Solution of optimization problems with non-decreasing constraints.
Pavlíček, Ondřej ; Zimmermann, Karel (advisor) ; Palata, Jan (referee)
The content of this work is a presentation of algorithms solving optimization problems with a max-separable objective function of the form f(x) = maxjJ fj (xj), where fj are continuous unimodal functions. The optimization problems are solved under constraints, which are described by a system of (max,+)-linear equations and inequalities with variables occurring on both sides of the constraints. In Chapter 6, a modification of this problem with different variables on each side of the constraints is studied. Chapter 7 deals with problems, in which the constraint coefficients may be infinite. The work is based on results contained in previous publications, in which was shown that if the set of feasible solutions of the optimization problems considered here is nonempty, it has always the greatest element. The algorithms suggested in this work begin with this greatest element and decrease step by step the objective function without leaving the feasible set. The method proceeds in a certain sense by analogy with the method of feasible directions. Proofs of correctness of the algorithms and some results concerning computational complexity, as well as a computer implementation are included in the concluding part of the work.

Dynamika živých organismů
Vondrák, Marek ; Pelikán, Josef (advisor) ; Kavan, Ladislav (referee)
The computer animation of articulated figures is one of the most interesting and the most developing areas of the modern computer graphics. The goal of this thesis is to get the reader acquainted with the theory of constrained rigid body simulation, which is subsequently used to construct a generic rigid body simulator with constraints and friction and the figure library suitable for the animation of articulated human-like figures. Articulated figures are represented by sets of rigid bodies (segments) connected by joints and their motion is determined by the dynamics of the corresponding segments. Additional constraints, specifying e.g. desired angles at joints or the positions of selected sites on the surface of the figure segments, allow to control the figure motion. A rich set of interactive demonstration examples presents the features of the actual simulator and the capabilities of the figure library to process motion capture data (replay motion capture data, adapt the data to external influences, map the "raw" motion capture data to the motion of figure segments, etc).

Evolutionary development of robotic organisms
Leibl, Marek ; Mráz, František (advisor) ; Holan, Tomáš (referee)
This work introduces a system for an evolutionary design of virtual organisms capable of effective movement in a simulated environment. The morphology and the control system are simultaneously developed by an evolutionary algorithms. The system also allows to design organisms in an editor and evolution of the control system with an immutable morphology. The quality evaluation and viewing of evolved organisms is done in a simulated 3D physical environment. The work put stress on the optimization of time and computing complexity of the evolutionary process. This optimization is achieved by using symmetry of organisms and their movement with HyperNEAT-generative encoding of synaptic values. Further optimization is achieved by limiting the variety of mutual module connections and focusing on the harmonic movement of organisms.

This theses, called "Chances and restrains in social worker's profession in Ústí region" is dealing with social worker's profession in self-government context. It's setting off social workers from non-profit organizations. During beginning it's talking about theoretical basis, inevitably bound with social work's field, with focusing on social worker as part of assisting profession. It is, in particular, about opportunities or on the contrary about restrains/limits/barriers, which affects this field of specific self- governing area - Štětí city. Concretely it is about participants, which have here influence on life of local people/potential clients. All under surveillance of superior agency - higher self-government area - social work's methodologists of Ústí region. Research part of this thesis is based on semi-structured interview of previously mentioned participants, which gives overlook how each and every one of them sees limitations in practical social work's overlooks. Time Lapse from Stationary Camera Image
Turek, Lukáš ; Bařina, David (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
The topic of this master's thesis is the time lapse from stationary camera images. Unwanted phenomena, which arise in time lapse, were analyzed and algorithms to overcome these limitations were designed. The algorithms were implemented and compared using the captured dataset. The resulting application creates time lapse from the video input and allows users to choose the processing technique including the setting of appropriate parameters.

Optimization of the FE model by experimental modal analysis.

Optimizing the distribution of participants in summer camps
Hlavenka, Vojtěch ; Kuncová, Martina (advisor) ; Skočdopolová, Veronika (referee)
The aim of the thesis is the mathematical model, which is capable to divide participants of large summer camps into groups, according to specific limitations. The first part describes the economics model and all valid conditions. The second part is devoted to theoretical description. There are mentioned the basics of mathematical programming and the basic of working with Excel and VBA. The thesis describes only actually used methods. The following third part shows the final form of the model. So the reader doesn´t have to go through the whole process, described in the fourth part. There is a model testing in the fourth part, especially with the help of the Excel Solver. The problems are sold immediately. That is the reason why the fifth part can be used for implementation of working environment, which allows the end user to run the model without any significant knowledge of the issue. The app uses the wide possibilities of VBA. The sixth part briefly describes other add-ins, that are able to solve mathematical problem. The conclusion summarizes all the previous parts and offeres solution, that would be used in real application of the thesis.

Creation of unusual tours for travel agency
Preiningerová, Denisa ; Navrátilová, Miroslava (advisor) ; Zuzana, Zuzana (referee)
Thesis is focused on creating tours for new or already existing travel agency, which should reach its new potential clients. This mainly includes students and graduates who are facing financial constraints due to lack of time devoted to studies and practice. Trips offered are also designed for adventure tourism enthusiasts and sports activities. The goal of the travel agency is to offer and authentic experience with sufficient freedom of self time management. The first part describes basic theoretical background compiled through the analysis and compilation of information from scientific literature and Internet sources. The practical part is divided into three sector. First, is an analysis of the competitive environment, followed by a questionnaire survey investigating the relationship of potential customers for unconventional tourism. Finally, two sample tours are constructed and calculated which could become a new product of the travel agency. The result is an evaluation whether the tours would be feasible in the described form or whether there is a theoretical interest in them.
