Musculoskeletal System Dysfunction in Patients in Long-Term Remission of Wilms Nephroblastoma
Šafářová, Marcela ; Kolář, Pavel (advisor) ; Véle, František (referee) ; Eckschlager, Tomáš (referee)
Musculoskeletal System Dysfunction in Patients in Long-Term Remission of Wilms Nephroblastoma Objective: The objective of this retrospective clinical study was to describe the multidisciplinary program of childhood cancer survivors in their young adult age in an adult-based ambulatory medical setting and to report the latent sequelae of the pathology. The hypothesis is that the treatment with all three modalities (chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgery) causes the development of the latent effects in varying degrees. The goal of this study was to investigate the typical musculoskeletal system changes of survivors of Wilms Nephroblastoma who had previously received their basic treatment more than 5 years ago. Design: 151 subjects underwent clinical assessment of body posture, postural tests and evaluation on BalanceMaster® force plate. These tests were conducted in conjunction with other clinical evaluations, namely, pulmonary and renal function tests, immunology deficiency and exercise capacity to seek its relationship to the diseases' risk factors. The correlation between postural findings and the above clinical tests were investigated. Subjects: Ambulatory patients with a primary diagnosis of nephroblastoma who have undergone treatment greater than 5 years ago. Settings: Clinics at the University...
The effect on respiration parameters by the the co-activation of diaphragm with ather muscles of the torso during physical exertion
Hellebrandová, Lenka ; Procházka, Michal (referee) ; Šafářová, Marcela (advisor)
The impact of the work "Affecting of respiratory parameters by co-activation of diaphragm with other trunk muscles" was to confront actual knowledge and relation between postural and respiratory kinesiology, observe interconnection of their control by the central nervous system and their participation during ontogenesis. The influence of respiratory motor pattern on respiratory functions and on relationship between postural and respiratory system within pathology of respiratory function was measured by a spirometric, a spiroergometric and a functional examination of locomotor system. The study was carried out using a group of probands, who were selected according to the spirometric and the spiroergometric examinations. Some of them had the values of spirometric parameters either at the limit or outside the limit of reference values. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Souhrn Šnévajsová, M. Klinické vyšetření pacientek s idiopatickou skoliózou orientované na detekci abnormalit posturální stability a přístrojová diagnostika. (Diplomová práce) Praha: Univerzita Karlova, Fakulta tělesné výchovy a sportu, 2006. Vedoucí práce: Šafářová, M. Tématem teoretické části diplomové práce byl přehled klasifikace, klinického obrazu a vyšetření idiopatické skoliózy a problematika posturální stability člověka. Hlavním cílem praktická části práce byl kineziologický rozbor pacientek s idiopatickou skoliózou (dále IS), zdokumentování funkce hlubokého stabilizačního systému páteře (dále HSSP) a pohybových vzorů vycházejících z vývojové kineziologie. V druhé části výzkumu byla testována posturální stabilita přístrojem Balance Master® System (dále BMS) pěticí specifických testů u 13ti členné skupiny dívek s adolescenčním typem IS a kontrolní skupiny zdravých dívek stejného počtu a věku. Klinické vyšetření prokázalo anamnestický nález poruch ontogenetického vývoje, lehce pozitivních mozečkových příznaků, asymetrie exterocepce, abnormálních pohybových vzorů a známek asymetrické insuficience HSSP. Statistickým zpracováním výsledků BMS testů nebyl potvrzen signifikantní rozdíl mezi testovanou a kontrolní skupinou. Na výsledky této práce mohou navazovat longitudinální studie zaměřené na sledování...
Suppression of artifacts in electrocardiograms
Šafárová, Marcela ; Kubičková, Alena (referee) ; Janoušek, Oto (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis on the subject removal of ECG noise introduces processing of ECG signal for possible better diagnostics. The first part of the work is focused on initiation and propagation of action potential and methods for measuring heart´s electrical activity. Further are referred main types of noise affecting the ECG signal and basic filtering methods. The work focuses on filtration using Lynn´s filters, IIR filters, interpolation, spectral lines editing and adaptive filters and evaluation of their effectivity.
