The Evolution and the Limits of the Copyright Protection in the Global Information Society
Andruško, Alena ; Kříž, Jan (advisor) ; Dobřichovský, Tomáš (referee) ; Pítra, Vladimír (referee)
CHARLES UNIVERSITY IN PRAGUE Faculty of Law Institute of Copyright, Industrial Property Rights and Competition Law DOCTORAL DISSERTATION The Evolution and the Limits of the Copyright Protection in the Global Information Society ABSTRACT Author: Mgr. Alena Andruško Supervisor: Prof. JUDr. Dr. iur. h. c. Jan Kříž, CSc. Field of Study: Civil Law Theoretical Legal Science Year: 2015 ABSTRACT Copyright law is one of the branches of law that has become, with the development of the Internet, the center of interest for different types of stakeholders in the global information society. With the evolution of "Web 2.0", sometimes called the "Participative Web", represented by user-generated content (UGC), and also with the evolution of peer-to-peer (P2P) file sharing and recently cyberlockers, the effectiveness of copyright protection online has become a problem where solutions can be found only with difficulty. Online copyright infringement is a complex phenomenon with a multiplicity of contributing factors. To see and understand these factors one must not only know and understand the territorial and international legal rules governing copyright, but also know and understand the online ecosystem in which copyright infringement takes place, which is impossible without knowing the history, evolution and technical...

Metabolism of anthelmintics in plants
Pavlík, František ; Szotáková, Barbora (advisor) ; Vokřál, Ivan (referee)
Charles University in Prague Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Biochemical Sciences Candidate: František Pavlík Supervisor: Prof. Ing. Barbora Szotáková, Ph.D. Consultant: RNDr. Radka Podlipná, Ph.D. Title of diploma thesis: Metabolism of anthelmintics in plants Anthelmintics enter into environment mainly through excretion of treated animals. They may cause a lot of adverse effects in ecosystem as they can affect non- target animals or they can accumulate in plants. Further, after consumption of these plants by livestock on pastures the resistence of helminths can be induced. Therefore, the present study was designed to find out biotransformation of frequently used anthelmintics flubendazole (FLU), albendazole (ABZ), fenbendazole (FBZ), ivermectine (IVM) and monepantel (MOP) by the common meadow plants harebell (Campanula rotundifolia) and plantain (Plantago lanceolata), which may often come into contact with anthelmintics through the excrements of treated animals. As model systems, suspensions of harebell and plantain cells and in vitro regenerants of plantain were used. There was no toxic effect of anthelmintics for these plants; they were able to metabolize anthelmintics into a wide scale of various compounds. These metabolites were identified by ultrahigh-performance liquid...

Construction of programme: Social integration of persons threatened with unemployment and its impacts back to labour market in view of the social environment of an unemployed

Mental Condition of a Woman During Puerperium and her Adaptation to Motherhood
DIHLOVÁ, Magdalena
Pregnancy, childbirth and the period after childbirth are important stages in the life of a woman and her family. Even healthcare professionals may not realize that mental disorders quite often appear or become worse during pregnancy and the period after childbirth. A woman tends to be tired during the first days following childbirth. People do not usually understand that she may experience different emotions from feeling positive and happy as a result of delivery. Disorders during the period after childbirth include mental disorders affecting the woman during the neonatal period, breastfeeding and until her child is one year old. They may be associated with physiological changes after childbirth or problems related to adaptation to motherhood. Being a mother is quite an important role in the life of a woman: while playing that role, she learns to be in harmony with a new member of her family and assume responsibility for him or her. Biocultural relationships, such as the role of a wife and mother and the structure of the family, obviously play an important part.A quantitative survey was employed to produce the bachelor thesis, using interviews and questionnaires to collect data. The questionnaires were distributed to mothers who had completed their lying in periods in randomly selected gynecologists{\crq} offices in Prague. Each questionnaire contained 34 questions. The poll took place in March. A total of 94 mothers completed the questionnaires, which resulted in a return rate of 71.6%. The objective of the bachelor thesis was to find out about the role played by birth assistants in caring for the mental needs of women during puerperium. That objective was associated with the first assumption, which confirmed that care provided by birth assistants focused on satisfying biological rather than mental needs. The other objective was to determine the amount of information women had about mental changes during puerperium. That objective was accompanied by the second hypothesis that women were informed about mental changes during puerperium. The hypothesis was confirmed. The third objective was to examine how women adapted to their roles as mothers. That objective was tied to the third hypothesis which was concerned with planned parenting. The hypothesis confirmed that women who planned to be mothers accepted their roles as mothers better than those who did not. The fourth assumption, which dealt with a smoother adaptation to being a mother before the age of 30, was not confirmed. The bachelor thesis will help birth assistants caring for mothers in postnatal wards and child nurses and doctors as well as gynecologists whom women see after puerperium. The thesis could be a source of information and used by birth assistants and student birth assistants as an educational material.

A semi-structured interview method is used in the practical part. The research was done in one elementary school in Prague, Czech Republic. Main part of this bachelor thesis is a discussion section, where the above mentioned research is interpreted.

Business Intelligence: problem of data quality and possibilities of his solution
Cimbaľák, Michal ; Klas, Jan (advisor) ; Kejkula, Martin (referee)
Význam analytických nástrojů a především Business Intelligence neustále roste.

The thesis includes not only theoretical information gained from accessible sources of information but also from personal experience of health workers. At the same time this thesis is also aimed at the state of preparation of our health workers and health care institutions in caring for these patients.

Relationship between Structure and Biological Activity of new Modulators of Acetylcholinesterase
Komlóová, Markéta ; Doležal, Martin (advisor) ; Kuneš, Jiří (referee) ; Jampílek, Josef (referee)
Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department: Dpt. of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Drug Control Student: Mgr. Markéta Komlóová Supervisor: prof. PharmDr. Martin Doležal, Ph.D. Title of Doctoral Thesis: Relationship between structure and biological activity of new modulators of acetylcholinesterase This work focuses on the preparation of peripherally acting AChE inhibitors as a potential treatment of myasthenia gravis. These compounds could also be used as a pre- treatment of poisoning by organophosphorus AChE inhibitors. They can occupy the active site of an enzyme making it inaccessible for irreversible inhibitors. Compounds used in this indication should fulfill these requirements: inhibit efficiently AChE (standards currently used in the treatment were chosen for the comparison of the inhibitory efficacy), have selective effect on AChE and not to cross the blood-brain barrier in order to lower the possible side effects. Six series of bisquaternary compounds were prepared. Their inhibitory ability was determined in vitro against human erythrocyte or recombinant AChE and human plasmatic BChE. According to inhibitory ability values acquired, a structure - activity relationships were investigated in every series. A few compounds with significant affinity towards...

Possibilities and application of activation in chemical education
Zákostelná, Barbora ; Šulcová, Renata (advisor) ; Solárová, Marie (referee) ; Smrček, Stanislav (referee)
Possibility and Use of Activation in Chemical Education Mgr. Barbora Zákostelná Faculty of Science, Charles University in Prague, 2012 In the last decade educational curricular documents in the CR interconnected with the European Union have being changed. The structure of national education comes out of so called Lisbon trial in which the Czech Republic has participated since 2010. Before this reform there was a document 'National Programme of Education in the Czech Republic' (so called White Book) from which the new education law (No. 561/2004 of legal code) originated. One of the main parts of the reform is introduction of General Educational Programme (RVP) in education (from pre-school education up to higher secondary education). On the basis of RVP published and endorsed by the Ministry of Education each school creates its own individual School Educational Programme (ŠVP). It is just the ŠVP what makes each school different from other schools with similar type of specialization and allows them to prepare a unique schooling. Uniqueness can be also achieved by using "modern didactical technology" electronic materials and activation methods of teaching. This fact has made a basis for the questionnaire survey that is a research part of this dissertation work. A partial aim of this work was to find...
