Zjišťování účinnosti opatření na omezení znečišťování ovzduší na základě snížení negativních účinků polutantů na složky ŽP a lidské zdraví

Zpráva o řešení projektu v roce 2003 byla z důvodu velkého rozsahu rozdělena do tří samostatných svazků. Svazek I obsahuje zprávy z jednotlivých dílčích úkolů řešených Ekotoxou Opava, SVÚOM Praha a EGÚ Praha. Dílčí úkol Ekotoxy Opava je rozdělen do částí: Hodnocení vývoje emisí síry, dusíku a VOC v České republice s ohledem na účinnost dosavadních legislativních opatření a plnění závazků snižování emisí stanovené protokoly k úmluvě LRTAP, Modelování prostorové distribuce emisí amoniaku na území České republiky, Imisní koncentrace oxidu siřičitého, oxidů dusíku, přízemního ozonu a atmosférická depozice síry, dusíku a acidity na území České republiky, Hodnocení degradace půdy jako důsledku atmosférické depozice a vlivy degradačních procesů na ostatní složky ekosystémů - využití metodologie kritických zátěží. Dílčí úkol SVÚOM se zabývá mapováním účinků znečištění ovzduší na materiál. V části EGÚ Praha jsou charakterizované emisní zdroje a je analyzována emisní situace těžkých kovů v České republice. Cílem je shrnout účinnost dosavadních legislativních opatření pro omezování emisí.

Cílem řešení projektu je novelizace sběrného programu a jeho úpravy v souladu s novým zákonem o ochraně ovzduší č. 86/2002 Sb., ze dne 12. března 2002. Jedná se především o změny číselníků a ukazatelů, zlepšení grafické úpravy programu a zvýšení uživatelského komfortu, úpravy tištěných formulářů, zdokonalení kontrolních funkcí a vazeb a zabudování funkce pro odeslání souhrnné provozní evidence v elektronické podobě na pracoviště OEZ ČHMÚ Praha prostřednictvím elektronické pošty

CzechCarbo - studium cyklu uhlíku v terestrických ekosystémech ČR

Projekt CzechCarbo představuje integrační projekt řešící problematiku studia cyklu uhlíku v terestrických ekosystémech ČR s využitím metodických přístupů umožňujících pochopit, predikovat a oceňovat bilanci uhlíku v ČR . Projekt je rozdělen do 8 pracovních segmentů: 1: Scénáře vývoje klimatu na území ČR s ohledem na globální změnu klimatu. 2. Studium mechanismů fyziologických procesů kontrolujících příjem a metabolismus uhlíku (účinkové procesové studie). 3. Rozvoj observační sítě "fluxes towers" umožňujících sledovat toky CO2 v základních typech ekosystémů ČR (lesy, louky, mokřady, agro-ekosystémy). 4. Zdokonalení regionálního území (území ČR) systému pro stanovení uhlíkové bilance terestrických (především lesních) ekosystémů, který lze použít při verifikaci a naplňování závěrů Kjótského protokolu. 5. Vypracování metodologie, která by byla schopna předpovídat budoucí vývoj a chování terestrických uhlíkových "sinků" v měřítku ČR. 6. Management lesních, lučních, mokřadních, vodních ekosystémů a agroekosystémů, snižující důsledky GHG (skleníkových plynů) a zvyšující příjem a ukládání C v krajině. 7. Změny koloběhu uhlíku v kontextu změny využití krajiny ČR (resp. globálních společenských a přírodních změn). 8. Sociální a ekonomické důsledky globální změny klimatu s ohledem na "land-use changes" a strategické chování společnosti.

DU01-1.E4 Návrh a zahájení ověřovacích měření v oblastech vymezených v DU02-2, kde je dle směrnice 96/62/EC povinné měření, ale kde měřicí stanice stávající sítě chybí. DU01-1.E5 Návrh optimalizované sítě monitoringu kvality ovzduší. DU01-2.E4+5 Optimalizace některých statistických vlastností měřicí sítě PM10 metodami prostorové statistiky. Analýza kovarianční struktury dat PM10. DU01-3.E4 Návrh systému provozu a obsluhy vzorkovačů PM10 a PM2,5. DU01-3.E5 Zhodnocení monitorování VOCs, POPs a těžkých kovů na stanici EMEP.

The theory of rent-seeking and the public procurement in the Czech Republic in years 1993 - 2011

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the development of legal and institutional framework of the public procurement in the Czech Republic from 1993 to 2011 and on the basis of this analysis to determine their influence on rent seeking in the public procurement. The main problems of the public procurement in the CR are also discussed in this thesis. The process of awarding and execution of the public procurement is very topical. A hundred of billions from public funds are yearly spent through the public procurement in the CR. Currently, the intense debate about the influence and importance of the public procurement act amendment are taking place. The theoretical part covers the general theory of rent seeking. The basic characteristic together with the economical aspects of the public procurement are also explained here. The analytical part is focused on the development of legal framework of the public procurement from 1993 to 2011. The main accent is put on the defining of the space for rent seeking during awarding, execution and follow-up control of the public procurement. The development of institutional framework of the public procurement arrangements in the CR, namely the activities of the Office for the Protection of Competition, the Supreme Audit Office and the Ministry of Regional Development, are defined in this part. Further, the main problems of the public procurement in the CR together with their possible solutions are described here. The thesis uses the method of comparison of the different public procurement acts which were implemented during the years 1993-2011 including the comparison of the institutional framework in order to detect the positive and negative influence on the rent seeking in the public procurement.

International marketing strategy of soft drink Guaraná Antarctica

The thesis deals with the marketing strategy of Brazilian brand of soft drinks Guaraná Antarctica. Fisrt it describes the brand marketing strategy in the domestic market in Brazil and its entry to international markets. Furthermore the thesis analyzes market opportunities of this brand of drinks with guarana extract in Czech Republic and evaluate the trasfer of marketing strategies to Czech environment. As a result changes to the marketing strategy in order to improve brand's position on the Czech market are proposed.

INTERNATIONALIZATION OF INNOVATION IN SMEs AS A STRATEGIC CHOICE: THE CZECH CASE

With the growing competition both on domestic and on international markets, SMEs face very specific challenges to sustain in their activity. A strategy to gain a competitive edge can be to internationalize innovative activities. In this work the internationalization of innovation is reflected in the context of SMEs. This is done in the first step by making a connection between research on SMEs, on Internationalization and on R&D and subsequently building a theoretical framework. In the second step, the innovative activity of a Swiss firm's Czech subsidiary is investigated on a case-study basis from the perspective of the suggested theoretical framework. The main contribution of this work to research is that it puts in a research field, which is dominated by large enterprises, the focus on SMEs.

Porovnání konkurenceschopnosti turistických destinací v České republice a ve Slovinsku

This diploma thesis deals with the benchmarking method and its practical use in continuous process of destinations' competitiveness enhancement. It describes the importance of tourism for destination's development and increasing need of its management, in order to become more competitive. Revealing the key factors of success that are created by destinations' competitive advantages enables destinations to keep or even to strengthen their position on the international tourism market. The main goal of the thesis is to apply the benchmarking method as a tool for an analysis and comparison of selected competitiveness factors of the Czech and Slovene tourist destinations from the Austrian tourists' point of view. Based on the analysis results, the particular competitive advantages of the Czech Republic and Slovenia are determined and commented.

Asylum policy of the Czech Republic within the EU

This thesis addresses asylum policy from an ethical perspective. The research question is whether the asylum policy of the EU and Czech Republic needs to be as restrictive as it is at the moment. The thesis examines several theoretical approaches to asylum policy, with emphasis in ethical issues. From this perspective, the humanitarian principle is drawn and subsequently applied to the current EU and Czech asylum policy. The hypothesis is that it is possible to adopt a more flexible and open asylum policy in the EU and Czech Republic, with very limited impact on the national and supranational expenditures. The core part of the thesis presents a critical evaluation of EU and Czech asylum policy. The aim of the thesis is to elaborate specific practical recommendations for the future development of the EU and Czech asylum policy.

The EU Sport Policy (implication on the Czech Republic)

This thesis analyzes EU Sport Policy and implicates this policy in some aspects on the Czech Republic. Thesis is divided into three main parts -- in the first part there are described theoretical approaches to the sport and the relationship between sport and public diplomacy. In the second part there is an analysis of the EU Sport Policy itself -- its development, the most important documents connected with sport, with an overlap into future. The third, practical, part describes development and specificity of Czech sport, analyzes the problem of financing in Czech sport and shows the connection of european and Czech dimension in sport. The third part also discusses, how could possibly the EU Sport Policy help to the Czech Sport Policy, or how could the Czech traditional sport background help the EU Sport Policy.
