The influence of music therapy on stability and reactibility of vertebrogenic patients as viewed by a physiotherapist Objectivisation by the posturography

The therapy of vertebral issues is nowadays (at the present time) an inherent part of the physiotherapist's work. The main aim of this study is to find out, if we are able to change stability and reactibility of patients with vertebral issues by using selected elements of musical therapy. As an ulterior aim I chose to evaluate respondent's subjective feelings about changes in their vertebral issues and to compare advantages and disadvantages of integrating musical therapy into therapeutical unit. In the theoretical part I am writing about musical therapy as a branch of science which is trying to find its place in our health care. I am also writing about postural motor skills, posturography as an objectiv evaluating method and about vertebral issues with its etiology. An important chapter in this theoretical part is about psychosomatics, which often causes back pain. For practical part of the theses I prepared 10 musical therapy sessions. Main aim of these sessions was to influent musculosceletal system, reactibility and stability of respondents. To evaluate objectively the results the posturography was used. Materials used to fulfill ulterior aims were taken by a questionnaire.
Use of Recorder in Musicotherapy - Žilka's Method

This thesis deals with Žilka's method - the use of recorder in musicotherapy. It consists of the basic facts about the influence of sound and healthy breathing on human's mind and body. It describes life and activities of Czech flute player and music teacher Václav Žilka, who brought the recorder to light in the 2nd half of 20th century. Introductory part of the thesis focuses on historical background. The practical part mentions the Žilka's method that includes the analysis of flute practice book Veselé pískání - zdravé dýchání, practical comments, breath exercises and musico-educational projects for children. The example of breath exercise and chronology of Žilka's life is an important appendices. Key words: Recorder, musicotherapy, children, respiratory diseases.
Orthopedagogic Music Therapy

In this work I'm describing the genesis of music therapy, the types and forms. The work is focused on orthopedagogic music therapy. You can find information how to access to clients with disabilities and techniques and games for use in orthopedagogic music therapy practically. Most knowledge comes from my own experience, all the techniques I have already applied in use. I was underpinned by the professional literature. The aim is to present a comprehensive view of orthopedagogic music therapy focused on the use of that knowledge and methods of work with handicapped clients.
Sense perception of people with autism

SUMMARY: Aim of my bachelor thesis is typology of autism spectrum disorders and use of musicotherapy for these people. I have achieved the aim by using scientific literature, consultations with specialists and by personal experiences. After studying the literature I have reached very positive conclusion. Musicotherapy leaded by specialists has considerable impact on some people with autism spectrum disorders.
Quality in Practice of Czech Music Therapists

Master thesis Quality in Practice of Czech Music Therapists deals with the theoretical and empirical research of the quality-in-practice-of-Czech-music-therapists phenomenon. This is realized both in the national and the European context. It develops the previous thesis Recent directions in Czech Music Therapy and focuses on monitoring the process of professionalization. Theoretical part of the thesis is divided into four sections. First section discusses the quality in general. It introduces systems of quality management and methods of detection. It gives an overview of the quality in the sectors of the economy where music therapy is implemented. Second section deals with the music therapy and especially the Czech music therapy. It replies the following questions: Who is music therapist? What are the recent directions of the music therapy? And the key personalities? It introduces current development stage in field: the stage of institutialization. Third section deals with the European music therapy and its relationship to quality. Fourth section monitors quality in the field of Czech music therapy and related expressive therapies. Influences of Playing the Violin on Health

The bachelor thesis “Influences of Playing the Violin on Health” deals with violin playing issues from musical and physiological point of view. The aim of the work is to introduce most common health problems that trouble professional violinists and to point out health hazards of orchestral player’s profession. A reader is informed about a basic posture of particular parts of the body during playing the violin. There are also mentioned reasons of various character that negatively influence physical and psychological point of a musician and there is a summary of chosen health complications, mainly focused on a musculoskeletal system of a player. Final chapter is dedicated to the prevention of violinists’ health problems that should become a natural part of their lives.
