Real extate tax in England

Firstly, my bachelors' paper deals with the importance of tax revenue for local budgets in the Czech Republic and in England. It composes and contrasts in tax laws in both countries. In the Czech Republic all land and building are under only one law, while in England everything is under two laws. All depends on the purpose of usage of the land. If the building and adjacent land is used for living, it must be regulate by the Council tax, if it's used for business purposes, it must be regulate by Business Rates. Consequently my paper investigates, how English land laws relate to the real estate, from the perspective of fulfillment of taxes' principles. It also discusses the possibility of these legal regulations being implemented in the Czech Republic

In the theoretical part we will focus primarily on the definitions closely linked to management and its relationship to the environment. We will also focus on waste management and legislation in the field of waste in the context of environmental protection. In the practical part we analyze the selected enterprise from the perspective of environmental protection. The next last objective of this study is to explore whether it is economically efficient for the selected enterprise to separate waste by type or to dispose of as mixed waste.

Tématem mé bakalářské práce je obsazování žen do vedoucích pozic. V našich společenských poměrech se jedná o problematiku velice často diskutovanou a medializovanou. Přesto však existuje řada předsudků a stereotypů, které jsou v naší společnosti pevně zakořeněny a znemožňují tak ženám plně se realizovat. Cílem práce je poskytnout náhled na problematiku zaměstnaných žen - a zvláště pak žen ve vedoucích funkcích - z pozic personálního řízení. Celá problematika je velice široká a zahrnuje mnoho různých aspektů. Budu se zabývat především takovými aspekty, jako je rovnost příležitostí na trhu práce, postavení žen na trhu práce a především postavení žen ve vedoucích pozicích. Zaměřím se na některé atributy pracovního a rodinného prostředí z pohledu žen ve vedoucích pozicích se všemi pozitivními a negativními stránkami, které tato pozice přináší.

Process of Recruitment and its Relation to the Perception of the Organization by Graduate Candidates

The diploma thesis deals with recruitment process in organizations and its perception by graduate candidates. The aim of the diploma thesis is to identify factors in recruitment process that graduate candidates perceive as relevant for making judgments about the organization. Firstly, the thesis introduces a framework of knowledge in the area of recruitment process, its strategy and methods complemented by ethical standards and employer branding conception. Characteristics of the target group of candidates are also introduced with emphasis on Generation Y specification, as graduate candidates are part of this group. Significant part of the work is represented by current findings on the topic of candidates' perception of the recruitment process and factors that are positively or negatively influencing their perception of the organization. Empirical research with mixed research design is also a part of this thesis, and its aim is to investigate the recruitment process in relation to both candidates and HR professionals, to get a holistic view on the topic. The cooperative system for the authority records processing in the Czech Republic

Tématem práce je kooperativní systém zpracování autoritních záznamů v České republice a možnosti jeho dalšího rozvoje v kontextu mezinárodně doporučené metodiky a zkušeností ze zahraničních projektů. V úvodní části je analyzován termín "autorita". Dále práce uvádí základní aspekty mezinárodního vývoje autoritních databází, a to především z hlediska vývoje standardů a doporučení pro zpracování. Dokumentuje vývoj českého národního autoritního souboru pro jmenné i věcné záznamy od konce devadesátých let 20. století do roku 2006. Podrobně jsou hodnocena doporučení IFLA "Směrnice pro autoritní záznamy a odkazy" a konceptuální model "Funkční požadavky na autoritní záznamy". Pro identifikaci autoritního záznamu v kooperativních systémech je významným prvkem identifikátor entity a identifikační čísla záznamů, práce analyzuje několik těchto systémů. Komunikační formáty pro autoritní záznamy UNIMARC a MARC 21 jsou popisovány s ohledem na využití v českých katalozích. Práce se věnuje mezinárodním projektům (NACO, AUTHOR, LEAF) a využití jejich zkušeností v českém systému. Těžiště práce spočívá v rozboru historie, finančního zabezpečení, technického řešení a metodiky projektu "Kooperativní tvorba a využívání souboru národních autorit". Liability for environmental damage in terms of civil law

v anglickém jazyce The theme of this work was: Liability for environmental damage in terms of civil law. As its theme suggests, the target area of this work was to determine, or rather to summarize the current legislation relating to environmental damage in terms of civil law. Environmental topic such as is in the legal system highly fragmented, the objective is to make a comprehensive interpretation. This work is published in the processing of issues towards a comprehensive study and descriptive analysis of liability in terms of civil law, in a broader sense - from the definition of basic concepts to the quantification of the damage. With regard to the topic of this work, it was necessary to make a finding what is possibly considered for damage to the environment from the perspective of civil law. Environmental damage can occur only on those parts or components of the environment, which are things in the legal sense and are liable to be owned by a particular entity. Ecological damage can only occur in soil and its components in the form of non-reserved minerals and vegetation and animals living in captivity. Internet specifications "RFC" and a current state of its global digital collection

Tématem práce jsou internetové specifikace RFC a posouzení aktuálního stavu jejich světového digitálního fondu. V jednotlivých kapitolách jsou popisovány a analyzovány důležité aspekty tvorby, zveřejňování a zpřístupňování tohoto specifického typu dokumentu, doprovázejícího rozvoj sítě Internet a odrážejícího jeho historii. Světový digitální fond je popsán jak prostřednictvím shrnutí repozitářů poskytujících plné texty specifikací RFC a další navazující služby, tak i analýzou bibliografických informací popisujících vlastní dokumenty RFC. Významná část práce je věnována podrobnému rozboru významu, struktury a obsahu tohoto typu dokumentu. Práce se také zabývá institucemi, které realizují standardizační proces nebo se na tomto procesu podílí (ISOC, IETF, IAB, IANA, IESG aj.). Součástí práce je popis některých rozdílů standardizační činnosti internetových institucí a tradičních normalizačních institucí (ISO, ITU-T aj.). V závěru práce jsou prezentovány některé filozofické názory, zamýšlející se nad významem specifikací pro Internet a internetovou komunitu.

Innovation and business project

The aim of the thesis under the title Innovation and a business project, is to develop a specific entrepreneurial project represented by a fitness centre and to evaluate it from the perspective of its feasibility and return upon investment. Firstly, the theoretical concept of entrepreneurship is analyzed. The next step includes the analysis of applicable legal framework governing entrepreneurship in the Czech Republic and the last step is represented by the definition of the structure of the business project. In the first part, business is described by its general characteristics. The next part is dedicated to environment analysis analyzing the internal and external factors influencing the business. Next step defines business opportunities which includes description of services that the business will provide. Then, human resources required for running the business have to be determined, as well as marketing strategy supplemented by a marketing mix. Based on this, a SWOT analysis is developed, identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats having an impact on the business. The final part comprises financial plan which deals, inter alia, with project is economic rentability and conditions underpinning its feasibility.

The economic importance of energy in the Czech Republic

The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the economic importance of energy in the country. Along with this theme are reviewed macroeconomic indicators, which are compared with some of the attributes of the energy sector, so that they can assess their significance and coherence. Impact on GDP is reviewed in terms of electricity production, and also by means of the export of electricity. Impact of energy on the unemployment rate is evaluated from the perspective of people employed in the field of energy. The overall trade balance is evaluated in terms of import and export of electricity and natural gas. Finally, assessment of inflation through the development of prices of both commodities in the wholesale market. To evaluate these indicators are used statistical methods such as regression and correlation analysis. In conclusion, the thesis explains predetermined hypothesis and comprehensive assessment of the actual importance.
