Inclusive education with a focus on the pupil with a different mother tongue

The diploma thesis "Inclusive education with a focus on the pupil with a different mother tongue" is divided into two parts. The theoretical part is based on the basis of a professional literary research of the chosen issue, in which the author focuses on the pupil with special educational needs from a different socio-cultural environment, on a pupil with a different mother tongue who is educated at a regular primary school. In the introductory theoretical part, the author deals with migration, multiculturalism and briefly introduces the country, the national minority, where the student with a different language comes from. The author also includes an explanation of the terms such as intercultural identity, communication-language and integration of foreigners to this topic. In the second chapter of the theoretical part of "Inclusive education" of the pupils with specific educational needs, the author focuses on pupils with a different mother tongue. This diploma thesis deals with the issue of health and safety protection in the environment of a selected secondary vocational school and related health risks and the possibility of accidents. The aim of the work will be to identify weaknesses in the field of health and safety protection at the selected secondary school based on a questionnaire survey and, based on the results, to propose methods and possibilities for increasing awareness of health and safety protection, as the basic conditions for compliance with the rules of health and safety protection at school by the pupils themselves. The output of the work will be not only knowledge of the real situation of practicing health and safety at a selected secondary school, but also a proposal of how to better inform pupils and also involve them in the process of how they themselves can take care of their own health and safety protection in the school environment. The diploma thesis on the theme Activation methods in the teaching of health education at the second grade of a selected primary school deals with activation teaching methods and their use in the teaching of health education at a chosen primary school. The theoretical part deals with basic terminology and describes in detail the individual methods, the way of classification, and the field of health education itself. The practical part consists of the own quantitative research. There was selected a questionnaire survey as a research tool in the second grade of the Karel Jeřábek Elementary School in Roudnice nad Labem, specifically in the 8th and 9th grades. The aim of the research was to map the level of use of activation methods in the teaching of health education at the given school. Education towards Health at Practical one-year School

This diploma thesis focuses on Education towards health at Practical one-year school. The thesis is divided into three parts. First, the theoretical part describes didactic methods used during education, the subject of Education towards Health, intellectual disability and the way it affects pupils at school, Practical one-year school and its place in the Czech education system and lastly it presents tools that teachers use for effective teaching especially for the subject of Education towards Health and with intellectually disabled pupils. The availability of different materials for teaching this subject at Practical one-year school is presented in the second part of this work, that in the form of charts sums up the results of a questionnaire. It confirms the original assumption, that there is a lack of materials among the responders. The last part of the thesis is practical. The aim of this work was to create various tools that can be used for teaching some aspects of Education towards Health at Practical one-year school. The author created and tested 21 different tools, worksheets and games which can be used for teaching said subject to pupils with intellectual disability. Complete set of these educational materials is presented in the annexe of this work.
Knowledge of students of the Faculty of Education in selected areas of emergency protection: online questionnaire research

This bachelor's thesis deals with the knowledge of students of teachers at the Faculty of Education of Charles University in the field of emergency protection. The aim of the practical part is to map the knowledge of the students of teaching at the Faculty of Education of Charles University in the field of emergency protection. To obtain data, an online questionnaire was used to collect basic information about the respondents, their level of experience with emergency protection, self-assessment of their knowledge in this area and opinions on teaching emergency protection in schools. The next part of the questionnaire was designed as an online test in which respondents completed questions testing their knowledge. The questionnaire was available via a web link that was shared among the students of teaching at the Faculty of Education, UK. The questionnaire was active for less than 5 months. From mid-December 2022 to the end of April 2023. A total of 145 respondents were recorded, of which 141 met the criteria of the field of study. The overall ratio of recorded correct and incorrect responses was 1100/1015. The overall pass rate for all respondents in the questionnaire was 52%. Possibilities of integrating kinesthetic teaching methods into the plan of education and care in children's group

The diploma thesis is focused on the significance of use of kinesthetic teaching methods in the annual plan of education and care in children's group. The theoretical part is devoted to basic terminology, the definition of key concepts, such as health and its support in preschool education, and the characteristics of children's groups as a specific form of pre- primary education. The following chapters introduce the age-specific features of preschool age with focus on motor skills. This part closes with a chapter dedicated to the curriculum of children's groups, presenting documents that can be used in the creation of a formal curriculum, the characteristics of kinesthetic teaching methods and the importance of movement with positive development of a child. The diploma thesis on the topic of Well-being of university teachers in the working environment from the point of view of social relations and communication deals with occupational well- being in the field of social relations and communication. The theoretical part of the work defines the concept of well-being, explains its effect on health, connections with social relations and communication, and provides an overview of the specifics of occupational well-being in the university environment. The practical part is devoted to the research, which was aimed at university teachers of the Department of Multimedia at the Faculty of Informatics and Statistics of the University of Economics in Prague. Its aim was to find out what the occupational well- being of these teachers is in terms of social relations and communication in the workplace. This is because it is a specific department where pedagogic and commercial activities are linked, so it was expected that this phenomenon would be reflected in workplace relationships and the attitude towards them, as well as occupational well-being. The work is focused on visual didactic tools for teaching Health Education. It is divided into three parts. The first part deals with the objectives and concept of education. It characterizes what is the subject of Health Education. It focuses on didactic tools, their types, organizational forms, and teaching methods for Health Education. Finally, it specifically focuses on visualizations and visual aids suitable for Health Education teaching. The second part of the work describes the research conducted. The third part of the work contains a description of the created visual aids (comics, sketchnotes, collage) for Health Education teaching. Among other things, you will find prepared lesson plans where specific visual aids are used. The aim of this work was to create a set of visual aids that would help teachers as inspiration for their teaching. Furthermore, the goal was to find out how students work with the created aids, whether they like them, whether they remember the information better when processed in this way, and whether the teaching is more enjoyable with them. These objectives were examined using a quantitative research method, specifically through online questionnaires. This thesis presents the experiences, insights and experiences of participants in online and offline distance education in a selected primary school during the covid-19 pandemic. The thesis focuses on the educational and hidden difficulties of students and teachers in one primary school, coming as a result of the transition of full-time study to distance or irregular hybrid learning, but also focuses on the pedagogical activities of teachers under the influence of online learning. For schools and especially for their teachers in the era of mandated distance education, it was necessary to change their ways of working, to choose methods and forms not used so far, to adapt didactics to the virtual socio-space and to significantly change the existing pedagogical communication, ways of self-reflection and evaluation of students' activities.
