education issues. Finally, the findings from the meeting with the graduates of the waiting course are summarised. .
