Komárek, Jan ; Hurychová, Klára (advisor) ; Flídr, Jan (referee)
1 Liability of an executive of a limited liability company in insolvency from the perspective of a creditor Abstract The topic of the thesis is the possibility for a creditor to achieve a greater degree of satisfaction of its claim against a limited liability company in insolvency with a temporal determination after the commencement of insolvency proceedings, through the liability of the executive within the institute of the issuance of the benefit and the action for supplementation of liabilities under the provisions of Section 66 of the Commercial Corporations Act and compensation for damages for a late filed insolvency petition under the provisions of Section 99 of the Insolvency Act. The topic is quite recent, as the Companies Act has recently been amended, which has just led to the introduction of the action to supplement liabilities and also to changes in the possibility of imposing the obligation to issue a benefit, including new procedural regulations. At the same time, this change has also affected the creditor's situation if it is considering claiming compensation for damages under Section 99 of the Insolvency Act in the event of a breach of the executive's obligation to properly file an insolvency petition, due to the substantive but also procedural interdependence of all the mentioned...

Good morals in business relations Abstract This thesis explores the concept of good morals in in business relations. Its aim is to contribute to a deeper understanding of the role of good morals in commercial relationships and to provide a comprehensive view of their significance and application in the current Czech legal environment. Through an analytical approach to case law, legislation, and theoretical concepts, it aims to offer a complex analysis of the importance and implementation of good morals in business interactions. Good morals, with a long tradition tracing back to classical Roman law, represent a key moral corrective in legal relationships, evolving through the First Republic and the General Civil Code to the current Civil Code. The work examines how good morals function as a tool for regulating business relationships, focusing on specific cases where the morality of actions between businessmen was subject to judicial review. The thesis begins with a historical excursion mapping the development of the concept of good morals from Roman law to the present day. Through extensive analysis of the jurisprudence of the Constitutional and Supreme Courts, the thesis aims to provide a comprehensive view of how good morals shape relationships between businessmen and how they are reflected in the current...
Conflicts in the school environment and possibilities of their solutions or even the prevention
Holmanová, Marcela ; Viktorová, Ida (advisor) ; Sotáková, Hana (referee)
The school environment is in itself a complex social mechanism of relationships and interrelationships. In one view of the problem, it is a psychological-social as well as an economic-social model of the relations of individuals. It is not only a field of communication between children and teachers and between parents and teachers, but also between individual teachers and between teachers and school management as well as between parents and school management or between school management and the founder as well as between parents and founder. The competencies of subjects in the school environment are often not quite simply defined. This is not only an annonced psychological and social problem but also a pedagogical and legislative one. From different perspectives, it is possible to look at this phenomenon from a philosophical point of view and from a cultural anthropological point of view. Conflict belongs to school as an institution even both politically and historically. Conflict as a socio-cultural concept also has a general and specific solution. Conflict can be seen as a catharsis in the actions and behavior of the individuals and in frame of the society. For the given diploma thesis, however, the dimension is only the school environment with a focus on teachers and their support in resolving...
How to implement multicultural education for pupils at primary school through working with text
Macková, Theodora ; Laufková, Veronika (advisor) ; Martinovská, Klára (referee)
This thesis focuses on the development of multicultural education in third year primary school students (in Czech education system) through work with literary texts. In terms of its form, it is divided into theoretical and research parts. The theoretical part contains basic information about multiculturalism, interculturalism, prejudices and stereotypes, deals with the concept of multicultural education in curriculum documents and goes into more detail about the development of reading literacy at the first level of primary school. In particular, it focuses on the development of reading skills through RWCT methods and the three-phase E-U-R learning model. The research part of this thesis contains a description of an action research carried out in the third year of primary school with the aim of developing multicultural education in pupils through a literary text. On the basis of observation, an interview with the class teacher and a pretest of pupils' current attitudes towards multicultural society, five reading lessons based on five selected children's books were realised and then reflected upon in order to develop pupils' multicultural education. The results of the action research show that the lessons had an impact on pupils' attitudes towards multicultural society, pupils took a more active...
Synthesis of Steroidal Modulators for Bile Acid Receptors
Kašpar, Miroslav ; Kudová, Eva (advisor) ; Drašar, Pavel (referee) ; Kvasnica, Miroslav (referee)
The Thesis comprises three major projects. The first project is concerned with the creation of a pregnane compound library that can be used to explore the structure-activity relationship with the TGR5 and FXR receptors. The project draws structural inspiration from Sato's work and involves the compound characterization, digitization, computational methods, and biochemical analysis of a historic group collection of steroids. The second project focuses on the synthesis of modified bile acids using Grignard, Wittig, cross-coupling, or cycloaddition reactions. The synthesized compounds were tested for their TGR5 and FXR activity, leading to the discovery of (E)-7-ethylidene-3α-hydroxy-5β- cholan-24-oic acid, which is known to be the only bile acid with TGR5/FXR dual action. In the last part of the Thesis, 16 oxidizing agents were tested on 5 substrates for their selectivity in oxidizing axial or equatorial hydroxyl groups.
The influence of the social climate of the teaching staff on the work and motivation of kindergarten teachers.
Čadová, Denisa ; Hanyš Holemá, Irena (advisor) ; Ristić, Petra (referee)

For our research, we chose the design of qualitative research - action research, so we describe its character and function within the empirical part. Observation, semi-structured interviews, focus groups and document analysis were used to collect data. As part of the research, it was discovered how the school supports the...
Effect of biostimulants on growth and defence reactions in plants
Vlčková, Denisa ; Ryšlavá, Helena (advisor) ; Innemanová, Petra (referee)
Biostimulants are microorganisms or substances of natural origin that promote plant growth and defence against abiotic and biotic stress. The mechanism of action of biostimulants is still a subject of research. In this work, two biostimulants were studied: fermented nettles and vermicompost leachate. Both biostimulants possessed soluble proteins with lower relative molecular weights and peptides, carbohydrates, phenolic substances as well as active proteolytic enzymes and glycosidases. After application of biostimulants to the maize plants (Zea mays L.), growth parameters did not change significantly, but the plants had higher content of proteins and phenolic substances, higher antioxidant capacity and activity of some peroxidase isoforms. The effect of drought on plant growth, metabolism and antioxidant system after application of fermented nettles and vermicompost leachate was also studied. Maize plants under drought stress treated with biostimulants were able to maintain higher water content, showed higher content of proteins, phenolic compounds and higher glutathione reductase activity than untreated stressed control plants. Both tested biostimulants affected the metabolism of drought-stressed maize plants, with the positive effect being more pronounced in the lower-humus soil. Key words:...
