Home automation
Taufer, Pavel ; Mareš, Martin (advisor) ; Ježek, Pavel (referee)
We design an unified system for home management and monitoring -- for example controlling lights, thermostat, roller blinds, etc. We research various methods of communication with devices used in home automation. We design an unified interface for communication with said devices independent on specific hardware. Then we implement the designed abstraction, a set of specific automation software and a graphical user interface. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Object Oriented Library for Controlling an e-Puck Robot
Plátek, Ondřej ; Mráz, František (advisor) ; Černo, Peter (referee)
E-Puck is an educational robot with differential drive and it is sufficiently equipped with sensors. The result of present thesis is the C# object oriented Elib library, which allows to control an e-Puck robot from a host computer over the Bluetooth wireless technology. The model examples in the TestElib console application presents the usage of the Elib library in program for the e-Puck robot. Moreover, it offers a comfortable system of help and documentation. Enclosed sets of tools allows more effective debugging of programs, which use the Elib library.
Remote Lift Malfunction Diagnostics
Weisser, Filip ; Husák, Jiří (referee) ; Fučík, Jan (advisor)
The objective of this bachelor's thesis was to apprise with the elevator control unit and to design a conventer to communicate with a server. Next objective was to design a program to collect and store information sent by the elevator control unit and visualize it. This communication runs through the TCP/IP protocol and data are stored in a database and visualized through a web interface. Testing was done by a control unit, which partially replaces the elevator system.
Remote Access to Mobile Devices
Bobula, Vladimír ; Rychlý, Marek (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
This thesis deals with remote access to mobile devices with the Android system and their remote control possibilities. The aim was to create the interface for mobile devices remote control by remote desktop and also for changing mobile device's settings remotely. I focused on the utility of remote control for assistance in mobile devices usage. The solution was to create an application with the control interface, then application being controlled, and the server enabling communication between them. The server has been created with use of the Node.js technology. Socket.io library has been used for enabling communication between applications in real time. The remote desktop utilizes sending of screenshots and its clicks coordinates. These clicks on the remote device are executed by hidden API. Remote settings change uses API of Android SDK. It has been managed to develop the system that enable the control of the Android device and also to change its settings, both remotely.
Mobile applications development for remote control of instrumentation
Macek, Michal ; Křivík, Petr (referee) ; Frk, Martin (advisor)
The presented work describes the growing trend of using mobile devices to control laboratory instruments and displaying of measured data. The main objective is the application development for mobile devices, which will allow to remotely control and measure with laboratory instruments. The practical part is focused to programming mobile application which will be able by using the local network to connect multiple laboratory instruments, setting them for different types of measurements and then display measured data.
Radio Controled Tracked Vehicle Model
Ctibor, Jiří ; Knobloch, Jan (referee) ; Klíma, Bohumil (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is the design and creation of manufacturing documentation DC drive for the tracked vehicle model with remote control, its design, programing and inspirit. To create a manufacturing documentation it’s needed to be familiar with the design program for printed circuit boards Altium Designer. Program of the microprocessor will be created in CodeWarrior development environment in the C language. To design circuits were used generally datasheets of components. The proposal consists of several functional peripheral units that provide various functions needed. For control the circuit is used a digital signal processor aimed at applications in the motor drives.
Remote control for quadrotor
Růžička, Jiří ; Jílek, Tomáš (referee) ; Gábrlík, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the design of the remote control for Quadrotor. The goal of project is design and practical implementation of the motherboard as a replacement of retired gamepad, which will allow wireless control of Quadrotor and show telemetry on display.
Use of mobile platforms Android for instruments control
Macek, Michal ; Šteffan, Pavel (referee) ; Frk, Martin (advisor)
The present work describes current trends and modern methods using mobile devices to operate laboratory equipment and subsequent measurements. The main objective is create application for mobile devices running on Android system, which will be remotely controlled and measured with instruments in the laboratory. Practical activities are focused on programming mobile application that can remotely laboratory device contact, set for different types of measurements supported device and then read the measurement data from the device to a mobile device.
Remote control of FPGA-based embedded system
Král, Jan ; Stejskal, Vojtěch (referee) ; Kubíček, Michal (advisor)
The bachelor’s project looks into the development of a part of Digitizer embedded system. The design is focused on the usage of FPGA-based processor managing the remote control operations and on the achievement of the sufficient bitrate for transmitting data to the ethernet network. The project summarizes used solutions and evaluates their applicability in the developed system. Matching concepts of solved problems are designed properly; in most cases they associate positive properties of used solutions. The implementations of MicroBlaze processor system and chosen modules were performed into the target device and the desired characteristics were measured with successful outcome.
Keeloq System Experiments
Kočíř, Michal ; Hajný, Jan (referee) ; Strašil, Ivo (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with security issues in wireless control. On this basis the laboratory task for experiments with Keeloq system is designed. The concept of laboratory task is justified and supplemented by processed documentation. In the first part of this thesis the principles of security and transfer of information for wireless technology are described. In the second part KeeLoq system is analysed. There are the principles of encoding and decoding of transmission of KeeLoq system telegrams described. KeeLoq 3 Development Kit of Microchip company is used for description of encoding and decoding. The next section deals with an attack on KeeLoq system by "brutal force", which is also demonstrated by generated code in programming language C. The third part provides the concept of laboratory tasks that includes introductory meditation, discussion on assigned elements, content and structure of laboratory task. Finally, the fourth part contains the documentation of lab experiments with KeeLoq system, whereby students work out laboratory task.
