DVOŘÁK, Dominik. Použití cizích jazyků v reklamní komunikaci a jejich vliv na percepci reklamního sdělení. Praha, 2019. 45 s. Bakalářská práce (Bc). Univerzita Karlova, Fakulta sociálních věd, Institut komunikačních studií a žurnalistiky Katedra marketingové komunikace a PR. Vedoucí diplomové práce PhDr. Tereza Klabíková Rábová, Ph.D. Abstract The thesis explores the use of foreign languages in advertising communication and its influence on advertising message perception. It investigates the question if it's beneficial to borrow words and phrases from foreign languages or whether it's more effective to use solely the native language. In the theoretical part the author shows the historical, linguistic and socio-psychological context of commercial language code-mixing. In the practical part he introduces the qualitative research method of the focus group using 6 pairs of advertisement visuals, containing both the original foreign version and a version entirely adapted to the Czech language. It turns out that the customer's interest in the product can be increased if the foreign language application is aligned with the entire positioning of the product or brand. Its use can give the product a certain feel of uniqueness or exclusiveness. Contrarily, an isolated use of a foreign word without any context of a...

Bederka, Tomáš ; Dvořák, Dominik (advisor) ; Straková, Jana (referee)
The thesis focuses on the issue of civic attitudes adopted by students of vocational schools. The author presents an overview of previous Czech research which shows that students of vocational schools are placed at the bottom of international surveys inquiring civic and political knowledge. Moreover, the results reveal that the students of vocational schools express their support for democracy as a way of government the least. The goal of the thesis is to describe civic and political opinions of concrete students and show who influences them and how. It is designed as a multiple case study. Six students of vocational schools from Prague, a smaller town and a village in Central Bohemian Region were chosen to participate in the study. The core of the work is the description of the individual cases in a detailed context including their family, community, school and friends. The findings indicate that the studied students are usually not interested in politics. Their political beliefs are heavily formed by their family and peers. School as an institution does not have any influence, not even through civic education which is compulsory during the first years of high school education. It is most of all caused by fewer opportunities for an open discussion about basic topics in classes. Media have only...

Requirements from headmaster, founder, colleagues, students and their parents are too demanding. Quality of teaching depends on preparedness and working strain of the teacher. Assigning teachers into classrooms might be one of the deciding factors of working strain. There are more possible systems of assigning teachers - looping (teacher remaining with a group of students for multiple academic years), stable-grade assignment and grade switching. The study is concerned with theoretical anchor for assigning teachers into classrooms at primary school especially for looping. There is lack of specialized literature about looping (Czech and international as well).
