Severová, Veronika ; Sotáková, Hana (advisor) ; Kučerová, Olga (referee)
The bachelor thesis deals with a case study of a particular facility for children requiring immediate help and a case report of selected preschool children who are located in the mentioned facility. In the theoretical part I characterize child in preschool age, its development and needs. I also focus on the theme of CAN syndrome, family disorders and foster care. Furthermore, I summarize general information about the ZDVOP facility in the Czech Republic, its content and aim. The main method of research is the case study of an ZDVOP based in Prague, which I created on the basis of data analysis, direct observation, taking part in routine operation and interview with a social worker. The case study contains a brief description of the facility and a detailed record of the three selected children, focusing on the overall prosperity of the child, his actions, coping with the situation and experiencing separation from a loved one. The aim of my bachelor thesis is to observe the psychological and physical condition of the selected preschool child in ZDVOP during the whole stay. Furthermore, to monitor his behavioral changes, the relationship between him and his loved ones and look for circumstances that affect the child while staying in the facility. Based on this goal, I deal with research questions.
Dynamic assessment in practice of school psychologist
Mrázková, Marína ; Lucká, Barbora (advisor) ; Kučerová, Olga (referee)
This bachelor thesis introduce dynamic assessment as an approach, which could be part of the practice of a school psychologist, and tries to figure out, whether, and to what extent is this method applied to school psychologists' everyday job. The data was collected and analyzed through the method of qualitative research from semi-structured interviews with seven school psychologists. The results of the research imply that school psychologists do utilize principals of dynamic assessment to a certain extent, but in majority they don't use it systematically. This resume is in agreement with the research, which was carried out under the project RAMPS-VIP III. In the resume, the author comes with the hypothesis that it might be useful if school psychologists learnt more about this method already during their studies - particularly those of them who potentially aspire for a career in schooling or counseling. KEYWORDS Dynamic assessment, school psychology, learning difficulties, mediated learning experience

My thesis deals with level of socially emotional competence of home educated children. In theoretical part I present concept of individual education and disputation of various authors on this subject, characterize development period of young school age and present theoretical delimitation of both test methods that I use for data collection. Empirical part consist of elaborate comparison of output of two groups of children aged 8 - 10 years, each group consist of 5 respondents. First group is constituted of children that are home educated more than one year. Second group include children attending regular educational institution and meet the conditions I determined for pair comparison. Main methods for data collection are the Intelligence and Development Scales (IDS) and my own initiative material made of seven photographs, that are evaluated with the Scale of Social Orientation (SOS). Results are processed qualitatively. I compare individual pair of children from exploratory and control group followed by summary comparison. Then I analyze content of answers. Acquired results don't imply any significant differences in performance of exploratory and control group. KEYWORDS homeschooling, social emotional competencies, younger school age, test IDS, the Scale of Social Orientation
