Analysis of economy of the selected agricultural company

Object of the diploma work is economic analysis of a selected agricultural company. Main aim of the work is, based on economic situation analysis of the agricultural company Unesovsky statek a.s. in years 2010-2014, suggestion of measures and recommendation of procedures that would lead to overall improvement from the external users´ perspective. Main goal is met by following partial aims: - Introduction and characteristic of the company Unesovsky statek a.s. - Application of financial analysis methods in the period 2010-2014 - Comparison of some indicators that are used by similar companies operating in the Pilsen region. Diploma work is divided into theoretical and practical part. In the first part, there is processed a bibliographical research. Author of the work used professional literature as well as internet sources. Second part deals with practical application of the information gained from the previous study. Content of this part is application of financial analysis methods. Final part of the work deals with the summary of the findings, their evaluation as well as recommendation.

The Development of Local Government in the Municipality of Chanovice

The thesis deals with the development of the village Chanovice located in the Pilsen region on the western edge of the Klatovy district. It has six local districts, whose history is introduced. Part called Development of demographic shows regressive development of the population and its movement. The urban structure characterizes the appearance of the village and information on economic activity added perspective on employment in the region. In following part is presented the structure of the Municipal Authority, including councilors and mayor, who are the key players in local politics and thus indicate the direction in the development of the municipality. We can also look into the municipal budget in a simple summary of revenues and expenses. A considerable role in small villages is played by local communities and associations, of which there are countless in Chanovice and thus there are presented just those they have the greatest influence on the running of the village. The important part is the performance of political actors and description of each electoral period starting after the revolution in 1990 to 2014. In this part are mentioned some conflicts with which the Municipality meets and face them. Most information was obtained from semi-structured interviews, which were conducted with representatives of local political movements and former local politicians, and based on the method of understanding interview then interpreted in this thesis.

Role of regional product in regional development

The aim of this work is proposal of possibilities how to use regional products for regional development, to strengthen togetherness and cohesion with the given region together with an emphasis on identity and cultural heritage. This work compares regional products in two specific areas of different countries , Klatovsko in the Czech Republic and the Pays du Revermont in France. The work characterizes a particular environment, the role of regional organizations, the definition of quality, certification of origen and labeling local traditional foods. A quantitative and qualitative survey shows that interest in traditional product by consumers is high and obvious connection between the consumer, regional product and particular region. National pride and the importance of protecting of cultural heritage has showed to be one of the priorities of our epoch. The results of this work eneble practical utility. They can be useful information and base for municipality of city on issues of other development of the region and cooperation in various areas within the national and international level.

Proposal of bad debts optimalisation from the accounting and tax point of view

This diploma work is focus on the bad debts management and bad debts prosecution in the company operating in fast moving consumer goods business segment. In the work there are mentioned the accounting and tax aspects related to bad debts and their correct performance with the allignment of corporate income tax legislation and provision law. The specialised literature and the basic tax and accountacy principles, which are described in the theoretical part of the work, were studied for this work. These principles are applied on the practical cases which are designed to cover all typical problems from bad debts area including correct accounting and tax solution. The tax legislative requests for bad debts are arranged to clear scheme that can cover decision steps in particular phases of bad debts. Based on the practical cases and studies of the bad debts management in the company were recommended steps which can lead to simplification of bad debts evidence, to correct creation of tax provisions and to use the cession of bad debts which have not been already used.

Foreigners in the Czech Republic

This dissertation entitled Foreigners in the Czech Republic deals with the issue of legal stay of migrants from the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland, but also other countries, so called third countries, in the Czech Republic. The author uses his experience and knowledge gained when dealing and communicating with foreigners at the Section of Asylum and Migration Politics of the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic, contact site in Příbram. The dissertation is divided into two parts. The first part is theoretical and it is based on studies of scientific literature and websites of Central Administration Offices. It contains a brief characteristics of multi-cultural and intercultural societies and focuses on the issue of communication. The main part focuses on the development of migration politics in the Czech Republic from its beginnings to date and legal aspects of foreigner residence in our country. The dissertation also lists and analyses conditions of all residence permits for individual groups of foreigners in the Czech Republic. The author elaborates on the Vietnamese community in connection with the questionnaire investigation. The practical part of the dissertation involves an analysis of foreigner residence from 1989 to date with an evaluation of statistical data and defines current changes in legislation related to foreigners along with new conditions of granting Czech citizenship. It also contains a questionnaire investigation with information on the Vietnamese minority, including reasons for residence of one of the largest minorities in the Czech Republic. One of the dissertation objectives is also to evaluate foreigner support provided by the state, but also non-profit organizations in order to propose strategies to improve migrants social status within the Czech majority society.

Evaluation of Marketing Communication

The theme of this thesis is to evaluate marketing communications, specifically with a focus on personal selling of the selected company. The theoretical knowledge which concern this issues are contained in the first part of this work. Communication activity called personal selling is futher analyzed in this thesis. The second part is devoted to the characteristics of Bohemia energy including its marketing communications, with a closer focus on personal selling as well. This part also contains evaluation of questionnaire survey, which was attended by 667 respondents. This survey was created to determine the level of quality of services provided by the sales representatives of this company. The results of the survey pointed to deficiencies in this communication activity and it also confirmed unfair behavior and practices of sales representatives. On the basis of evaluation of the questionnaire survey was proposed a few suggestions which could prevent already mentioned situations. Taking audio recordings with the customer´s consent or prearranged appointments could reduced the probability communicating of false information and at the same time improve the quality of the provided services.

Management motivation and increase job performance

This thesis deals with management motivation and increase work performance. The main work is to evaluate the style of motivation in the company, in case of occurrence of deficiencies, it is necessary to propose new solutions of motivational tools. The first theoretical part includes basic concepts of management, along with motivational theories and management staff, where you can get acquainted with all terms of people management. The theoretical part is compiled from secondary sources on the basis of specialist literature. The practical part follows the first theoretical part, which includes the performance of the company. The selected firm did not want to be published, so the work will not appear its name. The practical part is determined by the situation of motivation of human resources in the company (such as employee training, compensation and benefits). To determine the situation were I used information available from internal and external sources. Subsequent analysis was determined by questionnaires focused on employee satisfaction with provided benefits to which they prefer. If the benefits provided to employees are not satisfactory, then we need to build a new incentive program. Further research method was used in the form of a guided interview, which served to supplement primary data obtained by questionnaire. Guided interview questions were compiled according to the areas involved in the management of employees, particularly in the area of evaluation and remuneration and share information. Finally, the thesis was the finding of research findings. The obtained data was compiled, organized and evaluated. Based on the findings of the situation in the company were recommended new opportunities for incentive programs, due to which the company could achieve better results.

Marketing communications

This thesis deals with marketing communication applied to the developer project of the terraced houses construction in the area of Černá cesta, Olomouc - Nemilany, within support of a housing development in the village. Theoretical part of the thesis defines marketing concept and the position of marketing communication in the marketing mix. It presents individual communication tools and their use in construction. Practical part of the thesis focuses on the analysis of company marketing communication and the current market environment. In the questionnaire survey respondents' opinions are investigated and on the basis of the gathered information the plan of marketing communication is designed and the most suitable communication tools are chosen. Final part of the thesis evaluates the results and suggests measures in terms of effectiveness and feasibility of the promotional concept of the new developer project marketing strategy. The benefit of this thesis should be the innovation of company´s business activities and the presentation of results for both theory and practice in the area of marketing communication.

Marketing comunication in firm

The main goal of the diploma thesis is to propose suitable recommendations in the area of marketing communication of the company Costa Coffee on the basis of a questionnaire survey and data analysis. To accomplish the main goal of the thesis, logically sequenced partial goals precede it. The theoretical part contains basic terms related to marketing, marketing mix and marketing communication, especially communication mix and targeted marketing. The practical part describes characteristics of the chosen café chain and its marketing mix, which is inspected also in the closest competition companies. Also analyzed is the external marketing environment of the coffee chain. The questionnaire survey, which is aimed to identify suitable segments for setting most effective marketing communication possible, follows. The suggestion for the optimization of marketing tools is based on a research into consumption and medial behaviour and lifestyle of MML TGI population. On the basis of the data gained in this research, the perception of promotions on the level of individual segments is analysed. The conclusion, considering all the information acquired in the research, contains a proposal for improving marketing activities, and green coffee is suggested to be added to the café portfolio.

Management Accounting as a Source of Information in a Chosen Company

Managerial accounting as an information source in the unit of account will be assessed in a particular agricultural company with more than twenty years of history. The company is engaged in both crop and livestock productions and its turnover exceeds the limit of 250 million Czech crowns. The first section summarizes the findings from the professional literature, legal regulations and partly findings from my own experience too. The characteristic of the monitored company, including the interrelationship among different types of production is shown in the next part. Description of individual production processes is important for further monitoring of the use of management accounting, including its coherence with the production as a source of information for decision making. On the basis of these chapters managerial accounting use will be described and further evaluated. Managerial accounting will be evaluated in the areas of planning and decision-making. Further, in the area of calculation, cost allocation and coding of individual cost items for specific performances. At the end procedures of managerial accounting use in the monitored accounting unit are evaluated and some recommendations, including suggestions for possible improvements are described.
