Atypical Forms of Employment
Machala, Jan ; Morávek, Jakub (referee)
The thesis deals with atypical forms of employment, from their definition, through legal regulation to their use in practice. Atypical employment is a highly topical issue in labour law. This is confirmed by the development in the European Union countries, where an increasingly clear shift from the typical employment relationship model to atypical forms of employment can be observed. Atypical employment can be a tool to promote higher employment rate, flexible adaptation to the requirements of the labour market and reconciliation of work and family life. The thesis consists of an introduction, three chapters systematically divided into subchapters, and a conclusion. The first chapter deals with the development of labour law in the Czech Republic. The second chapter deals with labour law in the sense of its concept, subject and position in the legal system. The core part of the thesis is its third chapter, which deals with selected atypical forms of employment regulated by the Czech legal system. It analyses agreements on work performed outside the employment relationship, temporary assignment, agency employment, temporary employment, part-time work, job sharing and performing work from home. After an assessment of atypical forms of employment, considerations are presented on the possibilities for...

Závozda, Lukáš ; Vysokajová, Margerita (advisor) ; Štefko, Martin (referee)
The topic of the thesis is agency employment. Due to its flexibility and the current situation on the Czech labour market struggling with a labour shortage, agency employment is a frequently used and necessary part of the Czech legal system. In the Czech legal regulation of agency employment, however, we find a number of problematic areas, as a result of which, among other things, the rights of employees temporarily assigned by employment agencies may be jeopardized and insufficiently ensured, or, on the contrary, entrepreneurs operating employment agencies may be unnecessarily burdened. The main goal of this diploma thesis is to describe the problematic aspects of the Czech legislation in the field of agency employment with an emphasis on the legal regulation of the establishment and operation of employment agencies and selected frequently violated or problematic obligations in the field of agency employment relations, in relevant cases to compare these problematic aspects with foreign legal systems and propose a possible corresponding amendments to the Czech legislation. Identification of opportunities and threats for the selected company
ŠÍMA, Martin
The diploma thesis deals with opportunities and threats identification in a particular company. To detect its opportunities and threats, the company has to analyse micro and macro environment, at first. In order to analyse company's macro environment, the STEP analysis is used. The STEP analysis facilitates external factors identification and its possible effects on a company in the near future. The micro environment analysis is carried out by The Porter's model of five competitive forces in the industry, supplemented by points and comparison of the largest competitors. At the same time, An analysis of selected financial indicators is performed, which together with Porter's model of five competitive forces in the sector reveals the company's strengths and weaknesses. After processing all the information and subsequent evaluation using SWOT analysis, recommendations are proposed. These eliminate hidden threats and take advantage of the opportunities, which the agency employment market undoubtedly offers.

- Agency employment The name of my diploma thesis is the agency employment. Nowadays, the institute of agency employment is a widespread phenomenon on the labour market. It is a very popular institution for employees as well as for employers, which is being changed under the demand of society needs and according to valid legislation. I have chosen this topic due to its timeliness and flexibility with which the agency employment reacts to the growing unemployment rate. Since the capacity of the agency employment is very vast, this diploma thesis aims to approach the fundamental issues and concepts relating to it. The thesis is divided into 6 chapters dealing with different aspects of agency employment. The first chapter provides the basic notions of agency employment, defines key terms associated to it. The second chapter focuses on the historical development of agency employment. It also outlines the view of international adjustment of agency employment, gives a short excursion into European legislation and provides an approach of the valid legislation in the Czech Republic. The main institution that is in charge of agency employment is an agency of labour; therefore the third chapter is dedicated to the institution of agency of labour. This chapter specifies its position with respect to the...
Agency employment
Tomčíková, Ilona ; Pichrt, Jan (advisor) ; Bělina, Miroslav (referee)
- Agency Employment For my thesis topic, I have chosen "Agency Employment". It's a relatively young institute, which was incorporated into our legal system only on October 1st, 2004. I believe that Agency Employment topic can be always considered current and positive, because it allows us to flexibly react to the needs of the job market. Since the topic is very broad, the goal of this paper is not a detailed analysis of all aspects of this institute, but only a few of them that I consider to be most important. I shall present and evaluate current law governing the subject and also try to point out its flaws. I have structured the thesis into 4 chapters, further divided into subchapters. The conclusion contains summary and de lege ferenda reflections. At the beginning it is appropriate to introduce the topic, therefore the first chapter is dedicated to the Agency Employment concept and other connected topics. That includes employment mediation, license for employment mediation and dependent work. In the second chapter I examine the progress of Agency Employment law in the Czech Republic. Firstly I present the state, when this institute wasn't included in our legal system, then I put mind to the current law. This chapter includes also a detailed analysis of the International Labour Organisation...
Attitude of people to employment agency and agency employment in the Czech Republic
Lexová, Adéla ; Tuček, Milan (advisor) ; Kuchař, Pavel (referee)
Agency employment is a unique flexible tool, which is able to respond quickly to changing conditions and demands of the current labour market. It also provides flexible employment contracts and employment to risk groups in the labour market, thereby it helps to reduce unemployment. However, the flexibility of agency work is accompanied by high uncertainty. Agency employment is in the Czech Republic still underestimated and its use does not reach the level of most European countries. This may be caused by the prejudices and stereotypes of Czech society based on the generalization of the illegal activities of some employment agencies on all agencies and by the importance of job security for the majority of the Czech population. The aim was to detect and analyze the attitude of the people to the employment agencies and agency employment. Results from own representative research showed that people in the Czech Republic don't trust to employment agencies, they wouldn't use the while searching the job and they wouldn't accept the job in the form of agency employment. Their attitudes then differ depending on their own experience with agency employment, their awareness of functioning of employment agencies and sociodemographic characteristics, namely gender, education and personal income. Created typology showed...
