Sociálně-právní problematika rozhodování o umístění dítěte do náhradní péče 72 Summary Social and legal questions of decision making about substitute for family care The purpose of my thesis is to analyze social and legal questions of decision making about substitute for family care. The thesis is composed of eight chapters, each of them dealing with different aspects of substitute for family care. Chapter One is introductory and defines basic terminology used in the thesis: the children's right to be brought up by biological parents, the parental responsibility and the substitute for family care. Chapter Two describes legal regulation of social work in the area of child care and the competence of appropriate public administration bodies. Chapter Three concentrates on social work with biological family, especially prevention and counseling, because it should be the fundamental part of social work. Third part of this chapter deals with the right of search in the light of the right of privacy. Chapter Four focuses on the procedure of taking children away from their biological parents and its main deficiencies in practice. Sleep-or What Rules are Necessary to be Observed to Enable a Child to Sleep Well

This text is about the right principles when we are asleep in the night - time. I wont to speak about a group of children from birth to six years old. In the first chapter I write about sleep physiology. It is very important because it can show why the bed - time is indispensable. In the second chapter I speak about different periods of child 's evolution. I define sleep and how the different phases are followed. The next important chapter includes ten rules for drowse. It is: sureness and safety, rhythm and little corner, calm atmosphere and rituals, authority and limits, protection for temporal environment, daily and nightly sleep and their differences, the contact, self - asserting for parents and unity, fears of the situation, different necessaries of drowse. In the practical part I speak about two kinder - gardens and try to note observation into those schools. In these schools I evaluate how teachers approach to children when they have to sleep. In practical part there is deal with problem of influence of three kindergartens on motor evolution of children, who attend these kindergartens, in point of view of reached level of motor abilities and skills in chosen tests.

The Support of the Relationship towards Art in the Elementary Education.

The Bachelor thesis concerns the issues of the Czech educational system and its interconnection with the art. It points out certain imperfections of the contemporary system and it gives examples of educational initiatives from abroad. The theoretical part includes the characteristic of factors that affect the amount of culture capital, which directly influences the well-being of the whole society. On the grounds of a long-term research done by the National Information and Advisory Centre for Culture is described in what way the art activities influence the personality and value preferences of the child. The practical part includes a research that focuses on the teaching of the aesthetic-educational subjects in Kutna Hora. This research refers about relatively positive progress.

Baby talk - The appearance of classifiers of Czech sign language in deaf child's signing

This bachelor thesis is focused on using classifiers of czech sign language by deaf children from deaf families. Within the framework of the research which was focused on acquiring handle classifiers and entity classifiers, the work describes what concrete classifiers observed children used in their utterance and what mistakes they did. That is done in means of individual examples. A part of the thesis is given to a brief abstract of general knowledge about the evolution of sign language among deaf children and spoken language among children that hear. The analogical congruent elements observed in ontogenesis of both languages are also included. Basic information about classifiers of czech sign language and their types is listed too. During the work detailed data about acquiring classifiers of sign languages obtained from foreign resources are given.

A Second Child in the Family - the Consequences of Changing Family and Fertility Patterns in the Czech Republic Anna Šťastná Abstract The theme of this study is the two-child family model and second order births in the context of a changing Czech society. The study investigates the conditions and context surrounding the birth of a second child and the general values associated with children and focuses on selected factors associated with the decision-making process surrounding having a second child including the factors that a woman takes into account when deciding whether to have another child. Furthermore, the author studies the determinants of having a second child in Czech society and the relationship between the likelihood of the birth of a second child and different micro-level covariates and attempts to provide an explanation of the processes acting upon second childbearing through interaction with education and partnerships/union dynamics. Preparation of a preschool child for the entrance to elementary school

This dissertation adresses the issue of preparation and readiness of a preschool child before his/her entrance to elementary school. The theoretical part is divided into four chapters. The first chapter is concerned with the definitions of basic terms, such as school maturity and school readiness. The second chapter is dedicated to developmental psychology of a preschool child. The third chapter is concerned with diagnosis of a preschool child from the position preschool education, and the last chapter is centered on a child at risk in elementary school. The practical part is dedicated to qualitative experimental investigation which obser- ves the advancement of teak parts in selected sample of children from normal and spe- cial class of kindergarten school and it is supported by an intervention program.

The quality assurance of the children footwear during production

The theme of this paper is "The quality assurance of the children footwear during production". The objective is the elevation of the difficulty and intensity of the production of the children footwear, but also to find the key for the customer - how to choose the right footwear for the child. Children foot is very sensitive and could be easily damaged during a very short period so having good shoes is really important. First, I will explain the footwear theory, then I will focuse on the czech legislation and finally what the czech producer can do so that the small customer would receive good quality shoes.

Vojta method in neonatology

This bachelor work occupies itself with the use of Vojta's method in neonathology and at the children with some genetic defect. In the introduction there is a definition of Vojta's method, along with its origin, exploitation and means that are used in order to achieve the best results. There is also a kinetic evolution of the child and tests, thanks to which it is possible to determinate what is wrong within the evolution. Moreover, a specialised branch of medicine - neonatology is mentioned there, which demonstrates its use in modern medicine, basic terms referring to this branch and the first examination of the newborn. In the practical part an examination by the physiotherapist is described, which defines, which part of the Vojta's method will be used in order to achieve the best results at the cure. In the enclosure there are photographs of the chosen children the research is based on and these photographs show, how the examinations and the therapies should be performed.

The Prevention of Specific Breakdowns in the Learning of Children with Interruptions in School Attendance

Children's school failures is one of the basic themes of pedagogical and psychological literatuře. Experts realize that remedy of learning faults cannot be oriented only at their expression, but that is necessary to watch chilďs education in the whole and in complexity of the problém. All the signs of the learning failures evoke no success in the pupil and they will project in his school work. They disable him to understand teacheťs instructions, to do ordinary tasks and to work in optimal rate. Unsuccess in the school work project on to chilďs psyche, influence his self-regard, they can evoke feelings of fear and aversion to the school work. Failures in learning influence even the situation in the family of the child. Iťs obvious, that the best remedy of the specifíc learning disability is to prevent them and so the research is recently aiming on the prevention the learning failures in the pre-school age. In this age can be eliminated particular deficits in the evolution of the child, which could be a sign of the start of the learning failure after entering the school. The Knowledge of learning failures' signs and their remedy should come to awareness of the teachers and parents.
