Bidfood warehouse - a construction technology project
Špaček, Miroslav ; Diaz, Yvetta (referee) ; Vlčková, Jitka Laura (advisor)
The goal of the thesis is a construction technological project of a Bidfood warehouse. Part of the work is the solution of technological regulation for drilled piles and assembly of steel skeleton, organization of the construction, construction site equipment plan, draft of the main machinery and mechanisms. Technical report, coordination layout with a description of transport options, schedule, and financial plan are also part of this thesis.

Warehouse modeling using graphical user interface
Rajnoha, Martin ; Mašek, Jan (referee) ; Burget, Radim (advisor)
Master’s thesis proposes a new algorithm which enables efficient conversion of graphical representation of warehouse into graph theory representation and consequently accelerates estimation for route costs. The proposed algorithm computes route distances between any places in warehouse based on Breadth first search, image processing „skeletonization“ and Dijkstra algorithm. Using the proposed algorithm it is possible to search routes in a warehouse effectively and fast using precomputed routing table. Searching time is less then milisecond using routing table and even size of warehouse doesn’t affect it significantly instead of using Dijkstra algorithm.

Design of Autonomous System of Mobile Robots for Storage
Vančíková, Kristína ; Paliatka, Peter (referee) ; Rubínová, Dana (advisor)
The content of the master thesis is the design of an unattended robotic warehouse system consisting of a pair of cooperating devices. The aim of the work is to design a solution that allows the handling of cargo in the form of a package and its processing from finding the package on the shelf, through its sale between devices to handing over to the operator for further processing. The work is focused on the design and function of both devices in order to achieve overall aesthetic and functional compliance.

Proposal warehouse in engineering company
Jarolím, Adam ; Císařová, Michaela (referee) ; Štroner, Marek (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the proposal of a metallurgical material warehouse in an engineering company. In the first part, a research describing the functions and types of the warehouse, material handling and logistics methods was carried out. In the following part, the storage capacity was calculated and two solutions were proposed. Both variants are solved by cantilever racks with extendable arms. The first variant is stationary whereas the other one is movable. Drawing documentation has been made for both variants. Lastly, these variants have been evaluated by the technical as well as economic point of view.

Warehouse Simulation and Product Distribution Optimization for Increased Throughput
Kočica, Filip ; Kolář, Martin (referee) ; Kodym, Oldřich (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the storage location assignment problem using modern meta-heuristic techniques combined with realistic simulation. A graphical tool implemented as part of this work is capable of warehouse model creation, generation of synthetic customer orders, optimization of product allocation using state of the art techniques, extensive warehouse simulation, and a pathfinder capable of finding the shortest path for orders going through the system. The work presents the comparison between different approaches based on many parameters to reach the most efficient allocation of products to warehouse slots. The author conducted tests on an experimental warehouse featuring almost twice the throughput -- 57%. The benefit of this work is a possibility to create model of an already built warehouse and its simulation and optimization, driving impact on the throughput of the warehouse, saving the user's resources, or helping him in planning and bottle-neck identification. Furthermore, this thesis introduces a new approach to warehouse optimization and new optimization criteria.

The study of storage equipment for material handling
Halm, Petr ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Hloska, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this the thesis is to create an overview of the storage methods and storage equipment. Thesis contains categorization storage methods with regard to material handling and its importance. Storage equipment’s are divided by size of the stored material storage equipment for pallets, small goods and materials with specific dimensions. For each storage equipment is making its basic features and construction elements. At the end of the work tabular rating of storage equipment for pallets of small goods.

The Study of Order Processing in the Selected Company
Vondálová, Marcela ; Kuba,, Karel (referee) ; Milichovský, František (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with a study following a course of a specific contract by a selected company. The analytical part is devoted to the analysis of the current state, which is based on the examination of individual processes with the help of research methods. The output of this work are three proposed solutions for optimizing the material picking process, which will help improve the overall course of the order.
