Reconstrution of the brewery- Boskovice

The aim of the thesis was to design a renewal of old brewery in Boskovice in Blansko county. There is a restaurant with small home brewery, beer spa and multifunctional hall with facilities. Bigger structures built are: extension on the western faccade, which is characterised by its mass turned towards view on the ruins of old Boskovice castle and creation of passage that shortens local walking path. All types of services are accesible for disabled persons. There is a small piece of land next to the building where 6 parking slots are built. Two of them serve for disabled persons.

This diploma thesis aims on enhancing the competitiveness of the company IMI Partner a.s.. It consists in the proposal of marketing communication, which will serve to extension of the brand Pierre Cardin. The first part of the thesis contains the theoretical starting points concerning the brand, its identity and value, communication and extension of the brand. In the second, analytical part, the aspects of Pierre Cardin's brand life have been analyzed. In the last, proposal section, the proposal of Pierre Cardin's communication has been drawn up, including a timetable and sales forecast in order to enhance competitiveness of the company IMI Partner a.s..

REBUILDING OF THE INDUSTRY AREALS AND ZONES - LAUNDRY FACTORY "CHRIŠTOF" IN VYŠKOV. The proposal was approached as to the overall redevelopment area, leaving one central building. Furthermore, it accommodated a number of new buildings for shops, offices and housing. Urban design responds to the surrounding buildings and orientation to the cardinal. Part of the area is used as a park for recreation and sports activities. Overall, this is a change from the closed obsolete and unused territory which becomes a public space for shopping, dining, living and sports.

Guesthouse Repechy - renewal and extension of farmhouse

This bachelor thesis is based on an atelier project, which was elaborated during the summer semester of the third year of bachelor study. The subject of this work is restoration and completion of the former rustic building (farmhouse) situated on the outskirts of the village Repechy in the Olomouc Region, district of Prostejov. The building was probably built in the early 20th century. Its current state of disrepair was caused by the 2nd World War events, later inappropriate interventions and prolonged neglect and decay of the building. The building is mostly constructed from bricks and stone. The construction had several stages. At first, a two-story, partly cellared living area with nonresidential attic and associated economic parts was built. The cowsheds were built in the form of the "U" letter in the next stage. The object thereby got a character of an enclosed building with an outdoor atrium. A metal roof was later built over the atrium. The main aim of the project was to preserve the original shape and the appearance of a typical farmhouse as much as possible, while providing a new functional use, which might attract tourism to the Repechy village and embrace the charming landscape of Drahanské Highlands. This design considers the function of a pension with services such as recreational trips, including dining options, wellness stays, agrotourism and cycling. Hippotherapy is perhaps the most important function of the pension, the stalls part was specifically designed for its purposes. Due to the unsatisfactory state of disrepair of the building, it is more of a demolition, rather than completion and a subsequent reconstruction. Conservation of only the historically oldest and the most decorated northeastern frontage and the north-western corner of the original residential area is considered. Restoration of the Hell inn in Tišnov

The subject of the bachelor's thesis is the preparation of documentation for building permits and part of the documentation for the construction on the basis of an architectural study, developed in the course AG35 - Restoration of Monuments Studio. The topic of this work was to find a suitable concept of a new functional use with regard to the historical nature of the monument and its technical condition. The design also included the new construction of a housing for the owners and the solution of all surrounding areas. The result was an architectural study with an emphasis on viability and feasibility. The aim of the bachelor's thesis is a gentle restoration of the building with an emphasis on its revitalization with newly incorporated functions and original expressive elements. The operation of the tasting cellar in the preserved Gothic cellar has returned to the inn. The cultural and social heart of the building became craft workshops with a shop selling handmade products and a multifunctional hall. The operation was supplemented by an accommodation unit for the building manager, this operation also includes a new extension, adjacent to the west wing, which housed the operation of a temporary warehouse on the 1st floor and the bathroom of the administrator on the 2nd floor. Last but not least, the attic of the building with a reconstructed truss was revived. This part works as a mobile and multipurpose space, which can be adapted to current needs for children's camps, as well as for lectures and reading. One of the significant characteristic elements of this work are atypical roof windows copying the curvature of the mansard roof. These windows visually connect outdoor life on the street and occasions in the attic. This expressive element is complemented by dark metal accents of the restored exterior gallery, steel frame edging of the window, illusory entrance gate and new extension.

Restoration of old mail Rousínov

Bachelor’s thesis deals with reconstruction of listed building of old mail in Rousínov u Vyškova and new extension. The main aim of this thesis was to design new functional use of old mail, which is currently unused. Because of the building is listed, it was necessary to keep the baroque character of building and respect building in designing of new extension. Extension and existing building form a multifunctional center in the city. The information and tourist center and small puppet show were designed as new funtional use of old mail. These services are complemented by a cafe and exhibition in extension.

Translation of PHP Language Subset into C++

My work is focused on design and execution of an automated translation for functions written in PHP into C++. Generated code may be compiled as a PHP extension and loaded the same way MySQL, PDO, GD or so. As a result these functions may be called from PHP as if they were the initial interpreted functions. Since there is no need for source code analysis, interpretation, nor staging by Garbage Collector general assumption would be a significant speed difference. Created tool executes source code transfer into abstract syntactic tree which is followed up by a static analysis of variable types and consequently generates C++ code. Final speed increase then depends on the particular code being translated and its practical use is slightly elaborate at the moment - owing to the implementation of PHP subset.

Childbirth as a natural part of life, where the woman giving birth has prime position and the option of choice. She should feel free and accepted - to be able to give birth physiologically (without unnecessary external interference). Physiological childbirth as the best for a woman, a baby and their relationship. Up to 80 % of women do not need a doctor to give birth, but only a "suitable environment". In my diploma thesis I propose a "maternity house". This concept is well-known abroad, in our country it is a new type of care. For this purpose, I use two existing houses, which are owned by the city of Blansko and stand next to the hospital.

Family house with dental surgery in Bruntál

The bachelor thesis deals with the project of a family house with two dentist’s offices. The building is situated on the parcel No. 194/2 and 194/3 in the town of Bruntál. The family house is built to the already existing object. The demand on the corner house was respected in the project. The building has two overhead floors and a living attic and is designed as a two-generation family house. The first floor is designed for the dentist’s offices. The second floor is designed for the old generation of a family and the attic for the young generation with children. The construction of the object belongs to the Porotherm system. The roof respects the demand on the corner house. A part of the roof is of a gabled construction and a part of an attic construction. All entrances into the object are oriented to the north from the Požárníků street.
