CHOCHOLOUSOVA, S. The right of child, who is placed under institucional care, to be in contact with one of its imprisoned parents. Prague: Faculty of Arts of Charles University in Prague, 2013. 140 s. Diploma thesis. This diploma thesis is focused on the children of imprisoned parents in the Czech Republic. It deals with the right of the child to have contact with a parent in prison, the actual realization of this contact and its support in Czech and international legal frameworks. In the center of attention is due to the imprisonment of parents and separated families. There are problems with severing emotional attachments between the separated child. Growing up in childcare institutions, without their biological parent, has implications for their upbringing. Thanks to theoretic knowledge and conclusions the theoretical part is drawn up and implemented by quantitative questionnaire surveys of all childcare institutions in the Czech Republic. Their purpose is to find out whether the child's right to contact with imprisoned parents is carried out, what type of contact is most often implemented, and what obstacles prevent most of the contact. Annotation: The thesis name The children from orphanages and their integration into the class group is focused on taking the role of student by children from orphanages. The thesis is divided into a theoretical, methodological and practical part. The theoretical part is devoted to family, school roles and long-term researches of Matějček and Langmeier on the psychological deprivation and sub-deprivation. The methodology section contains objectives of the thesis and structure of the research project. The practical part examined differences in the conception of the role of pupil children from orphanages and children from family care using observational, questionnaire and socio-metric method and verifies that the monitored pupils from the orphanage have difficulties with social integration into the class group. Substitute Family Care - The Importance and Benefits of Foster Care

This work is focused on the evaluation and verification of the criteria of success foster care on the basis of their own experience. Affects the overall trend of the development of the child in the context of the family and the wider society. The key theme of this study is, above all, approach the importance and advantages of foster care, or clarify so much discussed questions of education of children in substitute family environment in terms of celospolečenského scale. To achieve the desired outcome here were used not only to their own knowledge and experience, which are processed in the individual kasuistikách, but also the conclusions of the expert examination of pedagogical-psychological counseling and specially-educational centre. The thesis has been processed on the basis of personal long- standing observation and study the behaviour of children in foster care, which are pursued and carried out directly in the family of the author thesis. Professional faster care abroad

Bachelar thesis is devoted to the topic of professional foster care abroad. The target of the thesis was to show the way of the functioning this form of the substitute family care in two different countries. The first part describes the characteristics psychological aspects of the foster care. Another part talks about the professional foster care in Slovakia. After separation of Czechoslovakia, the system of the substitute family care in Slovakia was developing differently than in the Czech Republic. There is a literature dealing with these issues of the professional foster care in Slovakia so I could well study it and wrote complexly about this issue. There is also a part in my thesis about the civil association "Návrat", which supports the comeback of abandoned children in to the family. The important part of the process of comeback of the abandoned children in to the family is the social work with dysfunctional families. The final part of the thesis informs about the professional foster care in Norway. I was studying in Norway at the Erasmus program so I had the great opportunity to get the information about the system of the professional foster care from the people working in such a organizations in Oslo. Causes of long staying of children in the institutional care

This diploma deals with the care of vulnerable children in the Czech Republic and in the domeins of foster care and residential care. The main emphasis is in the views of the actors involved and their perception of children, parents, foster parents and applicants for adoption in the space between the biological family, institution and foster care. This thesis attempts to describe the causes of the long stay of children in institutional care, according to some participants. The main methods are interviews with key stakeholders who are selected on the basis of rapid analysis of stakeholders. The research questions are at work identifying the main causes and sub-system problems from the perspective of actors, is devoted to their interest and proposed solutions. Theoretical basis are the stakeholders and their roles, how their behavior, relationships, roles and interests affect the functioning of the system and resolve the problem. Developmental psychology and socialization of individuals are used to explain the problem. The diploma describes the current state of the system of care for vulnerable children in the Czech Republic, family policy and outlined the proposed solutions of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, considerable space is devoted to temporary foster care for the person and social worker.
