Graphic design of mobile and PC web applications

The objective of bachelor's thesis is to find out, how to make graphic design of mobile applications. Thesis has two parts. At the beginning is described growth of mobile application market and terms about mobile devices. After this thesis describes, what is mobile application, identify difference between native applications and mobile web sites. Last section of teoretical part is about approaches how to design mobile applications. The second part is practical. There are chosen three applications, which will be tested, if their graphic design was created well. In case graphic design is not created well, there will be made solution, which removes lacks in graphic design of application. There will be also evaluated hypothesis, if graphic designers are making user friendly applications.
Modern sales promotion using mobile technologies

The diploma thesis deals to design and develop mobile application for sales promotion in retail chains. Mobile application is created on base of designed service for sales support, that subject and design is written in thesis too. Mobile application uses the most modern technologies, which are now available in mobile devices. This technologies ensuring identification of customer in store, share marketing information to customer and other possibilities gaining detailed information about shopping behavior of customer. Thanks to those data is possible analyze customer by different methods which are in thesis described too. Based on this analyses it can be streamlined sales, shopping and other retail processes. Main aim of thesis is make usable mobile application which promote sales in retail chain. Theoretical part of thesis deals to describe general marketing on which is based analytical marketing resp. Data-Driven Marketing. Next part of this chapters is defining of retail, explaining its specifics and showing interleave to modern technologies. Concrete possibilities of modern technologies is presented in last chapter of theoretical part which is primary focused on mobile application developing in IBM Worklight environment. Practical part of thesis is divided to two chapters where first chapter deals to description designing service for sales promotion. Description is built by architecture, data flows and design of communication interfaces. In second chapter is described design of mobile application based on the service, from user interface to technological architecture. In this part of thesis the mobile application is developed, provided as a OpenSource with all source codes and available online as a demo version. The main output of thesis is mentioned mobile application, which is detailed described in end of practical part. There is specified link to online available version of this application. Mobile application contains diverse functionality for customer and its aims to test usability of modern possibilities in real-life.

Main goal of the thesis is to analyse and to design of a mobile application for Faculty of Management University of Economics in Prague as a new tool of marketing communication intended for candidates interested in studying and potential students. Theoretical part of the thesis includes general topics about strategic university management of Universities, marketing communication and relations management. Author also presents the mobile application as a product, its applicability, ways of its distribution and necessary steps for its analysis and design.
Application Development for Android OS

This bachelor thesis discusses the development of mobile applications for the Android operating system. The main objective of this thesis is to demonstrate the process of mobile application development and demonstrate various techniques and tools to accomplish it. Another aim is to show that the selected type of application can be implemented as an application for the Android operating system. Partial goals are to create a functional prototype application and to conduct usability testing. Bachelor thesis takes the reader through the entire process of mobile application development focused on the subject of procrastination. The first part is devoted to analysis of competitive software applications. The second part contains the definition of the target users and application requirements. Analysis and design of the application forms is the third part of the work. The last section describes the implementation of a prototype application and its detailed testing.

Application for mobile devices and their usage in tourism

Suring the pas two decades new technologies have integrated into all parts of people's life and one of them is tourism. Tourism has always been taking advantages of modern technologies - reservation and distribution systems, sophisticated software and one of the latest trends is an expanding popularity of smart mobile devices, especially the applications connected with tourism. This bachelor's thesis is primarily dedicated to the usage of mobile applications in tourism. First part is devoted to e-tourism, describing its evolution process and mentioning future trends. Next part is about relation between technology and tourism as a requirement for existeence and development of m-tourism. In the following part m-tourism and usage of mobile applications are presented. The last part includes an analysis based on a questionnary survey.
Mobile applications as a marketing tool

This Bachelor's Thesis deals with mobile applications for smartphones and their use in marketing. The goal of the Thesis is to provide specific recommendations for use of mobile applications within the corporate marketing mix, based on an analysis of creation, usage and position of mobile applications as a marketing tool. The terms necessary to understand the subject are defined and described in the first part of the Thesis -- deciding on application development, the development itself, application support and its integration into corporate marketing. The second part consists of analysis of four different mobile applications. This analysis is based on semi-structured interviews with representatives of companies, combined with publicly available information gained from literature, Internet articles, analytic tools and social networks. The result of the Thesis is evaluation of application analysis and following recommendations for using mobile applications in marketing.
Creating a functional prototype of mobile application

The aim of this thesis is to create a functional prototype of mobile application which will serve to the purpose of managing warranty documents. Way how to achieve the objective is to carry out a user survey and subsequent user testing from which the prototype of mobile applications emerges. In the theoretical part I analysed the most common methods of user research and user testing and evaluated them for the purposes of my thesis. In the practical part I used the selected methods to perform user research and user testing and subsequently created a prototype.
Application development Aphasia vocabulary

The theme of this thesis is development of multimedia mobile applications. Specifically, applications in the field of rehabilitation and re-education of patients suffering from aphasia. The aim of this thesis is to determine the application parameters, which in practice could be used by people, who suffer from aphasia and all those who assist them in therapy To this end, was developed the first version of Aphasia vocabulary. By the medium of Aphasia vocabulary was then conducted research survey at pacients with aphasia. The research assesses the suitability of various multimedia applications and controls aphasic dictionary while working with a speech therapist with the patient. It is a qualitative research based on the method of interviewing and participant observation at a standard therapeutic practice. The result of the research is a set of recommendations for the development of mobile applications for people with aphasia. Conclusions are useful in the creation of rehabilitation and re-education materials.
Comparison of cross-platform mobile development

This work deals with the development of cross-platform mobile applications and compares cross-platform development frameworks. First the mobile devices market is defined and its dominant platforms are described. The main objective is to compare the frameworks with defined criteria. The theoretical part analyzes the mobile market and defines the different types of mobile devices. Further, describes the various mobile platforms, including its architecture and de-velopment environment. Subsequently, the approaches to cross-platform development are described with their individual frameworks. In the practical part the selected frameworks are compared to defined criteria and subse-quently evaluated.
