Art mecenat of the Cross Order' s with the Red Star Grandmaster Francis Matthew Böhmb (1722-1750)

The paper aims on the cultural life of Francis Matthew Böhmb (1722- 1750), a native of Lubenec (Bohemia), Superior General of the Order of Crusaders with the Red Star in Prague. The Grand Master of the Order took the vows under the rule of sophisticated, erudite lawyer Grandmaster Martin Constantine Beinlich and in the second half of the 17th century tread in the steps of the Restorer of the Order, George Ignatius Pospichal. Sophisticated Böhmb became parish priest in Carlsbad firs. It was in 1720 when the General Prior called him to Prague as a Prior and after Beinlich's death was, on the feast of St. Agnes in March 2, 1722, unanimously elected Grand Master. Thesis followed particularly the cultural activities of the forenamed prelate, in the time of the day-to-day duties of the convent ad Pedem Pontis. It was Beinlich, begining to negotiate an extended Order range beyond the borders of the Czech Kingdom, however it was Böhmb's duty to realize this idea when, in 1723, he installed the Knights of the Cross in Bratislava (Pressburg), and ten years after, in Vienna. In Bratislava he let to build a new commendam's hospital there, as in Vienna, where he used the newly erected prestigious church of St. Charles Borromeo. The Discourse of Visuality of Grammar School Pupil

The dissertation deals with visuality, its perception by pupils of the secondary school. The theoretical part of the work defines the concept of image, visuality, their contextual frameworks. It takes into account the discursivity of these concepts. The aim of the research is to determine students' preferences in the concept of visuality. It seeks theoretical foundation in the areas of: visual sphere - artistic production, new media; art history; spheres of humanities - philosophy, pedagogy, psychology. It also deals with communication and linguistics. It applies knowledge of a semiotic nature. Research design is applied action research of a qualitative nature. It uses the methodology of Grounded Theory and triangulation. The research part of the thesis contains evaluated questionnaire surveys, reflecting selected artifacts. Interpreted student outcomes. These are evaluated using the obtained data to answer research questions. The thesis brings a new perspective on visual information, from the perspective of the pupil. Nowadays, we as educators, are searching for the most appropriate way to offer children and adolescents the necessary competences for to be adapt in the contemporary visual society. Arcimboldo - metaphor and thinking of collages at school

Bc. Renáta Šťastná Abstrakt v anglickém jazyce This thesis -on Archimboldo - explores the possibilities of using the technique of collage in normal teaching in primary and secondary school. The goal of the work is to introduce primary school students to the technique of collage and to awaken in them visual arts appreciation based on metaphorical thinking . In each section a presentation is made on the work of famous painters in order to: - awaken creativity and an ability to create in order to enable students to experience success with their own work - teach critical thinking and self-reflection. - become aware of the influences which motivated painters to create each work. The practical section sets out tasks undertaken and based on their findings are recommendations on how they are to be put into practice.
Hermína Týrlová and her puppet world

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the interpretation of the work of an important Czech animator Hermína Týrlová. In the context of Zlín's film production studios and the state of animated movie at the time, it analyzes films from Týrlová and her authorial positions. The work further focuses on technical aspects of puppet construction for film. The gained knowledge acquired it then puts into pedagogical practice for the purpose of innovation and analysis of teaching animation in film education. The author's work, which will be part of the bachelor's thesis, will be inspired by the style of Hermína Týrlová.

Helena Kafková, Ph.D. ABSTRACT: The work focuses on studying color terminology in a specific pre-school and on their practical usage in pre-school environment. The core issue is the functional vocabulary of arts education, specifically its part connected to colors, understood predominantly as color tonality. The theoretical part of the thesis consists of literature review and the author's reflections on the studied texts. The work, besides pedagogical contexts of pre-school art education, touches the usage of colors in chosen periods of art history and on the practical side, it describes the usage of colors in a specific preschool environment. The research methods are qualitative and include observation and analysis of individual practices and portfolios and other presentations and data resource. Table game of questions and answers as a support for teaching the history of art

The diploma thesis deals with the topic of board games. It is divided into three parts, the theoretical, practical and didactic part. In the theoretical part, the author describes iconography of board games and playing board games from the Middle Ages to the present time. The use of board games is interpreted on specific works of art in painting, sculpture and crafts. The practical part was focused on the creation of an art history educational board game, which develops knowledge in the form of a quiz with questions and answers. The game was redesigned as a digital / online version and a mobile application. Versions of the game were created in a unified author's design. In the didactic part, the author examines whether the game is a suitable teaching material for teachers, students and a group of respondents from the general public. It also includes a methodology for secondary school teachers on how to deal with play in teaching.
