Software Design of Single Purpose Machine for Visual Inspection
Horák, Daniel ; Krejsa, Jiří (referee) ; Štarha, Pavel (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with the fundamentals of machine vision application and its practical implementation. The research part is focused on the basic possibilities of image acquisition and image processing in different dimensions. The practical part describes the design of the dimension control algorithm using a 3D camera. This algorithm is then implemented in a single-purpose machine for optical dimension control.
Machine vision for robot guidance
Grepl, Pavel ; Szabari, Mikuláš (referee) ; Vetiška, Jan (advisor)
Master's thesis deals with the design, assembly, and testing of a camera system for localization of randomly placed and oriented objects on a conveyor belt with the purpose of guiding a robot on those objects. The theoretical part is focused on research in individual components making a camera system and on the field of 2D and 3D localization of objects. The practical part consists of two possible arrangements of the camera system, solution of the chosen arrangement, creating testing images, programming the algorithm for image processing, creating HMI, and testing the complete system.
Machin vision-based inspection of embossed texts and patterns on tubes
Záhorský, Patrik ; Holoubek, Tomáš (referee) ; Škrabánek, Pavel (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with the inspection of embossed text and patterns on plastic tubes using machine vision. Part of the work is a research part, which deals with the composition of machine vision systems and its tasks in industry, the method of digital imaging, properties, technology and use of individual system components, including a description of technical and software tools for data processing. Subsequently, the solved tasks are specified and the monitored objects are described. The design of the system consists of a description of the hardware components, their interconnection, selection of a suitable geometry and implementation into a complete assembly. The following is a proposal for solutions for specified tasks, which describes the selection of individual algorithms and the setting of their parameters. Finally, the implemented solution is tested on two different sets of samples and the results are accordingly evaluated.
Design of station for PCV filter inspection
Tecl, Michal ; Huzlík, Rostislav (referee) ; Pavlík, Jan (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with the design of a station for automatic visual inspection of the PCV valve filter. The PCV valve is part of the Common rail system, which is discussed in detail in the research part. Furthermore, the principle and capabilities of machine vision are described. In the practical part, several design variants are developed, which are further evaluated. Based on this evaluation, the most suitable variant is selected and then elaborated in detail.
Neural networks for visual classification and inspection of the industrial products
Míček, Vojtěch ; Jirsík, Václav (referee) ; Petyovský, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this master's thesis thesis is to enable evaluation of quality, or the type of product in industrial applications using artificial neural networks, especially in applications where the classical approach of machine vision is too complicated. The system thus designed is implemented onto a specific hardware platform and becomes a subject to the final optimalisation for the hardware platform for the best performance of the system.
Automated classification cell
Lahoda, Vlastimil ; Chromý, Adam (referee) ; Burian, František (advisor)
To optimize production at Tyco Electronics Czech s.r.o. I designed and implemented an automated classification cell with a collaborative manipulator Universal Robots UR5e and a Cognex camera system. The classification cell is supposed to pick up the loose parts and then optically test them, sorting the parts into output binders following the inspection results. First of all, I had to learn programming language for Universal Robots manipulators and Cognex vision system. Next step was to design and draw an electrical diagram. According to the diagram, I connected the cabinet and other peripherals. I also programmed an algorithm controlling the manipulator arm and inspecting of both cameras. Finally, I successfully tested the functionality of the entire classification cell.
Control integrated system for workpiece recognition
Vostřel, Tomáš ; Blaha, Petr (referee) ; Pivoňka, Petr (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the usage of integrated machine vision by B&R, Smart Sensor, for metal rectangular-shaped workpiece recognition and position determinition. The description of the usage of machine vision in the industry is made, the solution concept is created and the program and the user visualisation implemented. The main outcome of this work is the VITemplate library which can be used in combination with the model-based Blob analysis implemented in Smart Sensor to control the robotic arm to successfully grab all the workpieces on the belt.
Determination of Trilobot Robots Positions
Loyka, Tomáš ; Rozman, Jaroslav (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
This master's thesis is engaged in machine vision, methods of image processing and analysis. The reason is to create application to determine relative positions of Trilobot robots in the laboratory.
Design of LED lighting for industrial camera systems
Svoboda, Martin ; Honec, Peter (referee) ; Janáková, Ilona (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the development, design and construction of multispectral lighting for industrial camera systems. The lighting is conceived as a modular device consisting of two parts - a control unit, which can be communicated primarily through the Modbus TCP / IP protocol, which powers, controls and collects information about the connected lighting unit. The illumination unit is equipped with 64 intelligent RGBW light emitting diodes located in an 8x8 matrix and one control diode opposite to which light intensity sensors are placed to give feedback on the color and intensity of the light. There are two temperature sensors located between the LEDs to check the temperature of the lighting unit. Both units are housed in a robust aluminum chassis. The control unit contains a microcomputer programmed in C language
Machine vision for the check of moldings
Grepl, Pavel ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Vetiška, Jan (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis deals with the design of arrangement of an automatic inspection unit for specified products using machine vision. The theoretical part is focused on specification of the inspection system and research in the area of machine vision components, such as cameras, lens and illumination. The practical part consists of multiple possible arrangements of the inspection unit. Solutions of the chosen arrangements, including programming and testing the application using Vision Assistant software. Finally, economic evaluation of the automation of the quality inspection using machine vision has been made.
