Regional Planning in Czechoslovakia in the thirties and the forties

The master thesis deals with regional planning in Czechoslovakia. It approaches this urban discipline at its peak in the thirties and forties. The aim of the work is to introduce the origin and subsequent development of regional planning, particularly its theory, through texts and studies of urban planners. The introduction examines the theory and practice of regional planning in foreign countries and outlines which tools were used to import it to Czechoslovakia. Subsequently reflects how was this theory adopted by urban planners and institutions in the Czechoslovak environment and further developed. The thesis indicates a shift in the understanding of this theory in the pre-war period, during the occupation and after the war. This variation was related to political, economic and social changes and documents a close relationship between regional planning and a national economic plan. The work also examines how regional planning was believed to be organized and legally authorized and represents the first systematic attempts in methodology of regional plans' preparatory work. In sequential chapters the thesis analyses the content of regional plans in terms of settlement, transport, production, recreation and nature. Production Concept of Smart Stand Using Modern Methods and Technologies

The aim of bachelor´s thesis is design, construction and production of smart stand for laptop Macbook Pro with using advanced additive Rapid Prototyping technology. The design is created with the parametric CAD program SolidWorks. Model of stand is realized on a 3D printer Fortus, company operating with additive method Fused Deposition Modeling. The work is completed with economic evaluation of the total costs of production and prices to compare of the stands on the market.

Study of Order Processing in the Selected Company

This bachelor thesis is focused on the study of order processing in company, in manufacturing company named FERMAT, ltd. The company is specialized on manufacture of horizontal boring machine. The first part is focused on theoretical basis. The company is introduced and the order processing is analyzed (beginning from receipt of demand from customer to the shipment of the final product) in the second part. In the third part, changes are proposed for improving whole order processing in the chosen company.

Tool steels

The bachelor thesis deals with the types of steel that are used to produce working tools. There is a classification and the characterization of the most frequently used tool materials in the first part. The second part describes the classification of tool steel according to various criteria, a tool steel production, heat treatment, the structure and the properties of steel used for tools. The last part is focused on the description of the types of tool steel that are classified according to their use in practice.

Analysis and production of a part from an injection mold

The aim of the thesis was to make a 3D model of the injection mold for injection moulding machine, to determine the production process and to evaluate the technical and economic aspects. The first part describes the input parameters, which need to be clarified and determined before the construction of the tool. In the second part the individual parts of the injection mold and their solutions are analyzed. The third part of the thesis deals with the creation of a 3D model of mold. The program in which the model was created and the main features of the program.The fourth part describes the production process with a description of each operation.What part of the mold is the given operation introduced, what to do with the operation and why this operation has been selected. In the fifth part, two of the production operations, namely roughing and EDM, are analyzed. The sixth part describes the technical aspects that are necessary for the construction of the tool and the evaluated economic aspect. The last part summarizes the main data from the whole work.

Technology Design of a Selected Part and Application of the Designed Changes in the Manufacturing Process

This master thesis deals with a design of technological process description for a mechanical engineering part called „pressure plate“. The component is analyzed in regards to its mechanical engineering design and used material. Some brief theoretical prerequisites for an effective solution of the problem are summarized in the paper. A detailed research of current technological methods is provided, together with an analysis of the State-of-the-Art in manufacturing, introduction of technological possibilities of the company and a timeline records of the manufacturing process. In regards to the current methods and technologies, changes to the technological process are applied. Among these changes is a unification of machinery used in the process. This leads to an innovation of the methodology and the ways to clamp the component. Other applied alternations focus on a stabilization of the drilling process, which is reached by a choice of new tools and adjustment of cutting parameters. Furthermore, a variable coding of tools in case of automatic tool change is designed. This paper then provides two possible solutions based on proposed changes and alternations. These solutions, together with the tools mentioned, are subjects to a techno-economical assessment.

Implementation of information system

This diploma thesis deals with the implementation of an information system for the operational management of small engineering companies with a focus on custom manufacturing. The thesis describes the current state of production control without support of the information system. Based on the identified shortcomings, the requirements and criteria for the new information system were developed. Then the selection of the information system and its implementation during production is dissected. At the end of the thesis there is described the production control with the support of the selected information system and the economic evaluation for acquisition of the information system.
