Processing of high-strength aluminum alloy EN AW 7075 using SLM technology
Skalický, Petr ; Hudák, Radovan (referee) ; Koutný, Daniel (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with processing of high strength aluminum alloy EN AW 7075 by Selective Laser Melting and verify the influence of process parameters on relative density and mechanical properties. The theoretical part contains an introduction to additive manufacturing of aluminum alloys, the influence of process parameters and description of processes occuring during SLM production. Based on the theoretical part were prepared experiments and method of evaluation. Samples were produced by melting metallurgical powder using ytterbium laser with a maximum output power of 400 W. This diploma thesis also describes the formation and growth of cracks inside the material, which so far in the literature for alloy EN AW 7075 were not described. As the result, the process parameters dependence on the relative density and an overview of this aluminum alloy processing by SLM technology is determined.
Review of materials used for the manufacturing by the Selective Laser Melting technology
Skalický, Petr ; Vrána, Radek (referee) ; Koukal, Ondřej (advisor)
This bachelor thesis aims to provide an overview of metallic materials (powders), which are used in the manufacture of parts and models with SLM (Selective Laser Melting) technology. It contains basic information about Rapid Prototyping (RP) technology and more detailed description of basic methods of RP, especially SLM. Next is a description of manufacture powders methods and its properties. The last section contains an overview of powdery materials as powders made of pure metal (one kind of metal material) and powders produced from metal alloys. This review focuses on the most important and most widely used materials for the manufacture of parts using SLM.
Normal pressure hydrocephalus- Complex approach to diagnosis and treatment
Skalický, Petr ; Bradáč, Ondřej (advisor) ; Haninec, Pavel (referee) ; Keller, Jiří (referee)
Normal pressure hydrocephalus (NPH) is an important part of the differential dia- gnosis of the causes of cognitive deficit, gait disorder and incontinence in elderly patients. This is especially true for idiopathic normal pressure hydrocephalus (iNPH), to which this thesis is dominantly devoted. A number of factors contribute to the course of the disease, therefore a comprehensive approach evaluating multiple variables accompanying the disease, comorbid diseases or considered diseases in the differential diagnosis, as well as a comprehensive approach to therapy, which contains much more than just the im- plantation of a derivation system for the drainage of cerebrospinal fluid, can improve, not only, the quality of life of these patients. The mainstay of the dissertation thesis are two first-author articles. The first study deals with morphological parameters obtained during MRI examination and their ability to predict improvement in gait after shunt implantation in iNPH patients. We evaluated the predictive performance of score for evaulating disproportionately enlarged subarachnoid space hydrocephalus (DESH score), callosal angle and cingulate sulcus sign against the reference standard in the form of functional testing - lumbar infusion test (LIT) and external lumbar drainage (ELD). In the...
Heritage evaluation of artistic stucco: The methodology deals with professional approaches to the conservation and restoration of artistic stucco, its value framework and theoretical problems of its restoration and presentation within the architectural context
Fiřt, Jan ; Kuneš, Petr ; Skalický, Petr
The methodology deals with professional approaches to the conservation and restoration of artistic stucco, its value framework and theoretical problems of its restoration and presentation within the architectural context. The introduction of the methodology presents the general characteristics of the stucco works care against the background of institutionalised monument care and describes the roles of involved persons in the process of preparing the concept of restoration intervention. In the following sections, the historical development of stucco in the European and Czech context is briefly outlined and a basic overview of the most common stucco techniques and materials is given. The next part of the methodology focuses on the survey procedures and methods used to characterise the work itself, its composition, techniques and materials, as well as to identify its damage, deterioration and secondary interventions, aimed at an overall assessment of the condition of the work. The core chapters of the methodology are devoted to the preparation of the restoration intervention, which is based on the monumental assessment of the specific work and the objectives of the intervention formulated in the given context. The preservation of the heritage values of the work is emphasised, but the legitimate perspectives of other stakeholders in the restoration process are also reflected. The final chapter of the methodology presents selected partial risks associated with older restoration inputs that are problematic from the point of view of today's monument care. The examples given, illustrated with photographs of real stucco works, deliberately depart from the context of complex and period-specific interventions and aim to present the risks associated with some of the existing approaches to restoring stucco monuments.

Medieval mural paintings in the Church of Saint Apollinaire at new city in Prague
Skalický, Petr ; Hlaváčková, Jana Hana (advisor) ; Royt, Jan (referee)
Chapter of St. Apollinaire was transfered to Prague from Sadská next to Nymburk town in 1364. Recent knowledge was showing that Karel IV. got an important role in fundation of that. I think, that there is a more important to highlight a role of Prague archbishops there. These mural paintings where perhaps ordered by the third prague arcibishop Johannes of Jensenstein, at least he was probably participating on it. He was probably the most important medieval latin writer in Bohemia. We also can recognise the original iconography of murral paitings in the church through his literary output. These paintings are not only ilustrations of his literary output. They are even a way how to thing about it. Their main idea is an united church with only head, Jesus Christ. His represetative was St. Peter and his followers from papst throne. The style of these paintings is created by painting style of workers from Karlstein castle. They are showing court painting style from the end of seventies and beginnig of eighties of 14. century as well. That's why we can say that they where done in the first half of eighties of 14. century. They are done in interim style. These paintings are the most inportant and the best done after court paitings (Karlstein castle, Na slovanech monastery and The Catedral).
