Sýkorová, Barbora ; Žikovská, Petra (referee) ; Wünschová Pujmanová, Alexandra (advisor)
Unlawful Use of Copyrighted Work (and the Author's Fee) This graduation thesis is devoted to the issue of unlawful use of copyrighted work and to the author's fee. Currently the issue of unlawful use of copyrighted work as well as legal protection of that work is becoming much more interesting than approximately twenty / thirty years ago. This situation is caused by three main circumstances - the growth of piracy (copyrighted works like books, films, sound recordings, computer programmes and so on are widely used now, and in some states it is even very important business), the advent of satellite communication (increasingly entertainment and information services are more available) and the advent of the Internet (because of the worldwide linking of the millions of computers it is very easy to access to, copy and distribute copyrighted works). Thanks to that development the current society is going to resolve the question whether it is possible to maintain the established protection and the sources of renumeration for rightowners, or whether copyright will be engulfed in the ever-increasing electronic use of protected material. Having in mind this question the goal of this thesis is to map the system of possible legal means of protection against the unlawful use of copyrighted works in the Czech...

The KDU-ČSL in the political system of the Czech republic
Hrabalová, Daniela ; Kubišová, Zuzana (referee) ; Stracený, Josef (advisor)
The subject of my interest in this graduation thesis was to focus on one Czech political party called KDU-CSL (Christian and Democratic Party - Czechoslovak People's Party) The main part contains general view of this small but very important political party. Although KDU-CSL is not the leading political party in the Czech Republic it has a longtime history and often has played main part in Czech political system. KDU-CSL is based on Christian principles which are also mentioned in their political programme. The influence of this political party is bigger than ifs real dimension. And that is the reason why this very political party was a member in government most often of all political parties. The aim was to characterize KDU-CSL, describe its genesis and evolution, especially after 1989, organization structure and head personalities. I focused also on formation ofprogrammes and their main differences since 1989. First two chapters contain mainly theories and definitions of political parties. The second chapter deals with Christian political parties including KDU-CSL. Next part is aimed only at KDU-CSL (genesis and evolution especially after 1989 in context of evolution of the whole Czech political system). As an outcome follows a prognosis for KDU-CSL. Another chapter deals with internal structure,...

Household school, it's history, development and the future in the future in the Czech Republic in the eyes of the studies alumnae
Hylová, Petra ; Havelková, Hana (advisor) ; Smetáčková, Irena (referee)
The topic of my thesis is the Household school, its history, development and its future in the Czech Republic as seen through the eyes of graduates. In this thesis I examine the Household school also as an institution, especially its history, function and its integration into the system of education. Using available materials, I compare the curricula and plans of individual programmes over various periods of time. Beyond the integration of the Household school into the Czech Republic's education system, I focused on the Household school's alumnae, who studied this field in various periods of the last century, and my target was to obtain their statement. I was interested mainly in their motivation to the study of this field, their expectation and then, consequently, comparison of these expectations with the reality. As an interesting result seems the view of this field in the society which the alumnae met with while the looking for a job on the market. For this purpose, I organised personal meetings and interviews with these alumnae. As one of the alumnae of this programme, I compared my own experience with the experience of the research's participants and for the evaluation of the form and atmosphere I used my own gender sensitivity.
