Literature of the microregion of Krnovsko in teaching at the 2nd level of elementary school

This bachelor thesis contains materials, which help to involve the literature of Krnov microregion in the class at the secondary school. Theoretical part of the thesis is about Krnov microregion and ethnic changes, which happened during the years of 20th century. The knowledge of this theoretical part provides self-study materials for teacher. The practical part contains worksheets with samples of work by writers connected to Krnov. There are an introduction of the writer, methodological guidelines for teachers and worksheets answer key. The aim of worksheets is to know the regional identity of the student and meet the school syllabus through the literature theory class. The work with regional literature can be applied to any class at the secondary school due to worksheets versatility. Comparative analysis of drama as a method of teaching literature

Resumé The diploma thesis represents a complex teaching method which is especially suitable for educating of students in their first year at secondary schools, or in the last year at lower secondary schools. This method introduces students to the basics of the secondary school literary education and to the "summary" characteristics of a literary work. The aim of the method is to guide students by means of the method of experiential pedagogy to acquire the whole complex of knowledge and skills in the field of interpretation and analysis which is required for the State part of school-leaving examinations. The method also aims to create and strengthen mutual relationships inside teams of students and the ability of students to cooperate more closely. The method is built up on four starting points: the constructivism, the creation or creativity, the comparison, and dramatic texts with drama education. We have chosen dramatic texts because, from the point of view of literary-theoretical analysis, they contain all the basic categories of "syuzhet" genres; all, apart from narration and narrators. In addition, and in contrast to epics, the interpretation of drama becomes a greater challenge due to the "gaps" which must be filled by the reader. What Are Children Talking About In Art Lessons?

The bachelor's thesis deals with the communication of preschool children in kindergarten during art activities, their sharing of feelings, enthusiasm for creation. The aim of the work is to describe the communication of children during selected art activities and how the interest in their communication is manifested. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with the topics of communication, children's interactions, the characteristics of art activities, all with regard to preschool children. The practical part is devoted to 7 selected art activities, which are then realized with children. The author of bachelor thesis tries to engage as a silent observer, but also as a participant. Using a video camera, all art activities had been recorded, transcribed and then analyzed through open coding. The research questions had been discussed: What do children say during art activities? Specific research questions had been established: What do children talk about spontaneously during art activities? What non-verbal expressions do they accompany their communication? The enclosed master thesis focuses on assessment in the Natural History educational area at lower-secondary school (ISCED 2). The main aim of the thesis is to get acquainted with the concepts and methods of school assessment, subsequently to select appropriate methods and approaches to assessment for the education of Natural History and to verify them in practice with the use of action research. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. First, the topics related to the subject matter are presented in the theoretical part. The pedagogical communication is an indivisible part of the assessment process. The assessment is also dependent on the approach to education and applied objectives. Bloom's revised taxonomy is mostly used in the area of cognitive objectives, however Marzano and Kendall's (2007) New Taxonomy of Educational Objectives is also applied nowadays. The assessment includes a wide variety of possibilities and approaches, from which grading and oral assessment are the most common. The terms summative and formative assessment are explained in the thesis. Use of Lapbook to Develop Reading Pre-Literacy in Preschool Children

This diploma thesis deals with the Lapbook teaching method and its use to develop reading literacy for preschool-age children. The aim is to develop a deeper understanding of the text read by children and their creation of their own interactive book. The work presents an integrative project that is to stimulate children's interest in literature, understanding the story through appropriately selected activities and get acquainted with the entire process of making a Lapbook. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part characterizes in general reading literacy, reading pre-literacy and its anchoring in the Framework Educational Program for Preschool Education. Furthermore, the characteristics of the period in terms of the child's development and the development of reading skills, the factors influencing reading, such as the influence of family or kindergarten, and the prerequisites for the development of reading literacy. Equity in assessment from pupils'point of view: Case study

The thesis relates to the grading system during the first five years of primary school. It concerns the various types of assessing students, especially grading, assessment for teaching and self-evaluation. It aims to find a fair way of assessing the school grading system. It also concerns the relationship between the teacher, the students and the parents. The practical part of the thesis relates to the outcome of the research of the case study. The main method were group interviews with the pupils, a semi-structured dialogue with the class teacher and a questionnaire filled in by the pupils' parents. The aim was to find out how the students, teachers and parents perceive the fairness of the grading system. The research shows that the pupils and the parents alike find the assessment for teaching and marks the fairest. The teachers found that they needed specific criteria in order to assess the students whether with a grade or by a written assessment.
Teacher Perspective on Distance Learning at Primary School

This diploma thesis deals with the current state of distance education at the 1st stage of primary school (4th and 5th grade) year 2020/2021. The main part presents the management structures of distance education with the implementation of selected online's methods teaching and creation of materials' study (distance learning). These materials are making available to students with the possibility to provide feedbacks in both directions. It also deals with pedagogical and didactic aspects of distance education, including a comparison of differences between distance and full-time teaching (duration: January to June 2020 and September 2020 to May 2021). The empirical part of the thesis was carried out as action research. It compares the period of the beginning of distance learning, March 2020 - FIRST PHASE, with the period from October 2020 - SECOND PHASE. It also compares the performance of two selected students and the impact of distance education on their performance from January 2020 to May 2021. Supporting findings on the issue are substantiate by several methods (questionnaire survey, discussion with students and student results from tests). Speech and thought development as part of reader preliteracy

This diploma thesis focuses on the issues of thought and speech development in the area of reading preliteracy of preschool children. The thesis is divided into theoretical and empirical parts. The theoretical part is devoted to the issues of reading preliteracy, thought and speech development in the area of reading preliteracy, drawing attention to the risk of developing specific learning disabilities and discusses the impact of pre-school institutions on children. The empirical part is compiled based on this knowledge. The aim of the empirical part is to map the level of reading preliteracy in children aged 5 - 6 in Humpolec. Specific research questions investigate the preliteracy teaching skills of kindergarten teachers, as well as the way how teachers develop these reading skills and a range of tests for the subsequent evalution of reading preliteracy levels of children. The empirical part of the thesis combines two methods of data acquisition, questionnaire surveys and observation of children during the performance of tasks in the tests. There was a relatively good level of reading preliteracy among children aged 5 - 6, but with large individual differences among children. Development of speech and communication in preschool children through selected children's literature

The topic of the diploma thesis is the development of speech and communication in preschool children. It deals with the possibilities of using children's literature and reading children's books to influence and improve the level of speech and communication between children. The work consists of two parts. The theoretical part defines the development of a preschool child with emphasis on the development of speech and their components. Furthermore, the types and forms of children's literature and its importance in preschool age are introduced. The theoretical part also deals with the individual language levels that it describes. The empirical part is processed in the form of action research. Its main part is a thematic unit with proposed activities and work with selected children's literature. Within the thematic unit, children are more actively involved in children's literature and communication with each other. At the end of the empirical part, the thematic unit will be reflected, evaluated and possible recommendations for further support of speech development and communication of preschool children will be given.
