The Citizenship of the EU and the Roma as its Holders

The year 2013 is devoted to the idea of citizenship of the European Union with an emphasis on a reflection of its basement and meaning. The thesis The Citizenship of the EU and the Roma as its holders therefore explores a presumption of equality of the citizens that follows the definition of the citizenship on the examples connected to the Roma ethnic minority. Firstly, the thesis focuses on the citizenship in general and from the theoretical point of view. It analyses the definition of the citizenship of the EU, its relation to a national citizenship of the Member states, its development, and the rights of the citizens. In addition to this it also presents a professional debate analysing a concept of the European citizenship. The second part of this work is dedicated to the Roma directly. It shows the bonds of the Roma towards Europe through the history and the territory. More importantly it presents two cases that indicate a limitation of the EU citizenship rights for the Roma people. The first one discovers a structural discrimination of the citizens of the EU who do not have a residence in the Member state. Coaching as a leadership style

Diploma thesis Coaching as a leadership style discusses new approach of management in corporations. The perspective on ideal way to manage people has been changing from dehumanizing approach of management to more humane perspective, which takes into account the uniqueness of personalities, interpersonal relationships, needs and motivation. These changes are described in the beginning of the thesis. Then, author focuses on a new trend - the use of coaching skills in managing people in organizations. Based on interviews with managers and their direct subordinates, the current situation of implementing coaching as a leadership style in Czech corporations is shown. The necessary conditions, which need to be accomplished for successful implementation, are revealed. The corporate environment must be set up and manager as a role model must be created. Managers need to change themselves, they need to develop their personalities and learn coaching skills. Furthermore, the relationship between managers and their employees must be based on mutual trust and openness. Consequently, coaching as a leadership style has an impact on employees. Design of a Crash-Test Dummy

The main objective of this thesis is construction of crash test dummy for vehicle-pedestrian crash tests. There is review of nowadays used crash test dummies types in the introduction of this thesis. This is followed by part describing construction itself. Chapter about construction begins by characterizing of used materials features in relation with real human body physiology. Main part of chapter is describing construction of crash test dummy’s skeleton and its individual components including 3D modelling and strength analysis. Thesis is finished by cost assessment.

Acute stages in nephrology.

Kidneys have got lots of specific functions. Besides the blood pressure regulation, acid base balance and production of hormones (e.g. erythropoetin) kidneys discharge nitrogen substances out of the body. That is why the kidneys are necessary for maintenance of homeostasis. Healthy kiedneys' glomerular filtration rate (GFR) is about 120-130 ml/min. Kidney's failure comes if the GFR decreases under 20 ml/min. The acute renal failure (AFR) comes suddendly and in most cases it is reversible status. In these cases the kidneys are not able to maintain permanent state of inner environment not even of basal conditions . According to the causation the AFR is classified into pre- renal, renal and post-renal. In 5% of hospitalized patients the significant decrease of renal functions was discovered. In 20% of these cases the ARF occured. The heavy form of ARF develops predominantly at the patients with burn injuries and after trauma as a consequence of multiple organ failure (MOF). Presence of ARF increases the chance for dying. In accordance with the statistics of European Society of Nephrology 8% of patients die of single ARF while as compared with MOF it is almost about 70%. Corporate social responsibility and its influence on society

Bachelor thesis "Corporate social responsibility and its influence on society" deals with a form of responsibility in corporate behavior and its effect on surrounding world. A lot of new threats have come up these days because of still rising economic growth. That's why the traditional form of responsibility has to be changed. Corporations have started to implement concept of corporate social responsibility to their business strategies focused on wide spectrum of stakeholders. Thesis is based on qualitative research and presents corporate social responsibility itself and its role and position in society from different views of four groups of stakeholders. I chose these groups: corporations with strategic social responsibility, employees from corporations with and without the concept, nonprofit organizations and customers. Thesis deals with experience of the groups with corporate social responsibility, its influence on them and whether the concept is seen more like marketing strategy and PR or nonprofit helping and being responsible. The bachelor’s thesis, titled ‘Customer satisfaction analysis and recommendation for it´s improvement‘, deals with modern methods of customer satisfaction and service quality analysis. The first part of the thesis contains theoretical background about methods for data collection and analysis, customer satisfaction assessment and data evaluation. The second part, analytical one, is focused on characterisation of DPMB a.s. and investigation of it‘s current situation by questionnaire method. The third part makes use of the collected data and proposes new ways how to improve overall customer satisfaction.

The evaluation methodology operating status of cranes

The main theme of this bachelor's thesis is to design a procedure for the evaluation of the operating status of warehouse and workshop cranes. This methodology was tested in practice. This document also contains an overwiew of the main security risks arising form the poor condition of cranes, as well as an overwiew of places where defects on crane occur most frequently. The annex also contains photographs form the practical part.

Active employment policy focused on retraining in Hodonín district

This bachelor thesis focuses on imbalance in the labour market in the Hodonin district which has been the region with relatively high unemployment for a long time. Attention is paid to the effectiveness of active employment policy with a focus on retraining. First in the centre of attention is development on the labour market, the unemployment and its causes and consequences. Further it presents the active employment policy, its goals, instruments and funding. The practical part mainly deals with the tools of active employment policy - the retraining and its cost effectiveness in the fight against unemployment. This bachelor work analyses Hodonin district from the point of view how successful the active employment policy instruments are above all the retraining. The situation analysis and comparative method are used for evaluation of the goal of this work. The purpose of this work is to sum up if this type of education is suitable to fund with aspect of the costs, structure of applicants for retraining and further successfuls placement of the retrainers to labour market.
