Deposition of Ga and GaN ultrathin layers on graphene substrate
Dvořák, Martin ; Nebojsa, Alois (referee) ; Mach, Jindřich (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with preparation of graphene samples for depositions of ultrathin layers of gallium and gallium nitride. Graphene substrates were prepared by chemical vapour deposition in home-build high temperature reactor. After graphene transfer to silicon wafers, a series of chemical and thermal treatments were performed. Obtained samples were suitable for the study of growth of ultrathin layers of Ga and GaN. The growth of Ga and GaN was realized in ultra high vacuum conditions. Molecular beam epitaxy technique was used for gallium depositions together with ion source for nitridation. Obtained ultrathin layers were studied with X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, atomic force microscopy and with scanning electron microscopy.

The bachelor´s devote to analysis of sport organization Regional sports center of youth Brno, which is specialized to training begginers of shooters at olympics events trap and skeet. In the thesis is made analysis of organization and suggestion to improvement.
Educational video codec
Dvořák, Martin ; Hála, Ondřej (referee) ; Slanina, Martin (advisor)
The first goal of diploma thesis is to study the basic principles of video signal compression. Introduction to techniques used to reduce irrelevancy and redundancy in the video signal. The second goal is, on the basis of information about compression tools, implement the individual compression tools in the programming environment of Matlab and assemble simple model of the video codec. Diploma thesis contains a description of the three basic blocks, namely - interframe coding, intraframe coding and coding with variable length word - according the standard MPEG-2.
Algorithm for Realistic Vascular Circulation of Synthetic Retina
Dvořák, Martin ; Drahanský, Martin (referee) ; Semerád, Lukáš (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to improve an existing tool for creating synthetic retina of the eye. The improvement of an existing software is carried out by changing the algorithm for creation vascular bed. The problem was solved by designing an algorithm which is based on real behavior  of vascular system in the retina of the eye. Real pictures were statistically recorded. Mathematical programs created aproximation curves of the blood vessels. Directions of the blood vessels, locations of branching and a number of branching of blood vessels were observed. A model for generation of synthetic pictures was designed based on discovered information and probability of branching. The main results are synthetic retinas which contain patterns of behavior of a real retina of the eye. These pictures have similar number of blood vessels, aiming towards the same location and branching in the same points as real pictures.
Family house - Moravany u Brna
Bartek, Petr ; Dvořák, Martin (referee) ; Eliáš, Luboš (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the design of above-standard detached house with establishment in Moravany u Brna in South Moravian region. It is designed as a two-story building with partial basement and it is roofed by flat roofs. The establishment is used as hairdressing saloon. The project deals with a permanent living of four people with possibility of the cars standing in garage which is connected to the house. Above the garage is the flat roof with terrace function, above the living parts are flat roofs with pea gravel. The construction system is mostly made of polished ceramic blocks Porotherm, but with cast-in-place reinforced concrete columns and ceilings. The whole house is insulated with expanded polystyrene. The building is standing in moderately sloping terrain. Part of the proposal is thermal engineering assessment, fire safety solutions and assessments in terms of acoustic and daylight. The thesis contains drawing and technical documentation and it is composed as an implementation project.
Wheel Alignment and Kinematic Characteristics Measurement with Use of Optical Scanners Tritop and Atos
Dvořák, Martin ; Vančura, Jan (referee) ; Blaťák, Ondřej (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused to possibility utilizing of optical scanners TRITOP and ATOS for set up geometry of wheels. In background research are described the most important parameters of wheel suspension and devices for measuring these parameters. Practical part is concerned with progression of measurement, results and with determination coordinates of kinematic points. These points are made 3D model of forward and backward suspension wheels. This model helps to make kinematic characteristics and its progression due to attitude of wheel. In last part is described possibility to utilizing of optical scanner ATOS to common measurement of geometry wheels.

Bayesian classification and regression trees
Dvořák, Martin ; Antoch, Jaromír (advisor) ; Maciak, Matúš (referee)
The bachelor's thesis is devoted to classification and regression trees, their con- struction, and interpretation. In the first part, the reader gets acquainted with the structure of decision trees, basic definitions, and methodology. In the second part, more advanced and efficient methods for creating such trees using a Bayesian approach to the whole problem are presented. The last part of the work is focused on a practical task, where knowledge from this work is used. The entire text is accompanied by pictures, explanations, and derivations to make it easier for the reader to understand the whole problem in more depth. The thesis Bayesian classification and regression trees can serve all those interested who want to learn more about the issue of decision trees. 1
Areál pro sportovní a kulturní aktivity v obci Sentice
Dvořák, Martin
The diploma thesis deals with the design of a multipurpose complex on a specific plot in the village of Sentice. The complex includes outdoor sports surfaces for the recreation of citizens and a building with wooden construction. The building serves as a sanitary facility and cultural center. The main structure is composed of massiv wood panels DEKPANEL. In order to find the best solution was created more layout options, while the most suitable variant was elaborated in detail. The proposed building takes into account the requirements of the investor, the ideas of the citizens of the site and the author's own opinion. The result of the thesis is the drawing documentation of the building and a technical description.
Metaphor in work of Vladimír Holan
DVOŘÁK, Martin
This doctoral thesis focuses on metaphors and their usage in literature. On basis of different theoretical approaches, the thesis describes the substitution theory of metaphor, specifically Aristotle's concept presented in his treatises Poetics and Rhetoric, then interaction theory of metaphor, initiated by Ivor Armstrong Richards and developed by Max Black. The concept of cognitive content of metaphors will be particularly analysed. The methodology section of this thesis will then focus on Donald Davidson's essay "What Metaphors Mean", John Searle's theory of speech acts and Richard Rorty's model of contingency of language. The thesis is complemented by three case studies theoretically based on methodology described in previous chapters. The studies analyse the metaphors in poetry of czech poet Vladimír Holan. They are surveying Holan's figurative language in his books from late 20s to late 40s of the 20th century, one of the studies focuses on speech initiations produced by Holan's lyric poetry, which he wrote in 30s, those initiations are tracked in contemporary reviews.
