Uncovering opportunities and threats for the selected company

The aim of this thesis was to identify opportunities and threats for the selected company and suggest to company uses the information. In the practical part of the thesis it was used marketing situational analysis that examines the internal and external environment of the selected company. Information from the analyzes were summarized and evaluated in a SWOT analysis.SWOT analysis revealed the strengths and weaknesses of the company, opportunities and threats. In conclusion was suggested several recommendations on the use of collected information

Development and Application of Planning Model in Automotive Supplier Industry

Planning is an indispensable component of successful management, either in the automotive supplier industry or elsewhere. Through planning, the company formulates answers to questions "where are we now", "where we could be in the future", "where do we want to be", "how do we get there" and "how do we realize that were successful". The mere existence of planning processes does not grant prosperity of the company. The value-added of planning depends substantially on its subject and form. In order that the gains are higher than the costs, it is necessary to set up proper performance indicators, planning methods and planning tools. The objective of this work is to develop a planning model reflecting the needs of Czech automotive suppliers and to present a way of how the model might be implemented in practice. The main contribution of this work lies in identification of common managerial needs in the automotive supplier industry and in suggested planning model reflecting these needs. A value might be found also in the analysis of the meaning and value of planning models and in providing guidelines for their developement.

Analysis of production process in enterprise AL INVEST Břidličná, a.s.

The bachelor thesis describes the production process and focuses on the system of planning from the point of acceptance of the order to its completion. On the basis of obtained facts it is possible to find weaknesses of system of planning the production and it tries to suggest possible steps to improve the present situation. This thesis draws attention both to the shortcomings of software for planning the production and the lack of creative and experienced workers.

Current Trends of the Sprinters Strength Preparation

SUM MARY A major objective of this dissertation was with hepl of literary sources to show and point out contemporary trends in strength preparation of sprinters, regardless of the goal of concrete training phases. The phases are planned according to the competition schedule. The further important factor of the successful planning is to know individua! strength training metods and how to incorporate them to the overall plann. The yearly training plan is an important a tool for achieving long-range athletic goals. The yearly training plan is devided into: Anatomical adaptation, the main objectives of this phase are to involve most muscle groups and to prepare the muscles, ligaments, tendons and joints for load. The duration of this phase i s 3 to 5 weeks. Maximal strength, the main objective of this phase is to develop the highest level of force possible. This is according to Charlie Francis the most important phase for sprinters. The duration of this phase should be approximately 6 to 9 weeks depend on athletes. Maintenance phase or competition phase, the main objective of this phase is to maintain the standarts achieved during the previous phases. The main goal is the competition. Human resource management is currently regarded as one of the most important areas of management of the organization. Its task is to ensure and maintain sufficient number of skilled and motivated employees and their optimum use to achieve the planned prosperity and competitiveness of the organization. This task is pursued through partial personnel activities (the creation and analysis of jobs, personnel planning, acquisition, selection, recruitment and orientation of staff, evaluation and compensation of staff, training and staff development, welfare of staff, etc.), at which securing usually recruiters and leading staff of all levels of management of the organization participate. The aim of thesis is to analyse the selected personnel activities in Sandvik Chomutov Precision Tubes spol. s r.o. and on the basis of theoretical knowledge and the data obtained to identify the strengths and weaknesses, to reason them and to try to propose alternative solutions.

Based on the findings and subsequent design of optimal strategies for the company to improve its strengths and eliminate weaknesses. The internal business environment was evaluated by analyzing the various functional areas. The analysis in individual functional areas include marketing, human resources management and financial analysis. Further, the SWOT analysis, which were determined by the strengths and weaknesses and the opportunities and threats. After processing all analyzes and controlled on the basis of an interview with a representative of an economic enterprise, proposing a strategy for possible further development of the company.
