Březina, Jiří ; Mlýnek, Petr (referee) ; Lieskovan, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with the issue of security analysis of DLMS/COSEM protocol and exploitation of these vulnerabilities in real Smart Grid environment. Thesis starts with a description of power grids in the past and present, introducing the environment of modern power grids and the smart grid elements used in it this power grids to reader. This is followed by a detailed discussion of the communication protocols that operate in these networks, beginning from the older and more industrially based Modbus protocol to the DLMS/COSEM protocol which is most used today and his various components and security. The most common current models of link vulnerability attacks are also summarized in the paper. The thesis aims to implement a tester that tests the security of smart grid elements, mainly on the vulnerabilities described in the thesis. The tester primarily focuses on the vulnerability called replay attack and evaluating the execution of this attack in a laboratory environment.

Mechanical design of 3D printers for large-sized parts
Březina, Josef ; Koutecký, Tomáš (referee) ; Paloušek, David (advisor)
This thesis deals with a construction of a largescale 3D printer. The main goal of the thesis is design and manufacture of functional prototype of FDM 3D printer with a size of building chamber (520 x 520 x 480) mm. Designed printer belongs to the RepRap project. A built of the 3D printer is enclosed with a heated bed. This allows printing from PLA, PET-G and particularly ABS. In the thesis, a research was conducted into 3D printing methods from polymers, materials, printing parameters and technologies of FDM printers. The analysis was carried out in the second chapter, where knowledges from the research were evaluated and determined significant parameters of a printing quality. Final technologies were chosen on the grounds of drafts from previous chapter. The realization of the printer including strength calculations is described in a part of a construction solution. The last section of the thesis deals with a calibration of the printer.
The Impact of New Institutions on the Culture of Managing Construction Enterprise
Březina, Josef ; Ivanička, Koloman (referee) ; Špirková,, Daniela (referee) ; Malásek, Michal (referee) ; Puchýř, Bohumil (advisor)
The dissertation deals with the management culture of a construction company in connection with the new roles that are introduced in the Czech Republic (CR), especially after it became a member state of the European Union. In the introduction to the dissertation, two hypotheses are proposed. In the following theoretical part, it deals with the first general definition of corporate culture and ethics linked to the quality of work and new roles. In order to understand these difficult times, which are characterized by various types of crises, an analysis of the construction industry is made. Next, a description of the legislative developments in the CR is made and the influence of computer technology in construction management is marginally mentioned. It’s implementing the new technology that has an increasing impact on the organization and quality of work. The ability to use computer technology has in essence become a measure of the level of development of the management culture in the given construction company. The main theoretical part defines the roles in question, including their historical development, origin and the cause of their occurrence in both the CR and the neighboring countries.
Multiobjective shortest path problem with interval costs
Březina, Jiří ; Hladík, Milan (advisor) ; Fink, Jiří (referee)
The multiobjective shortest path problem with interval costs is a gener- alization of the single-pair shortest path problem. In this problem, the edge weights are represented as tuples of intervals. The aim is to find the path that minimizes the maximum regret. We present theorems regarding the compu- tation of the regret and the efficiency of a feasible solution to the problem. The main result of the thesis is an algorithm seeking for the solution with the least regret in the interval multiobjective shortest path problem. 1
Contextual prediction and its effect on language processing
Březina, Jakub ; Smolík, Filip (advisor) ; Pešout, Ondřej (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to offer a comprehensive account of the concept of contextual prediction. This phenomenon occurs during sentence processing and can be defined as an active anticipation of the upcoming language based on the available context. In the theoretical section, the thesis presents an overview of relevant research in the respective area. Several studies investigating the scope and potential forms of predictive sentence processing are mentioned. Theories of the general mechanisms of contextual prediction and its practical significance for language comprehension are emphasized as well. The thesis, however, focuses primarily on the use of case morphology in the prediction of thematic roles. The empirical section applies this issue on the Czech language. This section includes an experiment which investigated the predictive use of case-markings in the processing of Czech sentences. For this purpose, the experiment measured eye movements during a simultaneous presentation of sentences with a visual context. Although the experiment clearly demonstrated the presence of contextual prediction in the processing of Czech sentences, the influence of case morphology on the predictive processing remains questionable. Media coverage of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 in ČT sport
Březina, Jakub ; Turková, Kateřina (advisor) ; Langer, Miroslav (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with one of the most important global sporting events. Specifically, it examines the media coverage of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar in ČT Sport. Using two sub-quantitative content analyses, the aim of this bachelor thesis is to determine what space was devoted to the 2022 FIFA World Cup on the ČT sport channel between 14 November 2022 and December 2022 (the week before the start of the championship and the week after the end of the championship), whether the 46 pre-match studios on ČT sport, which cover the televised matches of the World Cup in Qatar, give more space to the favourite teams or whether all teams are given similar space, and whether the controversial background of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar is highlighted in the pre-match studios of ČT sport and, if so, in what context. The results of the analysis of the ČT sport programme showed that out of the 1 136 televised TV programmes in the defined period, 395 programmes were devoted to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. This shows that exactly 30 % of the programmes, which were broadcast during the specified period, focused directly on the events of the Qatar championship. Based on the analysis of 46 pre-match studios, it can be claimed that in more than half (namely 24) of the pre-match studios on ČT Sport, more...
CX3CR1+ migratory dendritic cells in the mechanisms of central tolerance
Březina, Jiří ; Filipp, Dominik (advisor) ; Černý, Jan (referee)
Display of thousands of self-antigens in the thymus is fundamental for the establishment of central tolerance as its failure can lead to the development of autoimmunity. Medullary thymic epithelial cells (mTECs) and thymic dendritic cells (DCs) constitute essential populations of antigen presenting cells (APCs) which present these self-antigens to developing T cells. While mTECs produce and present antigens in self-autonomous manner, DCs can hijack mTEC-derived antigens by the process of cooperative antigen transfer (CAT). It is well found that CAT is essential for working central tolerance, however, the overall heterogeneity of thymic APCs participating in CAT remains unclear. Using transgenic mouse models and multicolor flow cytometry analysis, we determined that APCs involved in CAT are exclusively of CD11c+ phenotype. Within these cells, we identified previously unrecognized CX3CR1+ subset of migratory DCs (mDCs) exhibiting monocyte/macrophage markers. These CX3CR1+ mDCs are more efficient in CAT than their CX3CR1- counterparts and reveal robust antigen presenting properties with the capability to present CAT-acquired antigen. Genetic ablation of CX3CR1+ mDCs resulted in increased cellularity of CD8+ and CD4+ thymocytes, indicating importance of this mDC subset for negative selection of...
