Strategical and financial instruments for support of regional development

This bachelor thesis with the theme 'Strategic and Financial Instruments for the Support of Regional Development' explains regional policy on a transnational level, in this case from the point of the European Union, its goals, strategic documents, the future visions of regional policy and connections with the regional policy of the Czech Republic, which is described in detail too. The main focus of this thesis is the instruments of regional policy of the European Union and the Czech Republic which contribute to the regional development of the country. The practical part of this bachelor thesis analyses the specific Strategic Plan of Development of the town of Týn nad Vltavou and the financing of realized projects between the years 2016-2022. The strategic document was obtained from the official website of Týn nad Vltavou and another source are interviews with the town's representatives, which is helping with evaluating the use of financial instruments of regional policy of the town.
Comparison of Norwegian and Czech agriculture company

In my bachelor thesis I will compare Czech agriculture company with Norwegian farm. It is an agricultural company Neveklov a.s. (Czech republic) and farm of family Houmb (Norway). In the first time I will characterize both agriculture company, where I will write something about history, place where agriculture work and company production. In the next part of my thesis I will compare both agriculture company in certain criterias. These criterias are region of agriculture, size of company, kind of cowshed, cattle breeds, mechanizations and price of agriculture commodities. In the last part of my I will describe grants for agriculture, plants and animals production for both agriculture companies. Grants for agriculture will be describe in kinds and prices. Plant production will be describe in kinds of plant and yield from hectare. Animal production will be describe in kinds and heads of animals. I will write all information about final economy from both agriculture production. Every information I got primary from people of agriculture companies or in books, net and other publication. In the final results I knew that norwegian agriculture is very better compenzation than czech agriculture.
Analysis of farm management

This diploma thesis, called " Analysis of economy agricultural company", is focused primarily on analysing operation and financial indicators of the company and by using methods of intercompany comparison, determine the position of the company within the selected sample of companies. Ratio analysis deals with indicators of activity, liquidity, profitability, indebtedness and costs. In the next part of the thesis were calculated bankruptcy and creditworthiness models and model of financial health of the company. Intercompany comparison was done by using the point method. The livestock production was compared based on three indicators. The analysis of crop production dealt with selected crops. Last part of the thesis is focused on operating and investment grants. Based on the results of the individual chapters, the financial and operating aspects of the company were assessed positively. The reference period is from 2009 to 2018.
Use of EU resources to finance the investment project in the municipality

The bachelor thesis deals with the financing of a financial plan of village Domašov u Brna. In the theoretical part are described subjects as investment and evaluation of economic efficiency. Further/Furthermore, there is described theory of village and financial management of the municipality´s budget. The practical part of this thesis deals with "Construction of sidewalk on Větrov Street and pedestrian crossing across a road II/602 in a Domašov" and there are suggested possible alternatives of its financing.

Title: Use of grants for development of the field hockey sports club Slavia Praha Objectives: The main purpose of this thesis was to set up preferred goals for the field hockey sports club Slavia Praha to ensure its successfull development, with an emphasis on the use of grants provided by the City of Prague. Another goal is to create a list of available grant programs for sports clubs in Prague. Methods: Two analysis methods were applied in this study. The first one was based on the analysis of the documents related to the application for available grants. Thanks to this method the overview of the available grants opportunities was created. The second method was SWOT analysis regarding the field hockey sports club Slavia Praha which contributed to the setting up of new partial and strategic task for the positive development of the club. Results: The field hockey sports club in Prague, which own or long term lease the sports real properties, can apply to the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports for grants. The other field hockey sports clubs can apply for grants of the Prague City Hall or its town disctricts. Title: Correlation of evaluation criteria of non-investment programs of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports on the example of Czech Badminton Union Objectives: The aim of this work is to determine the degree of dependence of the evaluation criteria of national sports associations on the amount of funds received from the non-investment programs of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. Methods: In this thesis was used a method of analysis of secondary data, namely documents issued by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports and the Czech Badminton Union. For the calculations in the practical part of this thesis was used correlation and regression analysis. The MS Office Excel tools were used to determine the correlation coefficients - Regression function and then the Solver function to predict model situations. Results: For all the evaluation criteria surveyed in this thesis, the positive dependence to income of Czech Badminton Union was confirmed. Topic of the diploma thesis is the position of nonprofit and contributory organizations in czech formal and informal education. The theoretical part describes the position of nonprofit organizations in formal and informal education. Attention is paid to definition of the terms non-profit and contributory organization, the concepts of formal and informal education and the laws regulating the action of non-profit and contributory organizations in the field of education in the Czech Republic. In the practical part, the qualitative survey is realized, focused on the position of nonprofit and contributory organizations in the field of formal and informal education from the perspective of their directors. The research based of semi- structured interviews with directors of the nonprofit organizations finds what positive an negative effects influences activities of the stated organizations in formal and informal education and how is the cooperation with state authorities. Among the most important findings is, that the nonprofit sector is fully established in both formal and informal education in the Czech Republic, the availibility of grants is good, although the administrative burden is very high. The Integration of Disabled People to the Leisure Time International Projects

The topic of this thesis is integration of the physically disabled into international exchange projects. By chosing this issue, I would like to point out the importance of integration of physically disadvantaged not only into educational facilities, where the integrated gain knowledge, but also into programs for free-time activities of children and youth and into programs where the informal and enterntaining ways are used. However, in the Czech Republic the integration of physically disadvantaged into schools is elaborated the best, I believe it needs to be attended to in other fields too. Another point I draw attention to in my thesis is the need for free time in a person's life. I specifically mean the free time dedicated to various activities either beneficial to one's health, bringing joy or as a way of relaxation. By the end of my theoretical part I describe the handicap in a persons's life. In the practical part I describe the EU program - Youth in Action, which enables young peope to travel into foreign countires for either short or long term period. This thesis analyses the restoration of ecclesiastical buildings in the area of the Lusatian Mountains after 1989. It describes the emergence of the term Sudetenland and the relationship between Czechs and Germans from the outset of coexistence to the expulsion after the World War II. The main attention is paid to the architecture and renovations of catholic churches, whose condition deteriorated in the communist era. Damaged and blasted churches are also mentioned. The information on financing is presented where available.

The diploma thesis is focused on the ambiguous position of private retirement homes in terms of view of legislative anchoring, public funding, management, operation and quality standards. It also identifies problematic areas of private retirement homes, which is not well described phenomenon in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part deals with the concept of Public Private Partnership. The factual background develops in detail the situation of private retirement homes in the Czech Republic. The aim of this thesis is to find out how the legislative conditions are set to Czech private retirement home's financing, establishing and management. Another aim is to find out the differences between public and private retirement homes and to identify potential problem areas.
