ERP as a Service

This work is focused on the problematics of ERP as a Service and its main goal is to identify opportunities for new Czech providers of ERP as a Service. In theoretical part of this work at first is described that, what is provided by ERP as a Service. Further off is this part focused on that, how and under which terms can be and should be ERP as a Service provided. In last chapter of this part are presented world IT trends (for example Lean IT) and its relation to ERP as a Service. In second part of this work was documented the analysis of selected providers of ERP as a Service. That analysis helped to identify opportunities for new providers of ERP as a Service and also determine advices for new or selected providers of ERP as a Service. Creation of the method of the analysis was based on ideal of the provider of ERP as a Service and its product, which is described in first part of this work. In the analysis was also found some characteristics of Czech market of ERP as a Service and its providers. Benefits of this work are not only pointed at providers of ERP as a Service, but also at its potential customers. They can for example find out in this work on what they should focus on or what they should beware of when choosing ERP as a Service.

Grey Literature Repositories

The book Grey Literature Repositories provides information about the concept of grey literature, its development, types, and producers in the European context, with a focus on the Czech Republic. The example of the National Repository of Grey Literature, practically implemented in the National Technical Library, is given to illustrate how such a repository may be built. The most important factors in the success of such project are cooperation and legislation. The book presents the components necessary to construct a repository from a practical viewpoint, namely analysis, selection and implementation of software, creation of the metadata format and audit of repository credibility.

Techniques of search engine optimization and its results

This thesis is deals with optimizing websites for search engines, as an essential process in the development of modern web projects. The thesis focuses on the basic techniques that are used to increase the visit rate resulting from natural search engines. The main aim is to show the impact of SEO techniques on the visit rate and the positions in search engines after application to a webiste. This will be achieved by modifying or creating of a new website in accordance with modern SEO techniques. Optimization results will be measured using tools like Google Analytics and AWStats. The thesis is divided into two parts -- theoretical and practical. The teoretical one (Chapters 1 and 2) is aimed at the introduction to SEO and describes the basic techniques used in optimization. In the practical part (Chapters 2 and 3) some of these techniques are applied to specific web projects and their results are evaluated as well. The practical part also includes a description of the implementation of certain procedures by using CSS and PHP.

Implementing of ERP systems to small and middle-sized companies

This work is focused on finding factors, that influence the choice of right provider for ERP system implementation. The main goal is attestation of premises of dynamic evolution of ERP system and its influence on succes on the market. At first the evolution of ERP system is described, from precursors till the newest trends. Next part is focused on description of implementing ERP. In last part of the work is made market research of providers of ERP for middle-sized companies, where is used the metodics Gartner's Magic Quadrants, which should help to identify factors, that influence their succes on the market.

Práce provádí finanční analýzu na podnik Remoska s.r.o. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a aplikační část. Teoretická část popisuje postupy finanční anýlyzy použité v aplikační části. V této praktické části byly využity absolutní ukazatele, poměrové ukazatele, čistý pracovní kapitál, ukazatele predikce finanční tísně, EVA, srovnání s odvětvím.

Možnosti připojení k internetu v ČR

Předmětem zájmu této bakalářské práce je nejdůležitější informační a komunikační médium dneška ? Internet. Její součástí je v prvé řadě nezbytná teoretická průprava, zabývající se historií Internetu a dnes nejpoužívanějšími technologiemi. Vývoj Internetu je stručně popsán od jeho vzniku v roce 1963 v USA až do konce monopolu Českého Telecomu. Technologiím se věnuje další část práce. Zaměřuje se na nejpoužívanější technologie připojení ? kabelové xDSL a CATV a bezdrátové Wi-Fi. Následuje aktuální nabídka internetových operátorů ke každému druhu připojení. Stěžejní část práce se věnuje projektům bezplatného Internetu městských částí Prahy 5, 8 a 13 a celopražskému Internetu Magistrátu hlavního města Prahy. Projekty jsou představeny a jsou zhodnoceny jejich klady a zápory. Poslední část tyto projekty kriticky hodnotí s využitím názorů odborné veřejnosti.

Possibilities of automatic plagiarism detection

Tato práce se zabývá možnostmi automatické detekce plagiátů. Cílem je poskytnout relevantní informace těm, kteří uvažují o použití případně vývoji nástroje pro detekci plagiátů. V teoretické části zejména zobecňuje, na příkladech demonstruje a doplňuje informace získané z různých zdrojů zabývajících se touto problematikou. V první části stručně uvádí čtenáře do problematiky plagiátorství a současného stavu zejména ve vzdělávacích institucích a do obecných možností a omezení automatické detekce. Dále vysvětluje rozdíly mezi různými typy nástrojů pro detekci plagiátů a možnostmi jejich využití. V následující části se zabývá základními metrikami používanými v různých nástrojích. Představuje i několik zajímavých alternativních způsobů detekce. Podrobně pak popisuje princip nejpoužívanějšího způsobu detekce plagiátů v přirozeném jazyce a dále některé další přístupy včetně těch užívaných pro detekci v programovacích jazycích. Velký prostor je v praktické části věnován popisu, srovnání a testům vybraných dostupných řešení pro detekci plagiátů a to jak komerčních, tak poskytovaných zdarma. Největší důraz je přitom kladen na jejich fungování v českém jazykovém prostředí. Druhým praktickým přínosem práce je koncept návrhu systému pro detekci plagiátů a jeho začlenění do komplexního programu prevence plagiátorství.
