Interaction investigator with selected participants of criminal proceedings and its impact on based recognition

(in English): The thesis "Interaction of police investigators with selected participants of criminal proceedings and its impact on recognition" is studies the interaction and communication of criminal proceeding participants and its influence on the quality of those proceedings on recognition. The theoretical part deals with criminal proceedings such as all the trial requirements and factors which affect police investigation. Rights and responsibilities of all participants of trials are defined. Furthermore, communication, its types and categories and -most of all -its impact on successful police interrogation is examined. We also mention interpersonal perception. In the theoretical part of the thesis a lot of attention is devoted to the personality of police investigators and to significant characteristics which form the foundation of police profession. In conclusion of the theoretical part we describe the aspects which control the investigation and potential offender recognition. In the empirical part the aim was to find out what impact the quality of instructions has on successful offender recognition. The empirical part was performed in an experiment. The selected aspects of family influence and the child's success at school

The submitted thesis is focused on the research of multi-factor conditioned fenomenon of school success and the influences which can affect it and are arising from the family surrounding. The knowledges about the school success and also the academic self-efficacy of a pupil are worked out in the theoretical part of the thesis. The next part belongs to the separated areas of the family effects that influence the school success of the pupil - for example : the parents education level, leisure activities of parents and children, helping with the homeworks and the ways of education within the family. The empiric part is represented by the quantitative research, where the relationship among the chosen factors of family effects and the individual elements of school success are verified throughout the research set of pupils attending the primary school (lower secondary education). The relationship between the academic self-efficacy and the school results of the pupil are being identified in here as well. Communication skills of youth volleyball coach and their development by VIG

This multiple case study relates to the field of sport psychology describing coach's tasks and skills. Good communication skills contribute to performance enhancement, personal growth, and good interpersonal relationship and also to positive training and motivational climate. The aim of this multiple case study is to use the Video Interaction Training method for working with coaches in order to develop their communication skills and consequently evaluate utility of this method. This study helps to increase the number of Video Interaction Training application areas and shows the direction how it is possible to educate coaches and improve their skills. The role of older siblings and their influence on development of younger siblings

When analyzing the development of children and adolescents, the most attention is usually paid to parents. Other older members of a family, however, have an important role, too. The crucial, yet often neglected person (at least in Czech literature), impacting the development of an individual, is his or her older sibling. The subject of the theoretical part of this thesis is to clarify the specifics of a sibling relationship as well as to describe the role and the sphere of influence of the older sibling considering all the factors that come into the relationship between two siblings. The empirical part consists of the description of the research project and the results of the research, whose aim is to discover the specifics of a sibling relationship with a particular focus on the upbringing styles of the older sibling; to find differences between the upbringing methods of parents and the upbringing methods of older siblings; and to find out to what extent the gender and the age difference between siblings determines their mutual relationship. Parenting styles and siblings group in large families

The diploma thesis focuses on parenting styles and the sibling group of large families. The theoretical part describes the theoretical base of parenting styles, variables that can influence parenting styles and the specifics of large families. The qualitative approach in the empirical part was used. The study sample consists of nine Czech families with four or five children aged 1.5 to 18 years. Parents are mostly highly educated practicing Catholics. Data were gathered using qualitative and quantitative methods. The outcome of this research is a description of the specifics of family education in large families, possible causes for education differences among children in a family and the characteristics of a sibling group. Family size impacts communication among parents and children in the family, as well as the number of shared activities and the way the household is organized. Causes of differences in education among siblings can be found in the different personality characteristics, age, sibling constellation and the extent of parental experience. The significance of the sibling group is reflected in a compensation for lack of parental attention, an encouragement of younger siblings' development and a cultivation of social skills.
The School Climate and its Relationship to the professional Satisfaction and Health of the Pedagogical Staff

This diploma thesis deals with the topic of school climate and its relationship to the professional satisfaction and health of teachers. In the broader context, this paper deals with the relationship between the work environment represented by school climate and the two dimensions of subjective quality of life and personal well-being - happiness and satisfaction in the profession and job, and health-related quality of life. The theoretical part presents the definition of and theoretical bases for school climate, it also deals with methodological issues associated with its research. Professional satisfaction is presented from the viewpoint of positive psychology and operationalized as happiness. The chapter concerning health summarizes different concepts of health and disease, and presents the aspects of health which are relevant to the teaching profession. The project "Škola podporující zdraví" (Health promoting school) is presented at the end of the chapter. Significant adults in the evolution and development of children

This thesis deals with problematics of influential adults in evolution and development of children. Theoretical part contains a summary of studies on this subject and their results. A goal of this bachelor thesis is to create a summary of possible significant adults and to compare effect of significant adults in and out of the family. Empirical part includes a suggestion of quantitative-qualitative research, which should contribute to better understanding about the notion of a relationship of a child and its influential adult in the Czech Republic. The research is oriented on children from grades six to nine. Using questionnaire and interview we investigate the basic characteristics of this relationship, which is, for example, the frequency of a contact or the content of time spent together.
Professional and lay psychology of education of children in the family

The thesis aims to find out the general public's views on raising children within the family, and to compare it with selected psychological research. The theoretical part is a review of several studies over recent years dealing with a child's upbringing in a family, selected so as to reflect the views of the general public, specifically parents, and responds to these themes from a professional point of view. The empirical part attempts to explore the values, attitudes, and opinions of parents on key educational situations, using a questionnaire method. The thesis investigates current trends among parents' child-rearing methods within the Czech Republic, and compares them with the current findings of modern psychological research on education in the family.
Sibling relationships

The bachelor thesis concerns with sibling relationships between children growing up in the same family during childhood, adolescence and early adulthood. Particular emphasis is placed on the distinctive characteristics of the interactions between siblings, such as warmth and closeness, relative status and power, conflict and rivalry, and their impact on the perceived quality of the bond between brothers and sisters and the functioning of the relationships outside the family. Presented proposal of the empirical investigation is a quantitative replication study focused on a different perception of the parental treatment toward siblings, which is interpreted in the light of the experience of rivalry and jealousy between brothers and sisters.
Educational styles of secondary school teachers

The present thesis is devoted to educational styles of secondary school teachers. The literary overview describes progressively the most important educational environment of high school students - their family, school and peers. This section provides more detailed information about socialization in adolescence. The interaction with other people is considered as the starting point of their socialization. The concept of "significant others" (parents, teachers) as an irreplaceable factor of adolescent's development and growth is particularly highlights at the thesis. Follow-up to the characteristics of interaction and communication at pedagogical-psychological context the different views of educational styles of teachers and specifics that relate to the educational environment of secondary schools are introduced. In another part of the thesis a research project is proposed. It pays attention to secondary school teachers who teach "Pedagogy" and "Psychology" which are characterized briefly by their specific position in relation to the educational styles at the introduction.
